Setting the late poured band is to solve different settlement between high-rise buildings and to settle the reinforced concrete body temperature--contraction stress. In addition, it effectively avoids the harmful cracks caused by the reinforced concrete body. So it is vital to set the late poured band and organize the correct construction. This paper aims at elaborating types of post pouring belt, construction preparation, construction technique, quality and so on.

On the basis of the theoretical study and application of ordinary steel-encased concrete composite beam, this paper will focus on a new high-strength steel-encased concrete composite beam, and mainly studies high-performance steel Q420 and Q460, as well as high-strength concrete C60 and C80. Besides, an experimental study of 5 simply-supported beams is made, and the load-deflection curves of new SCCB are analyzed. The calculation formula of load which changes with depth of section and bending strength of the cross section is also analyzed. It is suggested that the calculated results announced should be identical with the experimental results.

Aiming at the situation in some Chinese auto companies that the workload of body welding quality inspection is high and the sample size is extremely small, a brand-new CUSUM Control Chart for variance monitoring is proposed in the paper to realize the effective quality control in body welding variance, whose principle is to use variance statistics based on Queensberry transformation Φ-1(G((n-1) St2/σ02)) to monitor infinitely small variances in the process of body welding. Evaluation instance results show that, compared with traditional CUSUM control chart, EWMA control chart and weighted CUSUM control chart, the proposed CUSUM control chart based on variance monitoring is more sensitive to the abnormal variation fluctuation and can detect the abnormity of quality variation earlier.

In this Paper, the analysis of simply supported laminated composite beam having uniformly distributed load is performed. The solutions obtained in the form of the displacements and stresses for different layered cross ply laminated composite simply supported beams subjected uniformly distributed to load. Different aspect ratio consider for different results in terms of displacement, bending stress and shear stresses. The shear stresses are calculated with the help of equilibrium equation and constitutive relationship. Using displacement field including trigonometric function of laminated composite beams are derived from virtual displacement principle. There are axial displacement, transverse displacement, bending stress and shear stresses. In addition, Euler-Bernoulli (ETB), First order shear deformation beam theory (FSDT), Higher order shear deformation beam theory (HSDT) and Hyperbolic shear deformation beam theory (HYSDT) solution have been made for comparison and better accuracy of solutions and results of static analyses of laminated composite beams for simply supported laminated composite beam.

Welding seam tracking precision is a key factor influencing welding quality for master-slave robot remote welding system. However, it does not satisfy the welding requirement due to significant noises. To eliminate the influence of noises upon the seam tracking precision and improve the seam tracking precision, a master-slave robot remote welding system was built and Kalman filtering (KF) was applied to the seam tracking process. The experimental results show that the KF eliminated the influence of noises upon the seam tracking precision and improved the seam tracking precision.

The present investigation focuses on the response of simply supported reinforced concrete rectangular-section beams with multiple openings of different sizes, numbers, and geometrical configurations. The advantages of the reinforcement concrete beams with multiple opening are mainly, practical benefit including decreasing the floor heights due to passage of the utilities through the beam rather than the passage beneath it, and constructional benefit that includes the reduction of the self-weight of structure resulting due to the reduction of the dead load that achieves economic design. To optimize beam self-weight with its ultimate resistance capacity, ten reinforced concrete beams having a length, width, and depth of 2700, 100, and 400 mm, respectively were fabricated and tested as simply supported beams under one incremental concentrated load at mid-span until failure. The design parameters were the configuration and size of openings. Three main groups categorized experimental beams comprise the same area of openings and steel reinforcement details but differ in configurations. Three different shapes of openings were considered, mainly, rectangular, parallelogram, and circular. The experimental results indicate that, the beams with circular openings more efficient than the other configurations in ultimate load capacity and beams stiffness whereas, the beams with parallelogram openings were better than the beams with rectangular openings. Commonly, it was observed that the reduction in ultimate load capacity, for beams of group I, II, and III compared to the reference solid beam ranged between (75 to 93%), (65 to 93%), and (70 to 79%) respectively.

Over the past decade, several types of composite slim floor constructions have been used in multi-storey buildings in Lithuania. In order to study the efficiency of composite beam application in steel-framed multi-storey buildings, Thorbeam (A1), Deltabeam (A2), slim floor beam (A3) and asymmetric slim floor beam (A4) were chosen and evaluated according to nine assessment criteria (beam cost (K1), initial preparation on site (K2), installation time (K3), complexity of installation technology (K4), labour costs (K5), fire resistance (K6), load bearing capacity (K7), beam versatility (K8), and availability of beams (K9)). First, the significance of the rating criteria was selected and the order of the ranking criteria was obtained (K1˃K7˃K3˃K6˃K4˃K5˃K2˃K8˃K9) by means of a survey questionnaire. Second, the beams were ranked according to the points given by the questionnaire respondents as follows: 160 points were given to A2, 144 points to A1, 129 points to A4, and 111 points to A3. Deltabeam is considered to be the most rational alternative of the four beams compared. Calculations done using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) analysis method revealed that composite beam A2 was the best slim floor structure alternative for an eight-storey high-rise commercial residential building frame, A1 ranked second, A4 ranked third, and A3 ranked fourth. In addition, the four composite beams were compared to a reinforced concrete beam (A5) according to three assessment criteria (beam cost including installation (C1), beam self-weight (C2) and fire resistance (C3)). Deltabeam was found to be efficient for use as a slim floor structure in a multi-story building due to having the lowest cost, including installation, and self-weight, and the highest fire resistance compared to other composite beams studied. Although Deltabeams are 1.4 times more expensive than reinforced concrete beams, including installation costs, they save about 2.5% of the building’s height compared to reinforced concrete beams.
