ON THE ISSUE OF INTERCULTURAL INTERACTION IN THE SYSTEM OF SECONDARY VOCATIONAL EDUCATION (on the example of Sverdlovsk region)

Intensive migration processes of the last thirty years, where the Russian Federation is an active participant, lead to a gradual change in the ethnic composition of residents in a number of Russian regions. On the basis of field research in a number of educational organizations of Sverdlovsk region in 2021 and the analysis of the situation in the field of interethnic relations, the authors substantiate the need for the formation of intercultural competence by means of education. By the population composition with the passing of time Sverdlovsk Region will eventually become even more multinational, including due to migrants from the Central Asian countries coming both to work and to obtain citizenship. The regional authorities take this aspect into account in their work with the population: there is an Advisory Council for Nationalities, dozens of public organizations representing the ethno-cultural interests of a number of diasporas and ethnic groups, large interregional public organizations dealing with interethnic interaction. The problem of adapting children and youth from families with a migration history to a non-ethnic environment deserves attention, since the level of social tension and conflict of interethnic relations in the region where they live will potentially depend on the degree of their inclusion (integration) into the Russian society as they grow up. If multicultural Yekaterinburg schools and schools of Sverdlovsk region from time to time become the subject of consideration by researchers, there are no open access scientific publications of a complex nature that would systematically characterize the situation in the field of interethnic relations in educational organizations in the region, especially at the level of secondary vocational education. The study of the ethno-cultural component representation in the education system of Sverdlovsk region is conducted, as an example, the systematic work in forming intercultural competence in Sverdlovsk Regional Medical College is examined, recommendations are given to introduce “Ethics and culture of interethnic communication” as a basic discipline into the curricula of educational organizations of secondary vocational education.

Simulation of the business processes of the developing enterprise to create complex products with multi-level component architecture

The problem of research of business processes related to the organization and management of projects to create the new complex technical products in aerospace, shipbuilding, and other fields of mechanical engineering is stated and solved. The relevance of the study is related to the planning of a set of business processes, taking into account the architectural representation of the complex product being created. The study aims to develop a new method of synthesis of the multilevel complex of business processes to manage the creation of new technology, taking into account the multi-component representation of the complex product architecture. Much attention is paid to the complex product architecture, which is presented as a set of interconnected components. The following component types are outlined: components that can be reused; components that can be adapted to the requirements of the new product; innovative components. The types of components are studied in terms of the building of the set of business processes on their creation, taking into account the main indicators (costs, execution time, risks). Using the positive experience of past developments in the form of ready-to-use business processes helps to minimize the risks, and the new business solutions in their turn ensure the competitiveness of the complex product. The information base of positive past business processes in the form of precedents base is being built. The precedents base is used to find the close analogs of ready-to-use business processes. The set of business processes related to the management of complex product creation is formed. It has a multilevel representation that fully corresponds to the tree-like component architecture of the complex product. The method to synthesize the complexity of business processes that are planned to perform the tasks on the management of projects on creation of complex products for the developing enterprise is constructed. It is based on the “from top to bottom” system design principle. The optimization model to find the minimum costs, time, and risks in the process of business processes creation that takes into account the multilevel structure of the business process is built. The simulation event-based model in the form of a related agent set is used to study the successful execution of planned business processes related to the creation of the complex product. The results of this study should be used in the practice of creating innovative technical products that have a complex multi-level component architecture for the organization and planning of business processes related to development management. Mathematical methods used: systems analysis, precedent theory, lexicographic ordering, component design, integer optimization, simulation modeling.

MOTIVATIONAL FUNCTION OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEXTBOOKS

The problem of creating a new generation textbook and the implementation of the motivational function in primary school textbooks has been substantiated. The motivational function is characterized as a leading one for the textbooks. The recent publications on the discussed issue have been analyzed. The article emphasizes the importance of the textbook analysis techniques for strengthening its motivational function. The technique of the motivational component representation in the Ukrainian language textbooks for the third grade has been described. The textbook analysis has been carried out considering the following components of the motivational function of the primary school textbooks: the emotional content of educational materials, the ways of its didactic organization, the design of the textbooks. Analyzing the content of the textbooks, the author has taken into account the cognitive interests of young learners and the content characteristics of the materials. Considering the cognitive interests of students means that the textbook contains interesting cognitive materials, various literary genres, topics important for third-graders. The analysis of the subject content with the most interesting information for young learners draws attention to the presence of developmental texts (scientific facts in biology, geography, history, ecology, Ukrainian language, etc.) real life situations, facts from today’s reality; local lore materials; folk works; interesting tasks; famous people’s quotations; elements of humor etc. The presence of various literary genres in the textbook (articles, stories, poems, fairy tales, legends, songs, works of small folklore forms, etc.) has been analyzed. Topics significant for third-graders (changes in natural world, history of the local area, human relationships, stories about famous people, scientific travels, discoveries, life abroad, children’s dreams and hobbies, healthy lifestyle etc) have been analyzed. The author also takes into consideration semantic characteristics of the materials (value, accessibility, curiosity, emotionality). The analysis of the ways of didactic organization of educational materials takes into account the availability of practical tasks, didactic games, tasks involving emotional and evaluative activities, developmental tools, interactive teaching methods, the way of presenting the materials. The design of the textbook has been analyzed in terms of keeping to hygienic requirements, aesthetic and didactic criteria of the decoration. The research has contributed to identifying new possible problems that deserve special study, in particular, the problem of application of emotional and artistic materials in textbooks.

Application of Enhanced CPC for Load Identification, Preventive Maintenance and Grid Interpretation

Currents’ Physical Components (CPC) theory with spectral component representation is proposed as a generic grid interpretation method for detecting variations and structures. It is shown theoretically and validated experimentally that scattered and reactive CPC currents are highly suited for anomaly detection. CPC are enhanced by recursively disassembling the currents into 6 scattered subcomponents and 22 subcomponents overall, where additional anomalies dominate the subcurrents. Further disassembly is useful for anomaly detection and for grid deciphering. It is shown that the newly introduced syntax is highly effective for identifying variations even when the detected signals are in the order of 10−3 compared to conventional methods. The admittance physical components’ transfer functions, Yi(ω), have been shown to improve the physical sensory function. The approach is exemplified in two scenarios demonstrating much higher sensitivity than classical electrical measurements. The proposed module may be located at a data center remote from the sensor. The CPC preprocessor, by means of a deep learning CNN, is compared to the current FFT and the current input raw data, which demonstrates 18% improved accuracy over FFT and 45% improved accuracy over raw current i(t). It is shown that the new preprocessor/detector enables highly accurate anomaly detection with the CNN classification core.

GAUGE EQUIVALENCE BETWEEN THE TWO-COMPONENT GENERALIZATION OF THE (2+1)-DIMENSIONAL DAVEY-STEWARTSON I EQUATION AND 𝜞 - SPIN SYSTEM

In recent years, multidimensional nonlinear evolutionary equations have been actively studied within the framework of the theory of solitons. Their relevance is confirmed by numerous scientific publications. In this work the gauge equivalence between the (2+1)-dimensional integrable two-component Davey-Stewartson I (DSI) equation and the Г - spin system is established. Multicomponent generalizations of nonlinear integrable equations are of current interest from both physical and mathematical points of view. In the theory of integrable (soliton) equations, one of the key models is integrable nonlinear Schrodinger-type (NLS) equations. A two-component integrable generalization of the (2+1)-dimensional DSI equation, obtained on the basis of its one-component representation, and its corresponding Lax representation were proposed. A geometric connection between the twolayer spin system and the integrable two-component Manakov system is found. The nonlinear equations are integrated using the inverse scattering problem method by means of a linear system. For each integrable nonlinear equation, as is known, there is a Lax pair of two linear equations, a compatibility condition, that is, a condition of zero curvature, which this equation serves. We have obtained Lax pair whose zero curvature condition gives the Г - spin system.

BioRT-Flux-PIHM v1.0: a watershed biogeochemical reactive transport model

Watersheds are the fundamental Earth surface functioning unit that connects the land to aquatic systems. Existing watershed-scale models typically have physics-based representation of hydrology process but often lack mechanism-based, multi-component representation of reaction thermodynamics and kinetics. This lack of watershed reactive transport models has limited our ability to understand and predict solute export and water quality, particularly under changing climate and anthropogenic conditions. Here we present a recently developed BioRT-Flux-PIHM (BFP) v1.0, a watershed-scale biogeochemical reactive transport model. Augmenting the previously developed RT-Flux-PIHM that integrates land-surface interactions, surface hydrology, and abiotic geochemical reactions (Bao et al., 2017, WRR), the new development enables the simulation of 1) biotic processes including plant uptake and microbe-mediated biogeochemical reactions that are relevant to the transformation of organic matter that involve carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus; and 2) shallow and deep water partitioning to represent surface and groundwater interactions. The reactive transport part of the code has been verified against the widely used reactive transport code CrunchTope. BioRT-Flux-PIHM v1.0 has recently been applied to understand reactive transport processes in multiple watersheds across different climate, vegetation, and geology conditions. This paper introduces the governing equations and model structure of the code. It also demonstrates examples that simulate shallow and deep water interactions, and biogeochemical reactive transport relevant to nitrate and dissolved organic carbon (DOC). These examples were illustrated in two simulation modes of varying complexity. One is the spatially implicit mode that focuses on processes and average behavior of a watershed. Another is in a spatially explicit mode that includes details of topography, land cover, and soil property conditions. The spatially explicit mode can be used to understand the impacts of spatial structure and identify hot spots of biogeochemical reactions.
