Abstract Objectives: To evaluate the parallelism of natural maxillary occlusal plane with inter-pupillary line and ala-tragus line among dentate subjects. To evaluate anatomic relationship of natural mandibular occlusal plane with retromolar pad among dentate subjects Methodology: Front and profile photographs of 109 students of Fatima Jinnah Dental College with age ranging from 20 to 28 years were taken while holding the camper’s plane against the maxillary occlusal plane. The study was completed in six months. Photographs were imported in software AutoCAD(2017). An interpupillary line was drawn and angle with Camper’s plane was measured. On both profile pictures, line were drawn from base of the ala to the three different points on tragus (superior, middle and inferior). The angle between ala-tragus line and camper’s plane were measured. Intra-orally, height of the mandibular occlusal plane in relation to the retromolar pad was evaluated using a stainless steel scale. Data was analyzed using SPSS Version 23. Student’s paired sample t test and Pearson’s correlation coefficient were applied. Results: Horizontal parallelism of occlusal plane with inter-pupillary line was observed (mean angle 1.17 ±1.27). The angle between the occlusal plane and the inferior ala-tragus line was 4.25 and 4.50 degrees on right and left side, respectively. Intraorally, mandibular occlusal plane coincided with inferior (44%)  and middle third (44%)  of the retromolar pad. Conclusions: Inter-pupillary line and retromolar pad area (middle & inferior third) should be used as a guide in determination of plane of occlusion. Continuous...

The researches in the cutting domain have as purpose the cutting process economic optimization. This paper studies the cutting tool wear at drilling of the stainless steel X20Cr13. The experimental data and their subsequent processing represent the original contribution of the authors to the estimation of polytropic exponents and to the assessment in terms of structure of the calculus relation of the cutting tool wear. The obtained relationship of the cutting tool wear on the tool putting surface at drilling of the steel X20Cr13 permits the determination of the wear on the putting surface, in the case of a couple: stainless steel X20Cr13 - Rp5 high-speed spiral drill, depending on the work parameters and the cutting conditions. Putting the condition of wear limitation, from the obtained relation, the cutting speeds are exactly given. The paper also contains graphs for the variation of the tool wear with parameters of the cutting technology. The results can be taken into consideration in the educational studies and in the theoretical technical research. They can be implemented in the manufacturing activity.

Clad sheets are now widely used in a wide variety of industrial practices, however, determination of deformation characteristics are difficult. In this research, the unique deformation characteristics and properties of aluminum-clad stainless steel sheets produced by hot rolling process are discussed. The tensile test and characteristics of necking appearing on the clad sheet and the separate materials composing the clad sheet are examined. The results of the experiments for the stress-strain curves of the separate materials compared well with the estimated values. The stress-strain relationship of the separate materials can thus be determined from the tensile test of clad sheet.

Background: Determining occlusal plane is challenging and difficult aspect during complete removable partial denture prosthesis rehabilitation. Numerous soft tissue landmarks like commissures of the mouth by Gillis in 1933, parotid papilla by P. F. Foley and G. H. Latta in 1985, height of the retromolar pad, the lateral borders of the tongue etc. had been proposed to assist clinician for determining the occlusal plane. No universally accepted reliable anatomical measurement has been proposed to assist in determining of occlusion plane for different ethnic groups in context to Nepal. Material & Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in the 60 dentate subjects visiting Nobel Medical College, Nepal, from February 2019 to July 2019. A customized occlusal plane relator was used to evaluate relative parallelism between occlusal plane and alatragal line with respect to different borders of tragus. All the data were collected and statistically analyzed. Results: Maxillary occlusal plane was found to be parallel with the line drawn from ala of the nose to the middle of tragus in 66.66%, followed by inferior border of tragus in 18.33% with the least parallelism in superior border of tragus 15%. Relationship of maxillary occlusal plane with alatragal line was not statistically significant among Aryans and Mongolian ethnicity Conclusion: This study showed line joining ala of the nose and middle border of tragus is parallel to maxillary occlusal plane. And no difference was found for Aryan & Mongolian ethnicity in relation to alatragal line and maxillary occlusal plane.

STEM coupled with the optical system was used for the investigation of the early oxidation on the surface of Cr. Cr thin films (30 – 1000Å) were prepared by evaporation onto the polished or air-cleaved NaCl substrates at room temperature and 45°C in a vacuum of 10−6 Torr with an evaporation speed 0.3Å/sec. Rather thick specimens (200 – 1000Å) with various preferred orientations were used for the investigation of the oxidation at moderately high temperature (600 − 1100°C). Selected area diffraction patterns in these specimens are usually very much complicated by the existence of the different kinds of oxides and their multiple twinning. The determination of the epitaxial orientation relationship of the oxides formed on the Cr surface was made possible by intensive use of the optical system and microdiffraction techniques. Prior to the formation of the known rhombohedral Cr2O3, a thin spinel oxide, probably analogous to γ -Al203 or γ -Fe203, was formed. Fig. 1a shows the distinct epitaxial growth of the spinel (001) as well as the rhombohedral (125) on the well-oriented Cr(001) surface. In the case of the Cr specimen with the (001) preferred orientation (Fig. 1b), the rings explainable by spinel structure appeared as well as the well defined epitaxial spots of the spinel (001). The microdif fraction from 20A areas (Fig. 2a) clearly shows the same pattern as Fig. Ia with the weaker oxide spots among the more intense Cr spots, indicating that the thickness of the oxide is much less than that of Cr. The rhombohedral Cr2O3 was nucleated preferably at the Cr(011) sites provided by the polycrystalline nature of the present specimens with the relation Cr2O3 (001)//Cr(011), and by further oxidation it grew into full coverage of the rest of the Cr surface with the orientation determined by the initial nucleation.

The question of compensation in addition to sensitive to be driving someone to worl due to an effect on morale and discipline employees. Therefore , any  agency or any organization should be able to provide compensation equal to the workload  to create a workforce that efficient and effective manner can be realized. Amaore than that, the company’s goal to improve performance. Performance assessment is a subjective process that involves human judgments. Thus, performance assessment is very likely wrong and very easily influonced by sources that are not actual, so it must be taken into account and considered reasinable. Frformance appraisals are considered  to meet the target if it has a good impact on new employees who rated their performance. Simple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 12:00 data processing obtained tegression equation Y = 0,487 X 74 + with an explanation of X = award, 74 = constant, 0.487 = coefficient awards, and Y = performance based on simple linear regression equation in case of increase of one unit of the  performance award will be increased 0.487 units. If company policy negates the performance award will remain at a constant rate (74) units . (A) Test results obtained thitung significant constants of (12.574) > t table for (1.960 then reject Ho constanta significant meaning. (B) significant Test award coefficient t count the results obtained by (2.164)> t table foe (1.96) then reject Ho the mean coeffent of appreciation affect the performance . (C) correlation coefficient analysis is done by calculating the product moment corration (pearson)  to test  whether or not a strong  relationship between the variables X  dan Y , based on the results of cakculations with SPSS  table valuse obtained by calculating the  correlation coefficient r (0.3100> r on the table for a = 0,05 (0.291) then reject Ho, which means there is a relationship of respect for performance. When we enter these valuse in the table shows the interpretation of the correlation coefficient between the interval from 0.20 to 0.399 which has a low relationship

Vertical axis wind turbine technology has been applied last years, very long after horizontal axis wind turbine technology. Aerodynamic problems of vertical axis wind machines are discussible. An important problem is the determination of the incidence law in the interaction between wind and rotor blades. The focus of the work is to establish equations of the incidence depending on the blade azimuth, and to solve them. From these results, aerodynamic torques and power can be calculated. The incidence angle is a parameter of velocity triangle, and both the factors depend not only on the blade azimuth but also on the ratio of rotational speed and horizontal speed. The built computational program allows theoretically selecting the relationship of geometric parameters of wind turbine in accordance with requirements on power, wind speed and installation conditions.
