A new species of scarab beetle, Termitotrox icarus sp. nov., is described from central Myanmar, being the third representative of the genus Termitotrox Reichensperger, 1915 from the Indo-Chinese Subregion of the Oriental Region. The majority of the type series was collected from the walls of fungus garden chambers built in the nests of the termite Odontotermes proformosanus Ahmad, 1965. Termitotrox icarus sp. nov. can be easily distinguished from the known Termitotrox as it possesses wing-shaped trichomes on the elytra, the more elongate habitus shape in dorsal view, the basomedian section of pronotum not protruding backwards, a pair of distinct costae on the pronotal basomedian section strongly developed, a median costa on anterior pronotal margin strongly developed, the elytral striae narrower than interstriae, the lack of trichomes at the base of elytral sutural stria, and a mid-range body length of 1.5–1.9 mm. The ‘carrying behavior’ by the host termites is reported for the first time for Termitotrox and a strategy for the dispersal of flightless termitophilous scarabs is hypothesized.

Currently, 16 species of the genus Ooceraea Roger, 1862 are known from the Oriental, Australian and Oceanian realms, but no identified species have ever been recorded from Thailand. Here Ooceraea siamensis sp. n. is described from Thailand based on the worker and dealate queen. The new species is most similar to O. biroi (Forel, 1907), a species widely distributed across tropical and subtropical regions of the world, but can be distinguished from the latter by postpetiole slightly longer than broad in dorsal view (clearly shorter than broad in O. biroi), by foveae on first gastral tergite and sternite denser and coarser (weak in O. biroi), and by smaller size (head width in new species 0.33–0.38 mm while in O. biroi 0.46–0.49 mm). The type series of the new species was collected from a colony in soil and partly in a coconut seed. Ooceraea duadridentata Yamada, Luong et Eguchi, 2018 is recorded from Thailand for the first time.

Eight species in the Priocnemis hyalinata species-group are reviewed. The species-group is recorded from Oriental Region for the first time, and one new species, Priocnemis (Priocnemis) yunnanensis Loktionov, Lelej & Xu, sp. nov. (China: Yunnan) is described and illustrated. The lectotype of Salius (Priocnemis) unicolor Gussakovskij is designated. The distribution of P. (P.) hyalinata (Fabricius), P. (P.) fennica Haupt and P. (P.) unicolor (Gussakovskij) is clarified and enlarged within Russia. Keys to species for males and females are given.

The present study is based on oribatid mite materials (Acari, Oribatida) collected from Taiwan in 2017. A list of identified taxa, including 109 species/subspecies, 84 genera and 48 families, is presented; of these, 50 species/subspecies, 28 genera and 7 families are recorded for the first time in the fauna of this country, and 8 species and 1 genus are recorded for the first time in the Oriental region. A new species belonging to the genus Lohmannia (Lohmanniidae) is described from soil of the Yangmingshan National Park; L. douhua Ermilov sp. nov. differs from L. pseudoturcmenica Ermilov, 2017 by the broadly phylliform posterior exobothridial setae, narrowly phylliform rostral, epimeral and genital setae and clearly longer notogastral setae. An identification key to the known species of Lohmannia from the Oriental region is presented.

Two of the three species recorded in this paper (Ceratonereis scotiae sp. n. and Nereis diversicolor O. F. Müller) were collected some years ago, but hitherto their occurrence has not been noted. The third (Tharyx marioni (Saint-Joseph)) was collected recently for the first time in Canadian waters.

A series of terrestrial Omicrini collected in Sulawesi during the Project Wallace expedition was studied. The recorded species belong to Omicrogiton d'Orchymont, Paromicrus Scott, Aculomicrus Smetana, Noteropagus d'Orchymont and to a new genus, Stanmalcolmia, for a new species: S. sulawesiensis. Five new species of Paromicrus are described: P. bicarinatus, P. flexus, P. punctulatus, P. scutulatus, and P. wallacei. Paromicrus bryanti d'Orchymont, P. championi d'Orchymont and P. scotti d'Orchymont are redescribed; a key is given to the examined Paromicrus. A list of the known species of Paromicrus is given. Aculomicrus is new for the Oriental region, and A. brendelli, sp. nov. is described; a key to the known species of Aculomicrus is given. Aculomicrus is likely to be another example of transPacific distribution and a discussion on its zoogeography is provided. The aedeagi and female ectodermal genitalia are figured for each species when they are available. The aedeagus of A. pusio Smetana, from Puerto Rico, is figured for the first time.*Project Wallace Publication No. 138.

Fishermen caught a different eel species at night with hook on July 7, 2019 (36°48'59.21"N: 30°38'23.44"E). This fish has not been seen before in the Gulf of Antalya. This fish was identified as Pisodonophis semicinctus (Richardson, 1848). With the identification of this fish, a new species was added to the fish fauna of the Gulf of Antalya.  In the present paper, we reported P. semicinctus for the first time from the Gulf of Antalya, Turkey (North-Eastern Mediterranean), for the third time from marine waters of Turkey. Keywords: Occurence; Pisodonophis semicinctus; the Gulf of Antalya

Protoplotina ambigua sp. n. (Coccinellidae: Plotinini) from the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu is described and illustrated. This is the third species of the genus reported from India. Immature stages of the genus Protoplotina are briefly described and illustrated for the first time with notes on host association. A revised key to the known species of the genus is also included.

Nine species of Tobrilus in Canada, including three new species, are described and illustrated. Tobrilus filipjevi n. sp. differs from T. longus by the greater distance between the pocket teeth and by the longer spicules. Tobrilus parapellucidus n. sp. differs from T. pellucidus by the more posterior vulva, male with 10 supplements, and by the ductus ejaculatorius beginning closer to supplement 1. Tobrilus sablensis n. sp. differs from T. allophysis by having greater body length, larger stoma, and greater distance between the pocket teeth in the female. In the male the papillae are absent between supplements and the spicules are longer. The female of T. hopei is described for the first time and has a concentric vaginal musculature similar to T. longus, but differs by greater body length and more widely spaced pocket teeth. Other species in Canada include T. aberrans, T. pellucidus, T. hopei, T. longicaudatus, T. longus, and T. breviductus. Keys to the Canadian males and females are provided. The species T. longicaudatus is proposed as a new species and named T. gagarini n. sp.

A new species of the genus Meristolohmannia (Oribatida: Lohmanniidae) is described from litter of a secondary forest in Macao of southern China; M. macaoensis Ermilov sp. nov. differs from M. abbreviata Chen, Yang & Xie, 2010 by the comparatively longer rostral setae than the lamellar, interlamellar and posterior exobothridial setae, bothridial setae with well-developed branches, reticulate notogaster surface, number and morphology of subcapitular setae, nine pairs of genital setae and the smaller body size. An identification key to the known species of Meristolohmannia is provided. Lohmannia (Lohmannia) corallium Nakatamari, 1982 is recorded in the Oriental region for the first time; its supplementary description is provided based on material from China, and the revised diagnostic traits for this species are also proposed.

The genus Euhemicera Ando, 1996 (Tenebrionidae: Cnodalonini) is recorded from Myanmar for the first time. The newly identified representatives of this genus are described herein as Euhemicera amicorum sp. n.. An updated species catalogue of Euhemicera with distributional data is provided. Currently, one hundred species are known to represent this genus. Available data reveals that Euhemicera is widely distributed throughout the oriental region, with the highest diversity in South East Asia.
