 The social isolation promoted by COVID-19 impacts the routine and habits of families with a reflection on the characteristics and generation of solid waste and consumption of natural resources. This situation has been identified as an opportunity for educational institutions to promote awareness actions with their internal and external community as a contribution to reduce such effects. In order to disseminate sustainable practices related to the daily life of the pandemic and to evaluate responses, the group of teachers and students developed activities which contributed to minimize the effects of the pandemic. The ease and speed of social media was used as a tool for actions. The methodological steps were: survey of the existing contents in the official networks of the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo related to the topic of interest, the definition of the InstagramTM social network, profile creation for the Ifes Biotechnology and Sustainability Laboratory (Labiotecs), increase of followers, creation and dissemination of content and publications analysis. The work is based on the Deming Cycle methodology in order to optimize its planning and execution. Among the results, 179 followers on the profile were reached, 10 posts were shared in the feed, 4 questionnaires and 5 polls applied until 06/17/2020. The effectiveness of the work was shown through the reach of publications and public acceptance. Also, the Deming cycle proved to be adequate and capable of being replicated.

Orientalism is a Western and Western-centric broad field of research that studies the social structures, cultures, languages, histories, religions, and geographies of countries to the east of Europe. The term took on a secondary, detrimental association in the 20th century which looks down on the East. However, this chapter will not dwell on the definition of Orientalism that is debated the most; instead, it will discuss the positive contribution of Orientalism to Western culture. Even though the West otherizes the East in daily life, when it comes to desire, vanity, luxury, and flamboyance without hesitating a moment it adopts these very elements from the Eastern culture. It could be said that this adaptation brings these societies closer in one way or another. The highly admired fashion of Orientalism in the West starting from the 17th century until the 21st century will be the focus of this study.

This article considers the specifics and main directions of educational work with foreign students at the stage of pre-university training in the context of distance education. The authors of the article identify several applications of the possibilities of Internet technologies not only for educational purposes, but also for transferring cultural and educational activities of educational institutions to the social network platform. This format of the activities clearly demonstrates that the possibilities of the Internet can be effective and appropriate in linguodidactic activities, being considered not only as a means of training and education, but also as a means of communication, obtaining information and entertainment. The authors compare offline and online formats of an educational event and consider in detail and comprehensively different aspects of its successful implementation from the definition of objectives to the final processing of the results. The realization of a presentation competition and the Internet capabilities listed in the article allow the authors to recommend this online format for use as a developed and interesting tool for working with students and involving them in the ongoing events.

This pedagogical and methodological chapter aims at contributing to increasing Web teachers’ awareness of the different ways teachers and students can make themselves “visible” in the virtual environment by describing three categories of footing in online educational forums, namely, social footing, teaching footing, and cognitive footing. The categories are explained in line with the definition of footing, originally presented by Goffman (1981) and extended to online environments by Paiva and Rodrigues-Junior (2004, 2007). The data stems from a 60-hour online reading and writing course for undergraduate students of English as a Foreign Language in Brazil and was selected having in mind the categories discussed throughout the chapter, with special emphasis on the role played by the teacher and her students during the course. The analysis has shown that footing can be clearly perceived as an interactive category for online environments by means of textual analysis, with special focus on the transitivity model developed by Halliday (2004) and the social, teaching, and cognitive presences investigated by Garrison (2006) and his colleagues.

The article considers the situation of inclusive education implementation in general secondary education institutions of Ukraine, which should provide quality education to all applicants. Providing quality and accessible education, including secondary education, realises every individual’s right full, economically independent life through obtaining an education, and the profession later on. This will allow one to become a complete actor in all social processes; it will help overcome social exclusion. The author specifies the definition of exclusion and outlines social groups of excluded, which are represented not only by people with health problems but also by those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, such as migration, resettlement, and being in a new socio-cultural environment, etc. Special attention is paid to the social group of talented children who require particular professional sensitivity. Paper emphases the peculiarities of the organisation of education of children with disabilities according to the traditional system, which was inherited from the Soviet Union, and forms the idea of changing approaches to the special children’s educational process. The situation regarding the real state of implementing inclusive technology, which was massively initiated in educational institutions of general secondary education, is outlined. The results of expert interviews are analysed, which allows the author to determine the achievements in implementing the concept of inclusion in the educational process; the first challenges faced by direct participants in the inclusive educational process, the main risks and expectations of managers in education. Recommendations for optimising the educational process based on the inclusion are offered.

Актуальность статьи обусловлена в рассмотрении проблемы формирования профессиональной компетентности студентов педагогического вуза для работы в условиях инклюзивного образования. Цель статьи заключается в анализе необходимости формирования профессиональной компетентности через комплексное включение студентов педагогического вуза в образовательный процесс и внеучебную деятельность. В статье проведен анализ подходов к определению понятия «профессиональная компетентность». Автором приведено описание опыта практической работы по формированию профессиональной компетентности в работе в условиях инклюзии у студентов Филиала ОмГПУ в г. Таре. Представленные данные проведенной диагностики показывают результативность комплексного подхода в решении проблемы формирования профессиональной компетентности у студентов педагогического вуза для работы в общеобразовательной школе в условиях инклюзии. Статья предназначена для работников системы образования, педагогов, учителей и студентов высших учебных заведений. The relevance of the article is due to the consideration of the problem of forming the professional competence of students of a pedagogical university to work in an inclusive education. The purpose of the article is to analyze the need to form professional competence through the comprehensive inclusion of students of a pedagogical university in the educational process and extracurricular activities. The article analyses approaches to the definition of "professional competence." The author describes the experience of practical work on the formation of professional competence in work in the conditions of inclusion with students of the Branch of the OmSPU in Tara. The presented diagnostic data show the effectiveness of a comprehensive approach in solving the problem of developing professional competence among students of a pedagogical university to work in a general education school in conditions of inclusion. Article is intended for workers of an education system, teachers, teachers and students of higher educational institutions.

This study aims to improve the character of the Indonesian nation in formal educational institutions through wayang media. In order to achieve the research objectives, lectures and demonstrations were carried out using the social functional theory foundation or Talcott Parsons' social system. The results of this study indicate that wayang is a multi linguist (regional and national language) and multi level (age level and education level) media based on the motto of Bhineka Tunggal Ika in the Indonesian State container and the values contained in Pancasila, namely: Divine Value, Humanity Value, Unity Value, Wisdom Value, and Justice Value. In a puppet show teaches values not as dogmatic (the truth must be accepted) and theoretically as an indoctrination (understanding the truth from one side only), but democratically and concretely by presenting the lives of the characters as real role models. Multi-level linguistic wayang has become a character education medium as a reference for educators (teachers) and students (students) in educational institutions throughout Indonesia

Violence against wives is the most common form of violence against women reported in Indonesia. Understanding the definition of violence against wives is one of first steps to address the problem given that recognition about what constitutes violent behaviors has an influence on how society responds to victims and perpetrators.             The study described and examined factors associated with the attitudes of Muslim undergraduate social welfare students toward definitions of violence against wives using socio-demographic and socio-cultural perspectives. Samples were selected non-randomly using convenience sampling techniques. Data were collected through a self-administered survey taken by 275 students in the social welfare department of two separate universities located in the provinces of Yogyakarta and East Java late 2016. Data was analyzed using hierarchical regressions techniques.             The study found that students generally reported stronger agreement to viewing physical violence as a form of violence against wives. On the contrary, they were less likely to view non-physical violence as violent behavior. Gender, attitudes toward gender roles, and type of university were found to be associated with attitudes toward the definition of violence against wives. Implications from the findings were discussed, taking into account the roles of educational institutions in shaping the students’ attitudes.

Purpose of the study: The main objective of the study was the analysis of key labor market request content for the secondary education system, the level of employers' expectations compliance and actual learning outcomes, the research of resources and partnership interaction limitations of all interesting subjects in the process of an educational order development. Methodology: The main method was the questionnaire survey of experts (individual entrepreneurs, the heads of industrial and structural divisions) of Moscow (N = 316). The results of the expert survey showed the interest of employers in close cooperation with school in order to reflect the interests of the labor market in the educational order adequately. Results: The most motivated group is a small business, the leaders of the lowest level in the sphere of trade and service, who directly interact with the school graduates in the process of their early start of labor activity. The experts noted the problems in the development of the social competencies among schoolchildren: excessive self-esteem, an excessive level of claims, low level of willingness to work in a team, the lack of such qualities as responsiveness and responsibility. The cooperation between school and employers is limited to traditional sponsorship practices. The interaction of employers and educational institutions is quite fragmentary, it depends on a variety of random factors (personal and situational motives), which does not ensure the stability and the effectiveness of social partnership. Applications of this study: This research can be used for the universities, teachers, and students. Novelty/Originality of this study: In this research, the model of Reflection of Labor Market Interests and Expectations in Educational Order for Contemporary School is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.

A responsabilidade socioambiental é um conceito complementar e crescente em discussões, tanto no âmbito organizacional quanto educacional. A pesquisa é de caráter bibliográfico, cuja coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de revisão da literatura corrente sobre o tema estudado em periódicos como Google Acadêmico, Scielo e Capes, bem como em sites das próprias instituições de ensino objeto do estudo: Universidade Federal do Maranhão (UFMA), Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (UEMA), Faculdade Pitágoras, Centro Universitário do Maranhão (CEUMA), Faculdade ISL WYDEN, Universidade Dom Bosco (UNDB). O objetivo geral buscou identificar o impacto das ações de responsabilidade socioambiental para as comunidades circunvizinhas das respectivas instituições de ensino superior analisadas e os objetivos específicos visavam explorar ainda mais a problemática, por meio dos seguintes pontos: identificar as ações realizadas e fomentadas pelas instituições de ensino superior no âmbito da responsabilidade socioambiental; verificar a participação dos discentes nas ações realizadas e analisar os efeitos gerados nas comunidades beneficiadas. Foram identificadas ações sociais e projetos voltados para o tema de responsabilidade social e ambiental em todas as universidades comparadas, porém em algumas o grau de envolvimento dos discentes e da comunidade externa é mínimo, como no caso das universidades públicas analisadas, enquanto nas faculdades particulares o envolvimento da comunidade acadêmica e externa, em geral, é muito maior e contínuo. O impacto gerado nas comunidades é perceptível por meio das ações de responsabilidade social desenvolvidas pelas instituições, especialmente pela Universidade CEUMA, ISL Wyden e Faculdade Pitágoras, que englobam a participação ativa de seus discentes nas ações promovidas, maximizando o papel da aprendizagem prática e formação cívica.AbstractSocio-environmental responsibility is a complementary and growing concept indiscussions, both in the organizational and educational spheres. The general objective sought to identify the impact of social and environmental responsibility actions for the surrounding communities of the respective higher education institutions analyzed and the specific objectives aimed to further explore the problem, through the following points: to identify the actions carried out and promoted by educational institutions superior in the scope of socio-environmental responsibility; verify the participation of students in the actions carried out and analyze the effects generated in the benefited communities. Social actions and projects focused on the theme of social and environmental responsibility were identified in all the universities compared, howeverin some the degree of involvement of students and the external community isminimal, as in the case of the public universities analyzed, while in private colleges the The involvement of the academic and external community, in general, is much greater and continuous. The impact generated in the communities is noticeable through the social responsibility actions developed by the institutions, especially by the CEUMA University, ISL Wyden and Faculdade Pitágoras, which include the active participation of their students in the actions promoted, maximizing the role of practical learning and civic training.

The word Corona (Covid 19) has been used by the population over the world and studied by the health sections widely. It has stopped the movements of people in their daily life which caused the psychological tension of human beings. This non stable situation adapted the Kurdish poets with tens of poetic texts at the aim of showing the influence of this virus and under (Psychological Dimensions of Corona Virus in Kurdish Poetry) title, this research has been written. In it, first the definition of Corona virus is presented, then the connection between it and (Literature and Psychology) and it with (Literature and Illness) are shown. After that, under the title (The Psychological Phenomena of Corona Virus in Kurdish Poetry), both the influence and the reflection of scaring and shock are clarified depending on the poetic samples of the poets which most of them have been posted on the social media. Fearing of getting this virus and losing lovers are two poetic images in a section of the texts. In another section, the shock of the poets which goes back to the new fact of this pandemic is presented. Finally, insisting on following the healthy guidelines is another prominent subject in the research. The mentioned are some of the points which the researcher has achieved.
