Risk management is one of the fundamental points for the success of projects to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). One aspect that significantly influences the projects and that should be considered in the risk analysis is the seasonality, although it has been low discussed in the literature. In this sense, this work aims to identify and analyze the most appropriate risk analysis tools for ERP implementation projects influenced by seasonal uncertainties. To achieve the goal, this research was composed by a Systematic Review of Literature and the application of the Delphi technique with Project Management Professionals. The result obtained with this research was the identification of eight more suitable tools to analyze risks in ERP implementation projects influenced by seasonal uncertainties. It was also analyzed separately were the amounts assigned to the risk analysis tools by the Delphi Panel participants.

To deepen the knowledge on enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation in small and medium size enterprises (SMEs), this study identifies and assesses the main risks in ERP projects through a case study of three manufacturing SMEs. Various tools, standardised methods and techniques have been developed to help enterprises better manage their ERP projects. In this paper, the author introduces two risk management methods targeted for SMEs in their ERP implementation projects. By using company-specific risk analysis method (RAM), the critical risks of the ERP projects have been identified and assessed. Then, by using characteristics analysis method (CAM), recommendations of how to divide the ERP projects into manageable sub projects are given.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a concept of enterprise system that describe the integration of the whole process in the organization. Study in this field mostly about external development paradigm on information system development. So, issue in ERP is all about how to adopt it in the organization, not about the application development. This paper reviews two methodology on ERP system implementation, one is vendor perspective methodology and new generic perspective methodology. Comparation of both methodology is done in this study by using Roger Sessions’ metric. Result is the vendor perspective slightly superior than the new generic perspective methodology.

ERP, or Enterprise Resource Planning systems help business management, which consists of a well-designed interface that incorporates different programs to integrate and manage all company functions at intervals of a company, these sets incorporate applications for human resources, monetary and accounting, sales and distribution, project management, materials management, SCM, or Supply Chain Management and quality management. Currently, organizations are running to improve their ability to survive in the global market competitions of the 21st century. While the organizations try to advance in their level of agility, changing and modifying the process of decision-making to make it more efficient and effective to satisfy the successive variations of the market. Different views are gathered regarding ERP implementation of ERP in manufacturing. Even we have taken certain essential components of ERP for a better understanding of ERP. Ease of use, usefulness, quality, and trust on ERP services have been taken an independent variable that affects user’s decision to adopt ERP. The role of ERP technology in manufacturing facilities are broken into more categories for detail concept. Quantitative data analysis methods were usually used for questionnaire data analysis which was utilized to analyze statistical data and after that collection of interview data was done. A researcher has applied different statistical tools like Chi-Square Tests, Anova, etc. to analyze the collected data. A researcher essential portion is to analyze and interpret data that relates to modifying data which explains the solution to the research question with some additional future recommendation for more quality research.

<p class="Imar-Abstract">The objectives of this research are to see the influence of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation and organizational capability toward Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practices. GSCM practices are seen through green purchasing, cooperation with customers, and investment recovery practices. ERP implementation is measured using integration, configuration, and adaptation of the organization information system. Meanwhile, organization capabilities are measured by information access, product innovation, and flexibilities.</p><p class="Imar-Abstract">This research uses a convenience sampling technique by distributing questioner 60 respondents. They are employees who work in different types of companies. The results showed that ERP implementation influences the practice of cooperation with customers, while ERP practices do not influence green purchasing and investment recovery practices.  Organizational capabilities also do not influence the practice of GSCM.</p>

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has become the core of successful information management and is also the foundation of corporate information systems for treating with everything related to corporate processes. The ERP implementation has been considered a complicated process because introducing process is involved with different potential conditions and factors so that they may affect the ultimate performance of ERP systems. The aim of this study is to analyze success factors of introducing SAP system for ERP implementation in small and midsized firms. The authors first found out past critical factors affecting the ERP implementation by means of literature review in order to understand results of past studies. Next, the authors widely collected the critical success factors from previous studies and sifted out representative factors to make up a questionnaire. Through the pilot study and questionnaire revision, the authors identified the content of the questionnaire and started interviewing job. When interviewing activities were finished, they began to study and analyze the data. Survey results indicate that three of the most important factors affecting ERP implementation are “top management support and commitment”, “project manager’s competence” and “communication and coordination effectiveness”.

Organizations require to enhance their firm level resources to compete in turbulent business environment. Strategic application systems, such as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is one such resource technology that centralizes the database of the organization to enable a seamless view of the organization. However, implementation of ERP systems in organizations has not been a success story for many. ERP systems implementation brings about large scale organizational change and hence it becomes essential for stakeholders to have a reference framework for planning for various dimensions of the organization. Hence this chapter applies a General Morphological Analysis(GMA) to identify the most suitable theory to analyse ERP implementation. Socio technical theory with Leavitt's diamond model was analysed as most appropriate since they are based on the of premises organizational change at firm level. Socio technical organizational change model will enable stakeholders to analyse resources required for core dimensions of the organization for ERP implementation.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have been recognized as complex and costly, which limited their implementation in large organizations. However, an increasing number of small organizations have recently gained interest in this system. This paper investigates the implementation process of ERP in a small firm. The investigation focused on two perspectives of ERP implementation: successes achieved and problems encountered. Despite many problems encountered in the firm, the ERP system still exists. This gives evidence that small organizations are more flexible and motivated to adapt to change and implement an ERP system. Most problems were encountered at early stages of implementation, which can be minimized if deliberate decision making of ERP implementation and proper selection processes were in place. Further, ERP is a good solution for small organizations if they are able to build a relevant in-house system.
