<p>Foreign language teaching is a bilateral process in which both the teacher and students must play their roles effectively. However, lack of interaction is the problem many EFL teachers in China face. To make the teaching more effective, negotiation in the classroom becomes a must. This paper, based on the current situation of English teaching in China, probes into negotiation mechanism in EFL classroom and provides suggestions on how to apply negotiation mechanism in EFL classroom in China.</p>

From the theoretical basis of the management in teaching at universities in general and the management in innovation methods in particular, the article’s aims to assess the current situation of the management in innovation English teaching methods  at People’s Police Universities  - especially the planning with 49 leaders and 119 lecturers to evaluate the advantages, limitations and causes of limitations. The results of the study showed that the subject of the management revealed revealed a limitation in knowledge, capacity to manage the innovation of teaching methods and the evaluation results between the level of agreement and the level of practice showed a large difference in the contents of the planning stage. From the results, the article also presents a proposal for measures to improve the effectiveness of planning in the management to innovate English teaching methods at People’s Police Universities.

The rapid development of information technology has provided a new opportunity for the development of college English teaching in China. This paper aims to explore the construction of monitoring system of autonomous learning for college English. Dynamic development of autonomous learning was explained briefly. It also discussed connotation and features of the monitoring of autonomous learning. Finally, the monitoring system of autonomous learning was created after analyzing the current situation of students’ autonomous learning activities. It points out that interaction between inner and external monitoring system is beneficial to the progress for English learners; Joint efforts of all of the elements in the system contribute to the efficiency of college English teaching.

The Future

Intercultural communicative competence is a prerequisite for students in senior high school to have a smooth communication with foreigners in the future. This paper discusses the current situation of students’ ICC through questionnaires and then analyzes students’ ICC problems respectively. In doing so, this paper offers some tentative teaching methods and hopes to cultivate students’ intercultural communicative competence under the guidance of the China’s Standards of English Ability.

This article takes college English blending teaching in Hetao College as an example to analyze the concept of case teaching method under OBE mode. The author combines the application value of the case teaching method under the OBE mode and the current research on the current situation of computer English teaching to decompose the learning task. This article studies how to choose suitable teaching cases, how to guide students do well teamwork, how to improve the comprehensiveness of the assessment system, and how to reverse design the curriculum system. The author’s purpose is to enhance the effectiveness of college English classroom teaching and enhance students’ comprehensive learning ability.
