This paper presents an improvisation workshop entitled "Yes, and..." intended for promoting this skill and teaching improvisation techniques to educational workers. After a brief introduction intended to explain what improvisation is and what kind of improvisation this paper refers to, we move on to explain the importance of improvisation for education, as well as the importance of teaching improvisation techniques to educational workers. To illustrate the role that improvisation has or may have in the educational process, we highlight the "yes, and..." principle, which is thought to be essentially describing the main features of improvisation, primarily acceptance (of an offer) and building upon it. On these rationales, we derived a thesis regarding the existence of a link among such characteristics, on the one hand, as well as activation and creativity, on the other, as important components that work together in the development of a motivational and developmental educational environment. In the end, we provided an example of teaching improvisation through workshop engagement using a detailed description of a workshop along with instructions for particular exercises and explaining their significance, in the precise way it was conducted with adult participants.

The relevance of studying the process of child’s growing up is due to a number of contradictions; on the one hand, children’s space of activities is changing, he/she develops in paradoxical, contradictory conditions, on the other hand, growing children do not show an active desire to grow up, sometimes imitate disharmonious forms of behaviour. The purpose of the study is, firstly, to describe the range of domestic and foreign works related to both childhood and adulthood on the background of changing socio-cultural practices, secondly, to isolate the existing manifestations of the problems, identifying the main contradictions caused by changes in the process of growing up, and thirdly, to attempt to develop conceptual provisions of psychological and pedagogical analysis of growing up in modern educational organization. We consider the growing up of a modern child in the educational environment as a process of constant changes in the structure of his/her subjective and objective characteristics, including the formation of child’s image of adulthood in ontogenesis, its development and implementation, as well as the reflection of development of adulthood by children in the psychological and pedagogical space by the participants of educational process (parents, teachers).

The analysis of the relevant literature shows that the reflexive environment is an important condition for the implementation of effective educational work, but it is also a kind of indicator of the level of the educational process. The reflexive environment performs different functions: informational, evaluating, diagnostic and implies cooperation of the participants in the learning process, as well as transparency of actions, sincerity, empathy in the process of overcoming difficulties. Informationsemantic, social, material and technological components are distinguished in the structure of the reflexive environment. It is fundamentally important that personality-oriented, interactive methods be successfully applied only in the presence of a reflexive environment. On the one hand, interactive technologies reflect the content, the dynamics of the development of the reflexive environment. On the other hand, the reflexive environment promotes the introduction of new, effective teaching and educational methods.

The question is raised about how to involve teachers of a pedagogical University in research activities and apply the results of this activity in the educational process of the University. It is shown how involvement as the highest manifestation of human subjectivity differs from activity. Two levels of involvement are identified: the level of participation in the activity and the level of influence on its content, course and results. The author substantiates the difficulties that arise for a teacher who tries to continue studying science after defending his dissertation. This is a contradiction between a high degree of research freedom and autonomy, on the one hand, and the need for responsibility and self-organization in research search, on the other. The factors that determine involvement in research are highlighted: research “vigilance”, participation in educational innovations and studying their effects, constant feedback from the teacher with students to adjust professional tests and enhance their educational results. The author draws attention to the fact that one’s own research trajectory can be interpreted as a kind of educational trajectory of a University teacher. It is concluded that it is necessary and possible for teachers to influence the formation of a relevant scientific agenda for them and thereby enrich the educational content of professional training of future teachers.

The article offers a scenario approach to the design of learning management system (LMS) structure. It is argued that the LMS structure and it functional components depend on the scenarios of its use in educational process which, in turn, are determined by the type of subject that is based on the main component of education content. There are three categories of the LMS users in the educational process in university: students, teachers, and administrators, and their roles differ from each other. The article provides detailed scenarios of how the LMS is used by various categories of users and describes the structure of the LMS in relation to these scenarios. On the one hand, the LMS represents a structured base of content: that is, it contains theoretical materials as well as tasks and exercises along with certain scales that reflect their difficulty. The weight of these tasks, initially determined by experts, can then be automatically corrected using the methods of mathematical statistics. On the other hand, implementing the described scenarios requires an electronic operating cover of the LMS, among the functions of which is the organization of control and self-checking, as well as providing storage and processing statistics of the LMS use. These statistics should then be automatically turned into the current rating of users which is important for knowledge evaluation and support of learning motivation in students during a semester.

The reform of the penal system provides for a change in the ideology of educational work with convicts in places of deprivation of liberty by searching and using new forms and methods of correction, introducing new individual forms of work that provide targeted pedagogical assistance to everyone in need, supplementing the system of encouraging convicts with other incentives for law-abiding behavior, improving the application of disciplinary action, strengthening educational work with special emphasis on involvement s in their career, raising the educational level. The indicated processes are relevant for all categories of convicts, but with respect to some of them there is a certain specificity in the implementation of educational work. One of these categories is made up of citizens of the CIS countries who have national, religious, ideological and other characteristics that influence the organization of educational work with them. Convicted foreign citizens have, on the one hand, the general legal status inherent in all convicts and on the other, a special status with special specific characteristics. Foreign citizens serving a sentence of imprisonment are a socially vulnerable category and experience social and psychological difficulties in adapting to the conditions of serving a sentence in a foreign country.

The article notes that remedial and compensatory focus of the teaching and education of children with visual impairments is the content of all educational activities in the institutions with special education that is implemented during the formation of competences necessary for their further socialization. An important value acquired by the use of folk toy becomes more important in correctional and educational work of Ukrainian special educational institutions for primary school age children with visual impairments, which helps to eliminate secondary deviation, resulting from the impairment. It is noted that the low level of activity with a folk toy among elementary schoolchildren with visual impairments is related to the fact that it did not find its proper place in the educational process of special schools for a number of reasons. The experimental method of art competence formed around Ukrainian folk toys in primary schools for students with low vision, which depends on the creation of optimal educational environment in a special educational institution, is described. In the design of the educational environment, the appropriate organizational and didactic pedagogical conditions for the formation of components (cognitive, activity, emotional) of visual competence about Ukrainian folk toys for pupils with reduced vision were determined. The proposed experimental methodology, including seminars, workshops, trainings, etc., favoured the increase of teachers’ professional competence level in using Ukrainian folk toys in corrective work with children that have monistic sight. An example of the content and organization of several topics of the workshop «Ukrainian Folk Toy», which became the main form of work on the formation of components of artistic competence, is presented. The effectiveness of the experimental training technique is proved.
