In October 2020, the neonatal resuscitation science update was published with several new treatment guidelines. The changes are based on an extensive review of literature using the GRADE process, addressing 22 topics. Topics for the review of interest include initial oxygen concentration for term and preterm infants, suctioning for clear and meconium-stained liquor, use of sustained lung inflation for ventilation, appropriate route for drug delivery, and extent of duration of resuscitation.

Hepatoblastoma (HB) is a rare malignant tumour of the liver and usually occurs in the first three years of life. Hepatoblastoma in adolescents and young adults is extremely rare; nevertheless the prognosis is much worse than in childhood, because these kinds of tumours are usually diagnosed late. Characteristic imaging and histopathological and AFP levels help in the diagnosis of hepatoblastoma. Paraneoplastic features of hepatoblastoma are not uncommon at presentation and include erythrocytosis, thrombocytosis, hypocalcaemia, isosexual precocious puberty, and rarely hypoglycaemia. Even though hypoglycaemia is commonly seen in hepatocellular carcinoma, its association with hepatoblastoma is very rare. We present a case of 15-year-old male patient presenting with complaints of recurrent hypoglycaemic seizures ultimately leading to diagnosis of hepatoblastoma. Managed successfully with neoadjuvant chemotherapy, surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy with adriamycin and cisplatin based regimens. An extensive review of literature in the PubMed and MEDLINE did not reveal much data on paraneoplastic recurrent hypoglycaemic seizures as an initial presentation of hepatoblastomas in adolescents and young adults.

This article is about the development of a measurement scale for assessing institutional effectiveness (IE) in the context of business schools (B-schools) in India. In the twenty-first century, IE has become an integral part of quality higher education. It attracts more scholars and academicians around the globe than ever before. The methodology comprises extensive review of literature, focusing on models and scale construction of IE. The content of the items was validated by academic and industry experts for 30 items under 6 factors. The definitions of the expected constructs were explained to the experts. Then, in the second phase, after the collection and filtration of responses, a total number of 205 respondents of the complete questionnaire were supported by literature review. As a result of the study, a standardized scale was developed with 15 items distributed among four major factors that made it possible to measure and, hence, improve the outcomes of an institution’s mission in terms of its planning, performance and effectiveness. The scale has been tested for content, construct and criterion validity with reliability scores of each factor. The article also provides the limitations of the study and the future scope for researchers to further explore and improve the measurement of the construct named IE.

IntroductionEating disorders are pathologies with potentially serious psychic and somatic consequences, and high mortality. Lifetime prevalence in adults is about 0.6% for anorexia nervosa, 1% for bulimia, and 3% for binge eating disorder. However, the prognosis is improved if a suitable care is quickly established. Caregivers are often highly involved and helpless in facing such diseases. They often express a significant psychological distress. We must contribute to provide them answers, to strengthen their key role as a resource and support for the patient. It is found that carers themselves are poorly trained in screening, diagnosing and supporting eating disorders. There are effective therapeutic approaches, such as psychoeducation, to improve therapeutic alliance.Objectives/aimsThis work aims to realize a French psychoeducational audio-visual tool for patients with eating disorders, their caregivers, and professional carers.MethodsWe made an extensive review of literature (focus on the international practice guidelines, existing psychoeducational tools), and several consensus meetings. We decided of original directions to drive the psychoeducational approach of the movies, taking into account previous findings.ResultsThis tool includes three movies approaching the symptoms and the choice of treatment setting, based on the disease course and the care's goals. They may be broadcasted on a national level through professional networks and associations involved in the treatment of eating disorders.ConclusionThis work improves the knowledge of eating disorders in carers, patients and their families. The relevance and effectiveness of this tool on the course of the disease has to be further evaluated.Disclosure of interestThe authors have not supplied their declaration of competing interest.

This paper examines the effectiveness of rules, procedures and Acts as instruments of corporate governance in Uganda, with interest in the performance of private companies. An extensive review of literature and ethnographic observation of the dynamic of corporate governance in private companies indicate that much as the private companies have adopted a hybrid regulatory framework of corporate governance, loopholes do still exist that have hindered the effectiveness  of these instrument in the performance of private companies. Therefore there is need for strengthening corporate governance systems; however some of the weakness are attributed to the unsolved debate on key issues of corporate governance globally that trickles down to Uganda’s young corporate governance system in the private sector.

This research project aims to prove the viability of a digital marketplace application where locals can create and sell self-guided routes for tourists. The research will operate under the assumption that a route will need to be sufficiently ‘valuable’ by metrics that can be defined after an extensive review of literature. My hypothesis is that route creators can design a ‘valuable’ route in about fifteen minutes. In terms of methodology, I will begin by creating a template for locals to create a route. I will have a group of locals in Toronto create routes and time them in order to test the route creation process. The results disprove that a route with ‘value’ can be created in fifteen minutes, instead hosts’ time needs can vary. Finally, a functioning prototype of the application is made based on user input and feedback.

This paper investigates the inter-organizational Critical Success Factors for coopetition in oil and gas distribution networks. Based on an extensive review of literature, 17 Critical Success Factors were identified and analyzed in the context of oil and gas distribution industry. We concluded that Trust, Outcomes, Outcomes distribution and Tension have the greatest impact on coopetition success within business networks, while Congruence, Governance, Inter-dependence and Equity, even though significant, have the lowest impact. The study contributes to the development of literature concerning Critical Success Factors in business networks by presenting an inter-organizational perspective, by providing a ranking of them, and by discussing the implications for oil and gas distribution companies.

Anniversary reactions–psychological, physical, and/or behavioral responses occurring at a time of special significance related to the death of a family member–have received little attention in children. In adults, anniversary reactions are described as signs of incomplete or pathological mourning. If childhood responses to bereavement become pathological in adulthood, it is important to study early anniversaries and develop strategies for prevention. This article describes an exploratory study that had the goals of identifying and understanding symptomatic behavior that may occur as a part of a child's anniversary reaction to the death of a family member, and differentiating children's normal and predictable anniversary responses from pathological reactions. An extensive review of literature about children's anniversary reactions to the death of a family member, anniversary reactions in adults, the development of the child's concepts of death and of time, and about children's mourning suggests significant gaps in the understanding of this process. Findings from the exploratory study of eighteen children's anniversary reactions are reported and areas for future study are identified.
