Abstract Using a strictly qualitative approach, the present work suggests a possible explanation for the observed antioxidant action of dithiocarbamates. It has been shown that dithiocarbamates react with hydroperoxides to form a new oxidized intermediate which in most cases is stable. These have been identified as semisulfinates: (see PDF for diagram) With continued oxidation, a normal sulfinate is formed, the structure of which is probably best represented as follows where M is a divalent metal and R is, e.g., a simple alkyl group: (see PDF for diagram) The stability of the above compound will depend upon the metal M and the nature or size of the alkyl group. These compounds further decompose into a thiuram monosulfide and the corresponding metal sulfate. Particularly active or sensitive dithiocarbamates are oxidized directly to the metal sulfate and thiuram monosulfide. In these cases, the ephemeral formation of the semi-sulfinate and normal sulfinate as intermediates is probable. In the presence of excess hydroperoxide, the thiuram monosulfide undergoes further oxidation to form a carbamyl thiocarbamyl disulfide: (see PDF for diagram) Compounds of this structure are moisture sensitive and readily undergo hydrolysis. In the presence of zinc oxide and water such as would be found on the surface of a conventional rubber stock, it is suggested that a further reaction occurs to form a zinc dithiocarbamate which will then undergo the sequence of reactions described above until the dithiocarbamate is completely consumed. It is suggested that these reactions account for the antioxidant behavior of dithiocarbamates in a hydrocarbon system such as rubbers and petroleum products where the oxidizing agent is a hydroperoxide or some peroxygen compound which, if not destroyed, would in turn degrade the product to one of no utility.

We report selective formation of heterobimetallic PtII/CuI complexes that demonstrate how facile bond activation processes can be achieved by altering reactivity of common organoplatinum compounds through their interaction with another metal center. The interaction of the Cu center with Pt center and with a Pt-bound alkyl group increases the stability of PtMe2 towards undesired rollover cyclometalation. The presence of the CuI center also enables facile transmetalation from electron-deficient tetraarylborate [B(ArF)4]- anion and mild C-H bond cleavage of a terminal alkyne, which was not observed in the absence of an electrophilic Cu center. The DFT study indicates that the role of Cu center acts as a binding site for alkyne substrate, while activating its terminal C-H bond.

This article aims to identify hydroponic methods that are most effective and efficient in the context of agricultural systems, and provide educational assistance for students to become entrepreneurs by seeing the potential in the environment that can be used to conduct business opportunities. The method of this study used a qualitative approach. The result of this study showed that hydroponic plants are plants using very practical methods. This plant does not require a large area and its maintenance is so easy. This hydroponic planting technique is very suitable for use in areas that have lost a lot of land due to building or factory construction. This could be done in order to maintain the stability of nature where there is now a lot of vehicle pollution. Therefore, we also have to filter it by increasing the oxygen from green plants. In this study, we did not only discuss hydroponics, but also discussed entrepreneurship that we have learnt together with students at MA At-Tauhidiyah. Finally, they can be more productive in facing the Covid-19 pandemic.

The silver–pyrazole metal-complex electrode was investigated and used to determine free concentrations of pyrazole in the presence of Cd2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, or Co2+ ion, under different pyrazole/divalent metal concentration ratios. The stability constants of the complexes formed between these ions and pyrazole were calculated.

At present, the chemical mechanical polishing is the only means for global planarization of an integrated circuit. After the node of the integrated circuit processing comes into 45nm, the diameter of wafer is 300mm, and the copper interconnect layer is above the 10 layer. In the same time the new low dielectric constant materials are used to the integrated circuit processing. That requires the property of the slurry used in the chemical mechanical polishing stricter. So the domestic and international companies carry out a series research works. Based on investigation and research for many years, the new alkaline copper rough slurry has been developed by the teachers and students in the Hebei University of Technology. The slurry has advantages as disadvantages. The composition of cost-effective slurry is simple and the effect of chemical mechanical polishing is good. But its stability is poor. In order to improve the stability, the compositions of the slurry need to adjust. The new alkaline copper rough slurry composed by abrasive, surface, chelating agent, oxidizing agent and deionized water. Experiments investigate the influence rule of copper polishing rate by the concentration of abrasive, the content of surface, the content of oxidizing agent and the content of chelating agent. The conclusion is arrived. When the concentration of abrasive is 4%, the content of surfactant is 10ml/l, the content of chelating agent is 10ml/l and the content of oxidizing agent is 5ml/l, the copper polishing rate keep 5000 Å /min.

In an attempt to differentiate virulent and benign strains of B. nodosus, the extracellular proteolytic activity of these cultures was assayed with elastin, casein and hide powder azure, and the stability to heating at 55C was determined. Broth cultures of both strains hydrolysed 125I-labelled elastin, indicating that this activity is not a unique marker of virulence. When cultures were grown in Trypticase-arginine-serine broth medium modified by omitting Na2C03 and thioglycollic acid, the total proteolytic activity and its stability at 55C could be used to differentiate isolates causing virulent or benign footrot lesions. However, when other broth cultures were used, these parameters could no longer be used to make such a distinction. The proteases of a virulent and benign strain of B. nodosus were partially purified and characterized. Four to five closely related proteases were detected by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis at pH 88 in both types of isolates. The proteases are serine-type enzymes requiring a divalent metal ion such as calcium for activity. The proteases of the benign strain were somewhat less stable to heat than the enzymes of the virulent strain. Differences in the relative mobilities of the proteases of virulent and benign strains of B. nodosus, on electrophoresis at pH 8'8, suggest that this property may be used to distinguish virulent and benign strains.

2019 was a year full of turmoil for the KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) due to the revision of the KPK Law after 17 years of the KPK Law being in effect. Despite many rejections, the latest KPK Law was still passed in September 2019 so that it became Indonesia's positive law. Therefore, the statements of the problem in this research are: what is the cause of the KPK Law revision and what is the impact of law enforcement on corruption by the KPK after the ratification of the latest KPK Law. The purpose of this research is to find out the reasons for the revision of the KPK Law and the impact of the implementation of the latest KPK Law. The method used in this research is a normative juridical method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the research indicate that there are several weaknesses of the previous KPK Law which have an impact on the performance of the KPK so that it has not provided maximum results. In fact, regarding the impact of the enactment of the latest KPK Law, it has not given positive results so that it affects the stability of law enforcement for corruption. Therefore, there needs to be a good adaptation for the KPK and all related parties so that the latest KPK Law can run well.
