The new technologies of information and communication have opened up new possibilities for training in the field of manufacturing engineering. Information and communications technology contribute to flexible process of teaching and learning thanks to the ease of creating, processing and dissemination of content. They are also an opportunity to improve new learning environments, closer to actual production contexts. But to achieve an efficient process of learning, methodologies (that are based on ICT) should be adapted to the students’ characteristics, the contents and the context. This paper aims to design a model of teaching and learning from educational innovation with the use of information technologies applied to training Manufacturing Engineer using mobile devices as a teaching resource. The tool will be designed to self-education situated in learning contexts and incorporates different instructional strategies for student learning and teacher monitoring.

Abstract: Contemporary schools are provided with new technologies, including computers, so it is challenging its use in the teaching-learning process. The process of teaching and learning of geometry is one of the major difficulties in the current Mathematics Education. These are mainly related to the necessary update of didactics to match the process with existing technological advances in fields such as Information and Communication. The Y generation is understood as that born under the influence of the digital technologies. Now it’s represented by the young university students that created such a tight bond with the internet and its tools that uses them easily and frequently. Many works say that this generation of immediate young people accustomed to multitasking has developed a new kind of neuroplasticity entirely different of their antecessors and therefore possess peculiar habits and mechanisms of learning that should be respected and considered in the dynamics of teaching and learning, creating a pressure in the educational institutions to adequate in this reality. However, there are a few studies evaluating the real existence of these characteristics. Thus, we preset the conclusions of this descriptive qualitative project fulfilled with medicine students at Faculdade de Medicina de São José Rio Preto that aim to know how these students use digital technologies and the impact of their habits and behaviors regarding the involvement with technologies in their studies. The conclusion was that technologies are an important influence on student’s lifes, however continues to be one among several others, which allows the teachers to keep a fundamental role in the formation of these digital natives, especially helping and guiding them in the correct and full use of new technologies developed for learning.

The study aimed to map the critical success factors for the adoption of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the educational process of educational institutions. Problems related to the adoption of ICT in the educational system stem from the need to adapt to the use of new technologies in the internal processes of institutions and in teaching and learning processes, common to different profiles of educational institutions including of engineering courses with them specificities. To meet the objective, a review of the existing bibliography in the Scopus database was carried out to highlight articles relevant to the topic. Based on the review, 31 articles identified the main factors and effects that influence and impact the process of implementation and continued use of ICTs. The survey generated a broader view of the challenges faced in different dimensions, from SWOT framework, involving different stakeholders. It is suggested in future studies to engineering analyze deeper the complex scenario that involves the theme.

The purpose of this research is to make a synthesis of the literature on the implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational environment, taking into account the advantages and disadvantages, benefits and limitations, attempts to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the current needs generated by social distancing. Both the educational and technical components necessary to create and maintain Internet platforms for communication and evaluation are taken into account. The fact that new technologies related to artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing and blockchain are progressing rapidly makes Romania accelerate its digital transformation process in accordance with the requirements of the European Union. From now on, every person, especially young people, should constantly improve their digital skills throughout their lives. In fact, the progress in the implementation of technologies in education has been insignificant. Young people tend to use the Internet more to socialize and less to educate themselves. Improvement of results in youth education can be achieved only by innovative teaching systems, based on new services, technologies, competencies of teachers that set clear teaching objectives. It was noted that some aspects of this study were presented at the XX International Scientific and Practical Conference «Statistical Methods and Information Technologies for Analysis of Socio-Economic Development», which took place on May 21, 2020 at Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law.

This position paper on virtual learning in high school history argues for situating integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in an ethically defensible vision of education. Our main purpose is to establish a broad theoretical platform to enable critique of new technologies in history classrooms. However, we also argue in favor of embracing ICT integration within a theoretical framework that places teaching and learning as the driving force behind adopting new technologies. First, we remind history teachers in computer-supported classrooms that their teaching is grounded in educational aims and in well-formulated ideas about what constitutes educative experiences. We place the development of the historical mindedness of the student at the core of educational aims in history teaching. Further, it is our contention that high school history modules should become steeped in a vision of education that recognizes its cultural-psychological dimensions. This means dovetailing the construction of content knowledge with teaching the cultural practices of historians and the functions of history. Key words: technologies of information and communication, history teaching and learning, historical mindedness, cultural psychology, educative experiences

The use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in schools is now commonplace and, for many, an unquestionable part of everyday teaching and learning. But detailed studies of the use of ICT in classroom-based music education are rare. This article explores how pupils aged between 11 and 16 used ICT to create and perform music in new ways. Working as a teacher-researcher, the author used the methodologies of action research and case study to investigate how pupils engage with and organise sounds with ICT.

The transformations in educational environments due to the immersion of information and communication technologies (ICT) make it necessary to analyze the limits and possibilities of the assessment of the virtual training process. This paper presents an analysis of the meanings of ICT-mediated assessment, establishing what kinds of knowledge are suitable for this type of evaluation, and the challenges and possibilities of virtual tools. For this, we present a systematic review of ICT-mediated evaluation and assessment according to the educational paradigms and their implementation. We highlight that contemporary pedagogical models and their implementation in ICT mediation tools show a trend towards quantitative and summative valuation. The commonly used learning management systems (LMS) include several types of questions oriented to quantitative evaluation, with multiple-choice being the most common. However, new technological approaches like gamification, virtual reality and mobile learning open new assessment possibilities. The ICT educational platforms and new technologies demand new skills for all educational actors, such as digital literacy.
