In the past 20 years, considerable effort has been devoted to replacing the widely used approaches of HIROI, MINIKIN, NAGAI, PLAKIDA and others /1,2,3,4/, for the design of vertical breakwaters under the impact of breaking waves, with improved and more exact calculation methods. However, almost all new theoretical and empirical approaches lacked the support of prototype measurements or test results from model measurements at a larger scale. The difference between the proposed design criteria and classical approaches is sometimes so great that engineers do not have a reliable method for the design of a vertical or composite breakwater. Figure 1 shows the resulting wave forces per unit width due to different theories as a function of the design wave height H.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa maksimal proses kebijakan retrukturisasi Kredit UMKM dalam Pemulihan Ekonomi di Masa Pandemi Covid-19. Kondisi perekonomian global sedang mengalami goncangan hebat akibat mewabahnya Covid-19. Dampak dari pandemic ini sangat mempengaruhi segala aspek terutama pada kondisi Kesehatan dan perekonomian suatu negara, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Secara keseluruhan, hampir semua sektor industry mengalami goncangan dan tidak terkecuali sektor UMKM. Maka dari itu dikeluarkanlah kebijakan retrukturisasi Kredit UMKM guna mendorong optimalisasi fungsi intermediasi pada perbankan dan menjaga stabilitas sistem keuangan serta mendukung pertumbuhan perekonomian. Program restrukturisasi kredit menjadi program dari OJK yang dapat diterapkan oleh perbankan kepada UMKM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi empiris dari penelitian terdahulu serta peraturan-peraturan terkait dengan restrukturisasi kredit yang dikeluarkan oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan restrukturisai kredit bagi UMKM sudah berjalan dan digunakan oleh para pelaku UMKM. Kemudian berdasarkan implementasinya kebijakan ini merupakan kebijakan top-down dimana memerlukan banyak Lembaga untuk bekerja sama dan keputusan berasal dari Peraturan pemerintah baru di teruskan ke Lembaga-lembaga lain di bawahnya hingga informasinya sampai dan bisa dirasakan oleh para UMKM.  This research aims to analyze the policy of restructuring SMEs Credit in Economic Recovery during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The global economy is experiencing severe shocks due to the outbreak of Covid-19. The impact of this pandemic greatly affects all aspects, especially on the health and economic condition of a country, not least Indonesia. Overall, almost all industry sectors are experiencing shocks and are no exception to the SMEs sector. Therefore, the policy of restructuring SMEs Credit was issued to encourage optimization of intermediation function in banking and maintain the financial system stability and support economic growth. Credit restructuring program becomes a program from OJK that can be applied by banks to SMEs. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using empirical studies from previous research as well as regulations related to credit restructuring issued by the Financial Services Authority. The results of this research show that the implementation of credit restructuring policy for SMEs is already running and used by SMEs. Then based on the difference in implementation of this policy is a top-down policy that requires many Institutions to cooperate and decisions derived from the new government regulations are forwarded to other institutions under it until the information reaches and can be felt by SMEs.

Stress path is one of the very important factors of soil strength. It is significant to study the strength and reveal the importance of the impact of sand in different stress path conditions. Firstly, an ameliorating approach on implementing for the reduced triaxial extension by the conventional triaxial apparatus was discussed. Then, In order to study shear behaviors of the eolian sand under different stress path, two monotonic shearing tests with the conventional triaxial compression and the reduced triaxial extension stress path were performed and analyzed. The test results not only indicate that the amelioration on conventional triaxial apparatus is simple, practicable and inexpensive, but also reveal the difference of strength’s parameter between the reduced triaxial extension and conventional triaxial compression stress path. In sum, the stress path has important effect on the strength of the eolian sand.

This paper is focused on the analysis of the impact process at dikes with crown walls and parapets under breaking and non-breaking waves. A small-scale laboratory campaign was performed at the Hydraulic Laboratory of Bologna. The experiments were aimed to analyze the vertical pressure distribution along the crown wall and the resulting wave forces, by varying geometrical and hydraulic parameters. The tested configurations included different off-shore slopes, dike crest widths, crown-wall heights, dike crest freeboards and the inclusion of the parapet. The measurements were combined with the image analysis of the run-up and of the wave impact process. A sub-set of the experiments was numerically reproduced, with the openFOAM modelling suite, to support and to extend the experimental results. The results confirmed the link between the air content, the shape and the magnitude of the pressures according to the breaker type, already observed for larger-scale experiments.

SUMMARYFrom 1958 to 1962 over 800 boars and 3,000 sows were progeny tested at the national pig progeny testing stations in Great Britain. Their test results for four traits (daily gain, feed efficiency, average backfat and carcass length) have been used to study the amount and effectiveness of selection and to review the use of the test facilities and their effect on pig improvement.The amount of selection on test results was studied by measuring the difference in performance of animals with sons subsequently tested and all contemporary tested animals. The selection differentials found were from 0·05 to 0·30 standard deviation units for the four traits studied which represents a rather mild degree of selection. Thus selection could have had only a small effect in improving the testing population. In fact sons of tested animals showed little advantage over their contemporaries in test performance. Parent-offspring regressions were calculated and these, in agreement with theoretical estimates, indicated that selection would be effective and would lead to genetic changes in any of the four traits studied. Genetic correlations among the four traits were also calculated and indicated genetic compatability in improving the four traits concurrently.Two proposals intended to increase the impact of testing on pig improvement are put forward. These are (1) to restrict the testing facilities to a small nucleus set of breeders who could concentrate on testing and selection and (2) to replace the progeny testing by performance testing which would allow a more intense selection and a greater rate of improvement for the same testing facilities.

To predict the characteristic impact pressure due to breaking waves on platform columns corresponding to an annual exceedence probability of 10−4 model test data with the Sleipner A gravity based structure (GBS) are subjected to a stochastic analysis. The analysis is based on the environmental contour line approach. In addition, the procedure recommended by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for calculating shock pressures due to breaking waves is used for comparison. Time histories of pressure and wave elevation for the most severe measured impacts show that the measured pressures are induced by breaking waves. However, a difference between the resulting characteristic impact pressures based on the two approaches can be observed: The stochastic analysis results in much higher pressures than the approach recommended by DNV. These findings are supported by the analysis of data that were collected during model tests with the Gjo̸a semi-submersible and the Snorre A tension leg platform (TLP), where the difference between the results was rather large as well. For the semi-submersible and the TLP, one reason for the difference is bias in the fitment of the stochastic model. Furthermore, dynamic amplification effects in the force sensors have to be considered. However, this bias is less significant for the GBS and dynamic amplification effects are not present since different force sensors were used. For all three model tests, an important source for the different impact pressures is the size of the force sensor area, which varies between 2.25m2 and 10.89m2. Large areas may smoothen the pressure whereas small areas are overrating the impact. Further model testing is required to clarify this effect. If the difference is still present, the recommendation of DNV has to be altered to ensure a reliable prediction of the characteristic impact loads.

Background: Over the past few decades, there has been an increase in the number of open access (OA) journals in almost all disciplines. This increase in OA journals was accompanied an increase in funding to support such movements. Medical fields are among the highest funded fields, which further promoted its journals to move toward OA publishing. Here, we aim to compare OA and non-OA journals in terms of citation metrics and other indices. Methods: We collected data on the included journals from Scopus Source List on 1st November 2018.  We filtered the list for medical journals only. For each journal, we extracted data regarding citation metrics, scholarly output, and wither the journal is OA or non-OA. Results: On the 2017 Scopus list of journals, there was 5835 medical journals. Upon analyzing the difference between medical OA and non-OA journals, we found that OA journals had a significantly higher CiteScore (p< 0.001), percent cited (p< 0.001), and source normalized impact per paper (SNIP) (p< 0.001), whereas non-OA journals had higher scholarly output (p< 0.001). Among the five largest journal publishers, Springer Nature published the highest frequency of OA articles (31.5%), while Wiley-Blackwell had the lowest frequency among its medical journals (4.4%). Conclusion: Among medical journals, although non-OA journals still have higher output in terms of articles per year, OA journals have higher citation metrics.

Estimating wave-induced forces on water intake is challenging, particularly for large size intake (up to 15m in its cap diameter) subject to breaking waves in shallow water. The relationships between wave properties and wave loads are not well understood, and no simple methods are available to predict hydrodynamic loads on submerged intakes, particularly under breaking waves. This paper attempts to provide a method of assessing wave forces on water intake pipe and velocity cap using the Froude-Krylov formula, based on physical modeling test results for submerged intake under breaking waves.

In order to consider the influence of nonlinear characteristics of porcelain pillar electrical equipment on the dynamic response under seismic excitation, a theoretical analysis method of nonlinear dynamics was raised to define the nonlinear parameter of the flange connection and establish a dynamic model of porcelain pillar electrical equipment. The theoretical analysis and the test results have a good degree of fitting, which verifies the correctness of the dynamic model and reveals the nonlinear seismic response law of the porcelain pillar equipment. According to the results, both the nonlinear calculation results of the displacement at the top end of the porcelain pillar and the stress at the bottom end of the porcelain pillar are smaller than the results in the linear calculation. The difference between them increases gradually with the increase of seismic excitation. The differences in displacement and stress at a seismic excitation of 0.5 g are 14.58% and 23.25%, respectively. When the nonlinear parameter increases to a certain value, the impact of maximum stress on the bottom of the porcelain pillar is very small and the change is not obvious. The research provides a theoretical reference for the seismic design of pillar electrical equipment.

The basis of research aims to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially on the factors that trigger online purchase decisions made. This study is a comparative study because it compares the effect of Online Promotion (X1) and Lifestyle (X2) Online Purchasing Decisions (Y) between the areas of Tangerang City and South Tangerang. The research questionnaire was distributed within 11 days and obtained 165 valid respondents. The questionnaire was processed using the SPSS 20 program, and from the validity test results it turns out that only 38 statements are valid. From other test results, it was found that the statement was constant, normally distributed and did not occure heteroscedastidity and multicollinearity in the two regression equations formed in each region. The relationship between variables in each region is not very strong. The results obtained are that all hypotheses are proven, namely: Online Promotion and Lifestyle Influence on Purchasing Decisions, as well as proven that there are differences in influencing factors in the two regions. The difference that occurs is in Tangerang City the dominant purchasing decision is influenced by the Online Promotion offered, while in South Tangerang the two factors affect equally.

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the value of tensile strength, impact and microstructure test results on ST 37 steel plates due to variations in current strength of 80 A, 85 A and 90 A and 1G, 2G and 3G welding positions. The results of this study show the value of Max.load, current strength of 80 A 3G welding position gets the highest value of 5650 kgf, value of Tinsile strength, current strength of 80 A 3G welding position gets the highest value of 44.78 (kgf/mm2), then the strain value, the current strength of 80 A for the 3G welding position gets the highest value of 0.9% and the value of the modulus of elasticity, the current strength of 80 A for the 3G welding position gets the highest value of 97.94 (GPa,KN/mm2), In the value of the impact test results, the current strength of 80 A is the 1G welding position that gets the highest value, which is 116 Joules. In the observation of microstructure testing, 3 points were carried out, Weld metal, HAZ and Base metal at each strong current
