With the current growth of the internet, there are signs of e-commerce in Malaysia growing and booming, such as Lazada, Mudah.my, Shopee, and others. Malaysians have been increasingly reliant on the internet to obtain product details and to make purchases. This motivates e-commerce entrepreneurs to devise a new strategy for increasing sales by increasing the rate of online impulse purchases among visitors to online shopping platforms. The aim of this research is to look into the connection between key-driven and online impulse buying. The aim of this research is to create a framework that represents the main drivers of online impulse buying among Malaysian public universities. The study also addresses empirical results from a 303-respondent online survey conducted with SPSS version 22.0 and Smart-PLS version 3.0. The research paradigm is focused on the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) Model, which includes online impulse buying as a dependent variable and three independent variables (Flow Experience, Perceived Usefulness, and Trust). Non-probability methods, judgement sampling, and convenience sampling were used to select respondents in this research, who ranged in age from 19 to over 30 years old and were university students in Malaysia. In addition, this research paves the way for future studies by identifying relevant online purchase platform providers and product categories to conduct a new study.

The present case study aims to compare collaborative writing activities produced on the Padlet website on the internet and in a face-to-face (F2F) environment. This study for which criterion sampling was used included two different groups, both of which were formed with four people. For the triangulation of the case study, texts produced F2F and online, video recordings of the F2F writing process and records of the group interviews conducted after the internet practice. Thus, comparative evaluation regarding various components, such as writing processes, writing achievement, group interaction, creativity, and opinions of participants was performed depending on different data types. the findings suggest that the online environment shone out with advantages, such as time, flexibility, supporting creativity through and multimedia tools, whereas F2F writing offered advantages in communication and simultaneous changes by group members. However, it was detected that online texts were more successful than F2F texts and students’ achievement perceptions were higher in their Padlet texts.

In the article, I attempted to indicate that in modern communication, i.e. also in social life, ratiomorphism has been appearing. I define it as an unconscious, innate, genetically determined and teleonomically survival-driven cognitive faculties, skills and patterns of behavior present in all living being, including humans. It cannot be, however, associated only with emotions or irrationalism. In modern communication dominated by the new media, ratiomorphism takes on the form of technoratiomorphism. Therefore, it is obvious that ratiomorphism also appears in the sphere of meaning. In the pre-internet era, meaning was associated with rationality and universal values such as truth, goodness, and beauty. In the internet era, there has been a turn towards ratiomorphic values: truth is being replaced with acceptance, goodness with utility, and beauty with attractiveness. Paradoxically, than new strategy for finding and creating meaning is a rational strategy in the contemporary communicational environment.

In this contribution, I give a sketchy account, based on personal experiences, of four characteristics of electronic texts and the problems they pose for composers and readers: 1. Discussion lists on Internet forums, and the problem of recovering interesting fragments; 2. The (overused) bulleted list; 3. Collaborative writing of public documents as a kind of completing a form; 4. The use of informal style in documents on the Internet. The remainder of this contribution is devoted to the question how much attention is given to these topics in the teaching of composition and communication and in language use research.

Holocaust denial has long been ignored by much of the academic community to prevent directing much attention toward it. To try and garner legitimacy, the leaders of the Holocaust denial movement constructed a pseudoacademic framework to promote Holocaust denial as an alternative yet viable view. In the last twenty years Holocaust denial has spread this framework on the Internet with success, as antisemitic works like the Journal for Historical Review are now accessible by an exponentially larger audience at a fraction of the cost. Shortly following the appearance of Holocaust denial online, websites specifically devoted to responding to and refuting Holocaust denial followed in their wake. These websites, while useful archives of material, lack the necessary structure and design to engage with the new mass of Holocaust deniers that have growth out of the deniers’ “colonization” of the Internet. Ultimately, a new strategy must be devised to properly challenge the rise of Holocaust denial online, especially as younger generations are coming online earlier and social media allows for the virtually effortless spread of information. Keywords: 1977 Human Rights Act, 1975 Racial Discrimination Act, antisemitism, Deborah Lipstadt, Ernst Zündel, Frederick Toben, Hate Speech Laws, Holocaust denial, Internet, Nizkor

Financial reporting is the most important information for investors. So far, a rapid internet growth has created a new strategy for companies to communicate with investors. In this case, internet could be used by companies to report their financial information, or commonly known as Internet Financial Reporting (IFR). The objec-tive of this study is to analyze the effect of firm size, profitability, liquidity, leverage, listing age, and auditor reputation on Internet Financial Reporting. The sample, as based on sampling criteria, consists of 82 manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013. This study used a multiple regression analysis for the analyses such as to examine the variables that affect the Internet Financial Reporting. The findings show that firm size has a significant effect on Internet Fi-nancial Reporting. However, other factors such as profitability, liquidity, leverage, listing age, and auditor reputation have no significant effects on Internet Financial Reporting.
