The subject Music Culture, and especially the subject area Listening to Music, with its carefully designed procedures, methods, and activities, enables the enrichment of the spiritual aspect of the student's personality, as well as its harmonious development. Music is a source of positive emotions, pleasure and aesthetic experience, and is one of the favorite student activities. The paper discusses the problem of whether listening to music encourages and develops creative thinking in students. The sample included students in the fifth, sixth, and seventh grades of primary school (N = 108). Creative thinking was measured by a modified Torrance test of creative thinking. During the testing, the experimental group was exposed to the influence of auditory examples provided by the curriculum, while the control group performed the test without the presence of an auditory stimulus. The results of the research showed statistically significant differences between the control and experimental groups, which confirms that listening to music encourages and develops creative thinking in students.

Achievement test is of very important assessment tool to evaluate the student’s current level of knowledge and skill acquired from classroom instruction. This test is designed to evaluate the student’s level of achievement in a particular subject for a particular class prescribed under the board or the university. In other words, to assess how much the pupils have achieved the educational objectives in teaching learning process at the end of the course and if achieved then to what extent, it has been achieved. Achievement tests are proved to be very helpful in various ways to the people who are involved in the field of education such as the teachers, the administrators, the planners, to the parents as well as for the students. The teacher very carefully develops and conduct achievement test in the class which enable the teacher to get an overall idea of the progress or the level of achievement of his students in the subject area. The teacher can determine the pupil’s strength and weakness in the subject area. So, based on this the teacher can take necessary remedial instructional strategies for the betterment of the pupil’s progress. In the same time, it also provides feedback for the teaching efficiency of the teacher. As with the time changes there have been many educational reforms taken place and in between syllabus had also been changed under different Boards of Studies. In order to maintain uniform standard of education the Government has formulated a policy to implement NCERT syllabus common to all School Boards throughout the country and accordingly the State Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) follow NCERT syllabus and to evaluate students’ achievement in terms of the policy formulated by the Board. Till now, no any standardized achievement test has been conducted for the secondary school students of Assam. Therefore, the investigators felt to construct and standardize an achievement test in the subject General Science which will definitely help in educational research.

The aim of the research was to investigate the effect of teaching based on the model of enrichment in the development of creative thinking skills in the science of gifted students in the intermediate stage. In Jeddah, the research used the pre-test, post-test, control group design. (32) students; of the new students in the first grade average, and after the completion of the research experience, which lasted throughout the first semester of the academic year 1435/1436 e and the rate of (4) weekly quotas, the same scale was applied on the same sample and then collected data for the tribal scale, , And conducted statistical analyzes using To detect the significance of the differences between the mean values of the scores of the research sample in the Torrance scale of creative thinking skills, the research found the following results: - There are significant differences at the level of α (T- test) for the independent samples (T- test Independent-Sample) = 0.05); between the average scores of students in the tribal application and their mean scores in the post-application at the macro level of the scale, and in each skill in favor of the post-scale.

This research aims to study the feasibility of learning models, student activities, and the presence or absence of problem-based learning models on the creative thinking skills of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Mlarak. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. This study uses PBL learning models assisted by audio visual media for the experimental class and conventional models for the control class. The instrument used was a written test consisting of descriptions, while the statistical analysis used the t test (independent sample test) and one tail test.

A repeated measures multiple baseline across subjects design was used to evaluate the effects of story mapping instruction on the reading comprehension of four upper-elementary school students with behavioral disorders. Individually administered story mapping instruction focused on teaching students to identify the characters, setting, problems, events, and outcomes inherent in narrative text. Over all, story mapping instruction improved students' abilities to comprehend narrative text. Performance on comprehension questions related to story settings, problems, and major events showed the greatest improvement, although proficiency in identifying story settings for all students and problems for two of the four was not demonstrated. Limitations of the study and suggestions for future research are discussed.

The present study aimed to explore the effectiveness of a proposed program titled (creativity lamp) in improving students’ thinking skills and academic achievement and promoting creativity among them in Kuwait. This program involves several enrichment activities. The experimental group consists from 26 students. The control group consists from 25 students. Those students were randomly selected from a school named Al-Ma’moun Primary School. The proposed program is based on extracurricular activities. The teacher was trained about the way of implementing the program. The program was implemented throughout the semester. Through using the Torrance test of creative thinking-figural, it was found that the proposed program has a statistically significant impact –at the statistical significance of (a=0.001)- on the students’ academic achievement and creativity. The researchers recommend adding enrichment activities to the curricula of primary school students in Kuwait.

This study examined the attitudes of upper elementary school students toward physical education. Fourth and fifth grade students (N = 1344) from 13 school districts, 17 schools, and five states completed an attitude instrument with scores that had been previously validated for a two factor model (affect and cognition) and a four factor model (affect and cognition with the subfactors of teacher and curriculum). For the four factor model, there was a difference between grades for both affect-curriculum and affect-teacher (F(1, 1340) = 6.25, p < .01, ηp2 = .005). Similarly, for the two factor model the affect variable was different between grades, indication that as students age their affect toward physical education decreases (F(1, 1341)= 48.65, p < .001, ηp2 = .035). This study suggests that upper elementary school students have an overall favorable attitude toward physical education, impacted by how they think and feel about the curriculum and teacher.

Introduction: During space missions, crew is encountered with various psychological challenges. One major challenge during space mission is the issue of isolation and confinement. Understanding of human behavior and performance in isolated and confined environment (ICE) has been the area of interest for all those involved in human space program. Ground-based mission-specific studies are necessary before undertaking any specific mission so that the psychological impact of ICE can be investigated in details. The first human space flight of India, which may be launched in the near future, may involve for a duration not more than 24 h. This scientific experiment was undertaken with an aim to study the impact of 24 h isolation and confinement on psychological state of healthy human volunteers. Material and Methods: During 24 h period of isolation and confinement, 10 healthy human volunteers were evaluated every 10–12 h with State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Positive and Negative Affect State (PANAS), and Profile of Mood States (POMS) in the existing Isolation cum Group Confinement laboratory of Institute of Aerospace Medicne (IAM). Similar psychological evaluation was also carried out among nine healthy individuals who served as controls. Results: There was a momentary increase in state anxiety level during early period of isolation and confinement exposure (ICE). However, the anxiety level returned to pre-exposure level after 24 h. Furthermore, there was a significant drop in the level of negative emotions among the subject group as well as among control group in the morning of day 2 though there was no significant change in the positive emotions. Over the period of 24 h of isolation and confinement, neither the subject group nor the control group showed statistically significant changes in the total mood disturbance. None of the groups showed any significant changes in any of the POMS subscales, that is, anger-hostility, confusion-bewilderment, depression-dejection, fatigue-inertia, and tension-anxiety except for vigor-activity. Thus, a stable mood state was observed among the participants. Conclusion: Before exposure to isolation and confinement, the subject group exhibited a higher level of “State” anxiety on day 1 which had returned to pre-exposure level in the morning of day 2. In both days, the state of positive emotions was statistically insignificant among subject as well as among control group. However, a significant decrease in the level of negative emotions among the subject group and control group was observed. There was no significant change in the mood state in the study group as well as in the control group.
