This paper reviews and analyzes studies that are focused on Internet gambling with the use of behavioural tracking and big data to identify gambling behaviour. The behaviour of gamblers has been extensively studied and much has been published on the subject. The vast majority of research has relied on self-reported gambling behaviour or case study research. With the advent of the Internet, however, it has become possible for researchers to remotely study the real behaviour of gamblers. The goal has been to empirically describe playing behaviour in several conditions and contexts. Existing research, conducted since the 2000s, focuses on several forms of gambling such as sports betting, casino, poker, and lottery, but there is still only a concise body of research on gambling behaviour with the use of Internet gambling tracking data. Most studies are based on the same databases, meaning that a few companies and websites were the basis for most of the research produced so far. It is important to explore new sources of information, methodologies, and approaches to enrich discussion and contribute to a better understanding of this field. The empirical analysis of gambling behaviour with the use of tracking data was found to greatly contribute to the understanding of player behaviour, despite existing limitations and problems. Considering that Internet gambling behavioural tracking is still a fairly recent phenomenon, much can still be done to further develop this field of research.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of the introduction of private label (PL) foods upon the governance of the food supply chains. Design/methodology/approach – The authors conducted a multi-case study research examining the launch and development of PL cheeses in four large national-wide retail chains. The paper focused on the category of Products of Designated Origin (PDO) cheeses, including the popular feta cheese. Data collection involved semi-structured interviews and secondary sources of information. Data analysis involved single-case and within-case analyses. Findings – There is a strong motive to launch and develop PL cheeses due to increasing consumer demand. Retailers choose suppliers based on criteria such as: compliance to quality assurance standards, modernisation of processing facilities, implementation of legislation, credibility, experience, and reputation. Retailers use contracts and prefer small suppliers than medium-sized companies. Supply chain governance turns from market to hierarchy status, which performs better in terms of supply chain cost, food quality, and consumer satisfaction. The structure of food industry is also affected by pressure put on medium-sized food companies. Research limitations/implications – The paper is based on a multiple case study design that does not provide static generalisations, yet it offers a stepping stone to building new theory about supply chain governance, how it evolves and its effects on supply chain performance. Practical implications – The introduction of PL cheeses favours small and dynamic cheese processing units willing to adopt retailer standards and prices over larger units, which poses a real threat to the survival of regional-wide food companies. Originality/value – Few studies have examined how supply chain governance evolves and what triggers a change in governance structures.

Purpose of the study: This study aims to reveal the social security of traditional fishers in Salemo Island and West Rangas, South Sulawesi Province. Methodology: The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a type of case study research. The research location was determined purposively, namely on Salemo Island, and West Rangas. Informants chose purposively, those who deserve used as sources of information. Data collection by in-depth interviews and observations, collect community ideas collectively with a Group Discussion Forum. Data collected and then reduced to the main findings following the focus of research. Main Findings: The utilization of income for social security’s is done by helping small fishers by providing loans for money to buy the equipment needed, among other anglers, borrowing mechanisms, especially fishermen who open businesses selling goods for daily necessities. Social securities are still running, such as fishers get a lot of results from the sea handing out their fish. Applications of this study: The implications of this research can be a social function in overcoming the basic needs of community members to be used as a strengthening of the nation's character. Salemo Island fishers traditionally use local assets to use the environmentally friendly fishing gear as a form of local cultural wisdom of coastal communities. Novelty/Originality of this study: The use of environmentally friendly fishing gear by Salemo Island fishers needs to be used as a model to be applied to other fishing communities, to avoid using explosives (fish bombs, anesthesia, and trawl) to catch fish.

This study examined the influence of information sources and message content on COVID-19 in fear-arousal among boda boda riders in Nairobi County, Kenya. Little if any research has explored the influence of information sources and message content on fear arousal among boda boda riders, hence a gap that needed to be filled. The study was guided by the agenda-setting and framing theories. Case study research design was utilized. Convenience sampling was used to identify the study respondents. Telephone interviews were used to collect data. Qualitative data obtained through interviews was manually transcribed, coded and analyzed for themes. Findings revealed that television and radio were the main sources of information on the COVID-19 pandemic. Messages from information sources contained frightening phrases such as, “Coronavirus kills,” “COVID-19 is a deadly disease,” “Coronavirus is a dangerous disease,” and “The virus is highly contagious.” Information sources and message content on COVID-19, therefore, aroused high levels of fear among boda boda riders. The study recommended that journalists should exercise caution and discretion, when covering news stories on infectious disease outbreaks. Moreover, news on contagions should be reported ethically and objectively. This will prevent the arousal of too much fear, which may result to mental breakdown among the receivers of the messages.

This paper discusses the challenges of records management that arise from the use of adapted buildings as records centres in Zimbabwe, despite the advantages of using such buildings. A qualitative research approach was used as well as a case study research design. Data were collected from seven officers of the Gweru Records Centre through semi-structured interviews. Personal observation was used to triangulate findings from interviews. It was found that the use of adapted buildings as records centres was a cheaper and quicker way of establishing records centres throughout the country. However, a number of preservation, security and management challenges cropped up as the conditions of the buildings and the environment of the adapted buildings were not conducive to the proper and professional management of records. This study is important in that it explores the prospects and challenges of using adapted buildings as records centres in Zimbabwe, an area that has not been researched by many authors. This provokes archival authorities and the government to seriously consider establishing purpose-built records and archival centres.
