The paper addresses the synthesis of fuzzy controllers for computerized control system of the waste heat energy (WHE) utilization plants that operate with the thermoacoustic engine (TAE). Based on the analysis of existing systems, the authors present the main tasks of the synthesized control system, describe its structure and main components. Created system is then tested on the experimental thermoacoustic installation. Using the data obtained authors synthesize the mathematical model of thermoacoustic plant and describe the methodology of its control by the adjustments in resonator length of thermoacoustic device. Using the suggested approach authors design a number of conventional discrete and fuzzy controllers and provide the comparative analysis of quality indicators of the designed control systems transient responses.

Abstract The paper is devoted to consideration of the problem of constructing a discrete-continuous decentralized nonlinear combined control system for two-link robotic manipulator with restrictions in control signals. The mathematical model of the manipulator is presented as a two-channel dynamic plant with nonlinear cross-links. As methods for solving this problem V. M. Popov’s hyperstability criterion and the conditions of L-dissipativity are used. With the help of simulation, the quality of the proposed control system is shown. The results obtained in article may be useful for construction the control systems for manipulators with many degrees of freedom and also for control various mechanical systems.

In order to help students be more interested in learning about programming both at school and at home, we have designed educational toys in the form of humanoid robot. In this paper, intelligent robot movement control systems are developed, thus the students can interact directly and learn programming on human robots. For building a low-cost humanoid robot, we modified low-cost robot toy, that is Robosapien from Wowwee by embbeding a control system. The control system is developed based on Raspberry Pi Zero W, which enables us to control Robosapien's movements wirelessly. This learning media is expected to enhance the student’s spirit of learning, especially in the field of robotics and programming. The main contribution of the research is the description and analysis of various design decisions during the development of this humanoid robot. In addition, it provides information about the main components for development and example for interacting with robots as learning media.

Fuzzy control has a distinctive feature in that it can incorporate experts' control rules using linguistic expressions. The authors have presented various types of fuzzy neural networks (FNNs) called Type I-V. The FNNs can automatically identify the fuzzy rules and tune the membership functions of fuzzy controllers by utilizing the learning capability of neural networks. In particular, the Type IV FNN has a simple structure and can express the identified fuzzy rules linguistically. The authors have also proposed a method to describe the behavior of fuzzy control systems based on the fuzzy models. The method can comprehensively express the dynamic behavior of fuzzy control systems and makes easy to know how to modify the fuzzy controllers. This paper studies an acquisition of fuzzy controller for an inverted pendulum using the Type IV FNNs and presents a new method for describing of the behavior of the fuzzy control system. The new method expresses the dynamic ehavior of the fuzzy control system more clearly by incorporating the change of the output of the controlled object. This new rule-to-rule mapping method enables easy modification of the fuzzy control rules. The experimental results illustrate that the method is effective in designing the fuzzy controllers having good performance.

LaB6 emitters are becoming increasingly popular as direct replacements for tungsten filaments in the electron guns of modern electron-beam instruments. These emitters offer order of magnitude increases in beam brightness, and, with appropriate care in operation, a corresponding increase in source lifetime. They are, however, an order of magnitude more expensive, and may be easily damaged (by improper vacuum conditions and thermal shock) during saturation/desaturation operations. These operations typically require several minutes of an operator's attention, which becomes tedious and subject to error, particularly since the emitter must be cooled during sample exchanges to minimize damage from random vacuum excursions. We have designed a control system for LaBg emitters which relieves the operator of the necessity for manually controlling the emitter power, minimizes the danger of accidental improper operation, and makes the use of these emitters routine on multi-user instruments.Figure 1 is a block schematic of the main components of the control system, and Figure 2 shows the control box.

This research is a causality study with the title "Effect of Government Internal Control Systems and Employee Competence on the Performance of Government Agencies in Karimun Regency." The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of the Government's Internal Control System on the performance of Karimun Regency government agencies and to determine the effect of employee competence on the performance of Karimun Regency government agencies. Data collection using a questionnaire where the questionnaire contained questions about the Government's Internal Control System, employee competencies and agency performance. Data were tested using multiple linear regression statistical tests. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the governmental internal control system has a significant positive effect on Government Agency Performance with the results of statistical tests that show a sig value of 0.016 <0.05 (alpha 5%). Employee Competency has a significant positive effect on Government Performance with the results of statistical tests showing a sig value of 0,000.
