As is known, there are various economies on the Eurasian continent area, which differ from each other by structure, potential and growth performance. Region's development depends on those economies growth and relationship between them. Viewed from this perspective, it’s become actual for Kyrgyzstan to research and evaluate the importance of manufacturing industry contribution to the economy. Given article aimed to study the reached stage in the process of manufacturing industry development, the position in the economy and economic policy tools, recommendations that will bring solutions to the identified problems. Research based on input-output analysis and as basic data used input-output tables prepared for the year 2005 and 2008 by the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyz Republic. In the paper calculated the linkages among the industrial sector, direct and indirect sectoral demands, defining key sector for Kyrgyzstan’s Economy and explained sectoral analysis of production structure. For a better assessment of manufacturing industry, in paper discussed its structure, properties, dynamic aspects of change. The results are as follows: manufacturing industry inadequate in the economy and externally dependent; economy-wide inter-sectoral interaction is weak; manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products; manufacture of chemical products; manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products; manufacture fabricated metal products; manufacture of machinery and equipment calculated as key sectors. Also they are Kyrgyzstan's economy locomotive for economic growth among the other sectors. Therefore, realization of investments will stimulate the production capacity increase of manufacturing industry, strengthening of intersectoral relationships and stable macro-economic planning are important for achieve economic growth.

Structural changes in economy become the important goal of economic development in the developing countries. During the ongoing globalization process, the successful execution of special analysis and approaches caused the growing interest in macroeconomic planning and development policies. In this context, input-output analysis is emerging as an alternative research method among the other economic planning methods. The purpose of the present paper is to describe the structural changes in production, compare the structural parameteres of production for the years 2005-2009, investigate the sources of differences and give recommendations that will bring solutions to the problems. Research is based on input-output analysis and used input-output tables prepared for the years 2005 and 2009 by The National Statistical Committee Kyrgyz Republic. Industrial structure dependency, production techniques, efficiency of input usage, were calculated in this paper. The results are as follows: there were found some sub-sectors in agriculture, manufacturing and service sector, on which economy depends on; equal efficiency of production techniques and input usage. It is notable that for achieving economic growth, economy needed investments to stimulate the production capacity, which strengthening inter-sectoral relationship and stable macro-economic planning.

Based on the latest 2012 input-output data of Jiangsu Province, this paper uses MATLAB-assisted calculation to quantitatively analyze the industrial ripple effect and industry type of textile manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province. The research results show that the textile manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province is a type III final demand industrial sector; the current value added of textile manufacturing in Jiangsu Province is low; the textile manufacturing industry’s influence coefficient  and induction coefficient  are higher than the social average.

İntersectoral relations, forward and backward linkages, industrial structure dependency, production techniques, efficiency of input usage were calculated in this paper. The results are as follows: for five years economy has been functioning in poor conditions; together with the lack of interaction between sectors, economy is not integrated; there were external dependence in production structure. It is notable that for achieving economic growth, economy needed investments to stimulate the production capacity, which strengthening inter-sectoral relationship and stable macroeconomic planning.

Climate change caused by increasing carbon emission is harmful to global environment and human society. Developing low-carbon economy through reasonable industries planning and effective utilization of resources is a significant path to achieve the aim of energy saving and carbon emission reduction. The word carbon footprint means carbon emission caused by a certain industry, activity, product or individual, and the issue of carbon emission should be linked with economic activity to analyze, while input-output model is a reliable method to contact two factors. Based on input-output model, this paper calculated direct or indirect carbon emission which is demanded for the products of final consumption in Beijing, and analyzed carbon footprint of each industrial sector in 2005, 2007 and 2010 by operating Leontief matrix. The result demonstrates annual carbon emission of Beijing increased from 10482.68×104ton to 17407.28×104ton during 2000-2011. Manufacturing industry, excavating industry, transportation and postal industry exert supreme impact on carbon emission in Beijing. Carbon footprint of transportation and postal industry and other tertiary industries such as information, business, service, education, science researching industries in 2010 had an obvious rise compare with the data of 2005 and 2007.

Globalization has transformed the structure of industry into global integration of socalled global value chains (GVCs). Some literatures suggest that electronic industry is known as a successful industry in establishing global value chain. Electronic industry is one of leading cluster in driving economic growth in Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the role of Indonesia in electronic global value chain according to its share towards global electronic industry, linkages, and value added distribution. An input output analysis by using the Asian International Input Output Table 2005 was employed to analyze the share of each country in electronic global value chain, inter-sector linkages, value added, also output and income multiplier. The result showed that Indonesia had low participation in electronic global value chain. Indonesia’s output share was the lowest among all countries which resulted in low valueadded acquisition. Indonesia played the role as the input user from the various sectors. It is suggested that Indonesia electronic manufacture sector should be integrated with the input supplier sectors. Electronic computing equipment sector can be the main priority in enhancing Indonesia electronic manufacture sector since it has the biggest effect to economic growth. ABSTRACT: The complex relationship between production structure and economic growth has been the subject of considerable debate among Brazilian economists. This debate became especially relevant after the 2000s, when Brazil experienced a period of growth from the rise of commodity exports, which contrasted with the stagnation observed in the previous two decades. To analyse the capacity of commodity exports to generate long-term economic growth, this paper assesses this sector's performance and its effects on related sectors in the upstream supply chain through input-output tables. These analyses lead to two main conclusions. First, expansion of agricultural and mineral commodities production exhibited little capacity to boost the economy because they have the lowest linkage indices. Second, the analysis of the Brazilian production structure demonstrated that sectors related to manufacturing can stimulate other sectors, such as sophisticated services, because of their high linkage effects on other sectors. This study also demonstrates that a development strategy should take benefit of comparative advantages in order to reach a structural change oriented toward expanding manufacturing.
