Kickboxing is one of the most attractive and dynamic modern sports. It combines the most effective techniques with legs and hands from karate and classic boxing. This symbiosis between the two sports makes it an exciting spectacle attracting numerous admirers. Kickboxing is not a demonstration game designed solely for audiences and entertainment. It is a sport discipline and, as such, is subject to the general methodological foundations and norms of sports training. The application of the general principles and laws in the kickbox training process is hampered by the lack of a scientifically based, in-depth research on this sport (Lefterov 2006: 27, Kaikov, Yonov 2001, Zlatev 2010: 122, Pavlova, Petkova 2017: 79). This is a sport with a complex motoring activity that manifests itself in constantly changing and extreme conditions of training and competition. Kickboxing practitioners are subjected to great physical and mental stresses. They have to master and apply a great arsenal of complex dynamic stereotypes in the ring, in the context of an acute conflict with an opponent who actively counters them. The time deficiency in which an exchange takes place shows that, in addition to physical qualities, the kickboxer must also possess a specific sport intelligence to realize in the conditions of the training and the race. The technical arsenal that every kickboxer has to master is diverse and coordinated. It can be divided into two parts: technique of attack and defense technique (Lefterov 2006: 27, Kaikov,,Yonov 2001, Zlatev 2010: 122, Pavlova, Petkova 2017: 79).

This article provides information on the experimental effectiveness of the training process to 12-13 year-old handball players in their formed team-game specialization. Currently, the competition calendar has radically changed, it has become more dense and intense for teams of different levels and ages with high demands on the results of the competition. And this, in turn, creates difficulties in the training process of athletes, allowing an excessive intensification of training sessions, with all the ensuing consequences. We believe that in this situation, in order to improve the sports training of handball players, at the present stage, it is necessary to use other possible reserves, which suggest, against the background of general training processes, the restructuring of the existing ways of organizing game capabilities, including an earlier age-related team-game specialization of athletes, in which their role, as an individual sports and technical characteristic, will be especially effective in competitive manifestations.

The following paper deals with essential characteristics of various sides and components of sports training in swimming on the basis of a retrospective analysis of scientific and methodical literature. The authors describe a number of interrelated elements that provide a swimmers training mechanism and investigate the key components that reveal the content of sports training process of swimmers: training process planning; training process monitoring, athletes state of health; monitoring data analysis and synthesis and timely adjustments application in planning. The authors think that it is important to adjust parameters of training load during training sessions, taking into account the individual capabilities of swimmers and determining the choice of the most effective tools and methods. Specialized literature data study made the authors conclude that the design management of sports training begins with a comprehensive analysis of chosen sport current state and existing development trends evaluation in the context of specific sports activity conditions. As a result the authors note that the functioning scheme of sports training management structural components in swimming involves cyclical process management and forecasting mechanisms on the basis of timely adjustments of specific objectives and systems and correction of athletes dynamically changing potential.

Balances in rhythmic gymnastics constitute one of the basic groups of elements. When performing any elements of the program, it is extremely important for a gymnast to maintain the balance of the body and its parts in relation to each other. At the same time, flexibility is considered a fundamental quality in the sport in question, for it determines both selection and training in sports schools. The aim of the study was to substantiate the effectiveness of the training program for young gymnasts at the initial stage of sports training (1st year of training) based on the methodology of developing the ability to balance. The study was conducted from September 2017 to March 2018 on the basis of Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No. 42 (Moscow). The participants were of the same age, which ensures the qualitative homogeneity of the sample. Two groups of participants – experimental and control – were randomly formed. In the experimental group, the training of young gymnasts was conducted according to the methodology, the main provisions of which are: the division of training in the direction of the development of physical qualities in accordance with the schedule; the use of parterre gymnastics exercises as a warm-up; a strictly determined sequence in the development of elements (small poses, concluding exercises, large poses of classical dance, forms of basic equilibria, complicated equilibria, turns). The results of the control tests showed that, in the experimental group, the average increase in the index of ability to equilibria (Δe = 30.8%) was significantly higher than in the control group (Δc = 8.3%). The practical application of the proposed technique is that it can be used in the organization of the training process of young gymnasts at the stage of initial sports training (1st year of training). Currently, when training novice athletes, the emphasis is on the development of the physical quality of flexibility. In the course of the study, the authors found it necessary to answer the question of whether the developed technique had a negative impact on the development of flexibility. They analyzed the flexibility tests used in the selection of gymnasts and saw that the quality of change in both groups was comparable. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed methodology does not prevent the development of flexibility. The results of this study will serve as a starting point for further research on the problem of the content of the training process of young gymnasts at the stage of initial sports training.
