Background: Mandibular resection is part of the surgical operation for ameloblastoma cases, followed by mandibular reconstruction. Good masticatory status should be taken into account in determining the success of mandibular reconstruction. To assess mastication, some measuring instruments in the form of a questionnaire were created, one of which is the Tsuga questionnaire. At RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya, the most common resection performed is mandibular segmental resection with an LC type defect, where an assessment of mastication status had not been carried out in this case. Methods: This study is an analytic study to see the mastication status of patients after mandibular resection and reconstruction with a case-control study design. This study used primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of medical records of ameloblastoma patients who had undergone mandibular resection surgery with an LC type defect and underwent mandibular reconstruction at RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. Results: The total research subjects were 50 people, consisting of 26 men (52%) and 24 women (48%). From the results of the study, there was no statistically significant relationship between the age group and mastication status after mandibular reconstruction (p-value = 0.765) and also between gender and mastication status after mandibular reconstruction (p-value = 0.725). Meanwhile, between the type of reconstruction and mastication status, there was a statistically significant relationship (p-value = 0.011). It was also found that patients with the type of reconstruction using a plate bone graft had five times better mastication status than those who used the type of reconstruction using a plate. Conclusion: There is a statistically significant relationship between the type of reconstruction and mastication status. Mandibular reconstruction in postoperative ameloblastoma patients with mandibular segmental resection with LC type defects using plate bone graft has a better mastication status than those using plates without bone graft. Keywords: masticatory status, ameloblastoma, mandibular resection, mandibular reconstruction.

Introduction: Ameloblastoma is a benign epithelial neoplasm and accounts for 10% of all odontogenic tumors. It is characterized by a slow growth pattern and can grow to a very large size and cause severe facial deformities. Radical resection with K-wire reconstruction and plate bone graft is the most effective method but can cause deformity and malfunction of the patient's jaw. Mastication status is an important indicator to assess a good quality of life in ameloblastoma patients undergoing mandibular resection. Methods: data comes from primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of medical records of ameloblastoma patients who have undergone mandibular resection surgery with LC type defects and underwent mandibular reconstruction with Kirschner Wire or Plate-Bone Graft in the Head-Neck Surgery Division at dr. Soetomo Surabaya. This study is an analytic study to see the mastication status of patients after mandibular resection and reconstruction. The research design is a Case Control Study. Results: Based on a total of 80 research subjects consisting of 43 patients (53.8%) and 37 (46.3%). -60 years as many as 25 patients (31.3%), age 20 years as many as 18 patients (22.5%). and age 61 years as many as 5 patients (6.3%). Based on the type of reconstruction used, the results showed that 43 patients (53.8%) used plate bone graft and 37 patients (46.3%) used Kirschner wire. there is a relationship between the type of reconstruction used and the mastication status of the research subjects with p value = 0.004 (p <0.05). Conclusion: Patients who underwent reconstructive surgery with plate bone graft had 4 times better mastication status compared to patients who underwent reconstructive surgery using Kirschner wire. Keywords: mastication status, mandibular reconstruction, K-wire, plate bone graft.

Background: COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) is a contagious infection currently affecting people worldwide, including in Indonesia. The spread of this virus is extremely rapid, and the number of deaths continues to rise. Compliance with the health protocol is one method of preventing the spread of COVID-19. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between generation-Z (gen-Z) knowledge and attitudes toward the use of masks, keeping distance, and washing hands as a means of preventing COVID-19 in religious activities at houses of worship in Palembang. Method: The observational analytic cross-sectional research design with the study's population consists of generation Z members who participate in religious activities in places of worship. The cluster random sampling method yielded 147 respondents. The data collected are primary data obtained directly from the research subjects via a questionnaire and secondary data obtained from the Palembang City Ministry of Religion. They were using the Pearson chi-square test to analyze descriptive data. Results: According to the findings, 79 people (53.7%) out of 147 respondents have good knowledge, while 75 people have a good attitude (51% ). The results obtained a statistically significant p-value of 0.05, indicating a relationship between gene Z knowledge and attitude and adherence to the use of masks, keeping distance, and washing hands. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward COVID-19 infection prevention in Generation Z who participate in religious activities in Palembang City.

Introduction : Anxiety is one of the most non-motorized symptoms in patients with Parkinson's which greatly affects the quality of life, but in clinical practice it is often neglected. Anxiety in patients with Parkinson's can accelerate motor deterioration / disability and also increase mortality. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at the Neurology polyclinic Dr. M Djamil Padang from July to December 2020 in patients who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease (PD) by excluding secondary Parkinson's and a history of stroke. Anxiety was measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). The research subjects were 60 people. Univariate analysis to present baseline characteristics and bivariate tests assessed factors associated with anxiety and the relationship between variables. A p value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Most of the subjects were male (55%) with a mean age of 58.05 ± 9.7 years and disease duration of 6.35 ± 5.29 years. By examining the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS), it was obtained 38.3% of Parkinson's sufferers with anxiety. There is a significant relationship between marital status, duration of illness and degree of disease with the incidence of anxiety (p <0.05) and there is no significant relationship between age and sex with the incidence of anxiety in patients with Parkinson's. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between marital status, duration of illness and degree of disease with the incidence of anxiety in patients with Parkinson's and there is no relationship between age and sex with the incidence of anxiety in patients with Parkinson's.

The occurrence of landslides can not be separated from conditions that are prone to landslide movements such as steep slopes and high rainfall. The occurrence of landslides is also exacerbated by the indiscipline of the community in using land according to its function, which is called land conversion which can be a trigger factor for landslides. Conducting research on land use change is important to see the impact caused by human activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of land conversion on landslide hazard levels in Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo Regency. The method in this research was descriptive quantitative using primary data, namely field surveys and secondary data collection. The steps on this research were conducting field observations about the occurrence of land conversion and then retrieving level of landslide hazard at the observation point of land use change. Data analysis was performed using ordinal logistic regression. The result of the analysis showed that the p value (0.036) <0.05 which meant H0 was rejected. Thus, at the 95% confidence level it could be said that the variable of land use change affected the level of landslide hazard in Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo Regency. This output could be considered for the community to use the land according to its function.  Key words: Land Function Change; Landslide; Ordinal
