In recent years’ people especially students most probably clean their shoes manually using brush, which somehow takes a long time to get clean. It is even hard for them to clean it by their own especially for primary students because it requires a lot of energy, which is out of their physical ability. Therefore, with the new shoe cleaner machine, this will be definitely benefited on the user’s desire. With the small machine, which is can be perfectly fitted with the size of the shoes and it can be useful enough as the important role is to clean the shoes. The shoes can be cleaned in much less time with no effort. An attempt has been made to design and fabricate a sole-cleaning machine to make the shoe cleaning process simpler. This work focuses on automation of the shoe cleaning process without any human involvement in the process. As all the employees, faculty, Students etc., are required to wear clean shoes before entering their work place, School, College laboratories etc., The shoe sole cleaner is designed, considering all the parameters with respect to customer need in terms of portability and economically available to them. Thus, not only providing clean environment but also the style quotient to the person with polishing effect.

Employee motivation at work place is an important area in human resource management that contributes to the performance of the employees. The dairy industry produces sterilized room temperature yogurt. In the process of water flushing filling machine of valves ABC structure, the milk pressed by the seal ring of plunger valve A cannot be cleaned for a long time, causing scaling and increasing the risk of pollution. In order to avoid the risk, the filling machine need to be manually disassembled and cleaned which takes more than 4 hours, resulting in great loss of efficiency. This paper integrates the aseptic tank technology and filling technology of China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited. On this basis, the cleaning process of the sterile[1] normal temperature yogurt filling machine is improved, the technology of water flushing valve A is innovated. It solves the problem of milk scale caused by the pressing of ring of valve A which is hard to clean, therefore minimizes the risk of microbial contamination. The improved process has been tested and applied to sterilized normal temperature yoghurt. The risk control of pollution products with high pectin fiber and even the filling machine with steam barrier structure in food industry is also applicable, which has certain promotion value.

Purpose The wax deposition in oil wells and pipelines is very viciously negative to the petroleum extraction and crude oil transportation, and it even causes severe blockage accident. This study aims to describe cleaning experiments performed on wax deposition of different deposition layer and experimental conditions to investigate the removal and tribological properties and chip formation. Design/methodology/approach An optical arrangement was used to visually record the cleaning process, whereas the friction forces were measured by a custom-built tribometer. Various measurements were performed with tool rake angles of 45° and −30° and cleaning depths from 1 to 5 mm. Findings Results from experiments and modeling suggest that the transition of chip was dependent on rake angle, wax performance and cleaning depth. While the cleaning depth increased, the friction and cleaning resistant force also increased. With the increase of cleaning depth, the wax layer cleaning quantity increased and the chip strengthened; hence, the curvature radius of chip was enhanced to form platy chip. The chip of wax–oil mixture was discontinuous units, and it was easy to adhere on the rake face with the increasing depth of cut. With an increase in cleaning depth, the friction and cleaning-resistant force also increased. Originality/value It is concluded that for effectively cleaning and stabilizing of pipeline cleaning machine, different cleaning parameters should be applied to accommodate wax layer or wax–oil mixture.

This work presents design and fabrication of efficient and economical ultrasonic utensil cleaning machine. Electrical energy is converted into Mechanical energy by transducer. Transducer vibrates with ultrasonic frequency supplied to it by the frequency producer. These vibrations produce cavitation bubbles in the solvent/water. The size of the bubbles is in micron range. The mass of the cavitation bubbles depend on the rate of recurrence of the transducer. These bubbles act as scrubber which scrub the surface of utensil thus removing the soils/dirt stick on it. The size of the bubble is so small it does not cause any damage to the surface of utensil. Higher the frequency, more homogeneous will be the cleaning. Rinsing is provided within the system which will make it more compact. To keep the contaminants away from the cleaned surface, sweep frequency is used. Rotation to the basket is given by the motor. This rotation helps to reduce the cycle time and also dry the surface of utensil by centrifugal action. So when the utensil is removed from the basket it is ready for use. By this technology cycle time will be reduced drastically. Without any human efforts it can clean the dirtiest stains from the oily utensils. All types of utensils can be cleaned whether it is ceramics, glass, copper, wood, aluminum, stainless steel, etc. This cleaning process is more hygienic and can clean more efficiently compared to conventional cleaning.

To the question that it was hard to measure and verify the safety design rationality of the performance parameters for the ultrasonic cleaning machine, the destructive effect mechanism of the ultrasonic cleaning was analyzed. It was indicated that the cleaning power and time were the two main factors for damaging the insulating layer of the cleaning objects. The measuring technology was presented by aluminum foil, and it analyzed feasibility and an area assessment method for the measurement method by aluminum foil. The practical long time test of the motor demonstrated that the measurement method by aluminum foil can provide safety design data support and experimental verification to the performance parameters design of the ultrasonic cleaning machine.

AbstractThe idea of augmented or virtual reality in combination with head mounted display is being discussed already since at least 1968. However, for a long time, this topic was discussed mainly within the academic research area with only limited effect or uptake in the work place. Primary reason for this was the missing availability of robust and affordable hardware as well as the limited mobile graphics capabilities. This has changed recently with the availability of numerous affordable devices in combination with applications from the entertainment and gaming area.This Special Issue on Smart Glasses presents a mix of recent research papers and reports to provide an overview of ongoing research and developments in work place environments. In the remainder of this introductory paper we present an overview of the history of Smart Glasses and their applications over the last decades. We also clarify the term Augmented Reality in this historic context. Then we present a topology of current products as well as their intended application areas. Finally, we introduce the papers of this issue within this context.


In this work, an endeavour had been made to structure and manufacture a programmed shoe cleaning cum polishing machine which makes the shoe cleaning process simple and efficient. This venture centres on computerization of the shoe polishing and sparkling procedure with no human contribution all the while. The fundamental reason to plan the programmed shoe cleaning machine is to diminish human exertion to zero. The machine comprises of four principle units transportation, cleaning activity area, polishing activity area and control unit which controls the entire activity as indicated by given guidelines.

As import and export business of the wool continues to expand in China, it is necessary to carry out constantly random testing of wool for quality control departments, at the same time it is urgent to use special wool washing machine to monitor the cleaning process of the wool. However, wool cleaning machine still has not been developed in market. The object of washing machine is the wool conglomeration-like dust samples with other impurities. This paper presents the design principle and operational performance analysis of wool washing machine, its design parameters and product quality has been verified to be improved by the experiment testing.

<p>Memorizing has become part of students’ study activities in learning. As the learning program is getting harder for primary students, they have got difficulties for maintaining what they see and hear for long time. Method of loci is known as one of mnemonic method that helps student to memorize. Method of loci is a memorizing technique which we can associate the words with familiar places. The method in this research is experimental research with between subject designs. The sample of this research is two groups of fifth grade students. Experimental group was taught by method of loci and control group was taught by reading to memorize the science learning subject. The ability to memorize was measured by giving the achievement test to students. Data was analyzed by Mann- whitney, the results revealed p = 0,0337 (p &lt; 0,05), the experiment group memorize better than the control group. This meant teaching science with method of loci can help students to memorize the learning content better than reading.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Keywords:</strong> Method of Loci, Memorizing Ability, Learning, Fifth Grade Students</p>

Abstrak. Penanganan pasca panen padi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi padi, dengan semaksimal mungkin menekan kehilangan hasil panen. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kehilangan hasil panen padi adalah proses pembersihan gabah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, diperlukan suatu upaya untuk mendapatkan proses pembersihan gabah yang optimal dengan cara menganalisis variabel yang berpengaruh pada proses pembersihan gabah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu persamaan matematika untuk memprediksi besar sudut lempar gabah, mengetahui hubungan antar variabel yang mempengaruhi proses pembersihan gabah secara mekanis serta untuk mendapatkan variabel yang diperlukan dalam rancang bangun mesin pembersih gabah dengan media pembersih berupa aliran udara. Melalui pendekatan analisis dimensi diperoleh persamaan prediksi sudut lempar gabah (θ) sebagai fungsi dari bulk density gabah (ρ), diameter saluran udara (D), laju aliran udara (V), kapasitas (Kp), diameter gabah (d), kadar air gabah (α) serta jarak saluran udara dan gabah jatuh (l) yaitu :       θ = 0,0661.(ρ.d^2.V/Kp)^0,643 . (dxα/t)^0,0618Hasil validasi persamaan prediksi sudut lempar gabah menunjukkan bahwa hasil prediksi tidak berbeda nyata dengan hasil observasi sehingga persamaan prediksi yang dibuat dapat diterima. Hasil simulasi persamaan prediksi menunjukkan bahwa diameter saluran udara dan jarak saluran udara saat gabah jatuh memiliki pengaruh tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap besarnya sudut lempar gabah, sedangkan laju aliran udara dan kapasitas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap besarnya sudut lempar gabah. Throw Angle Analysis of Grain on Grain Cleaning Machine With Air FlowAbstract. Post-harvest handling of rice is one of the efforts to increase rice production, with maximum pressing crop yield loss. One of the factors that influence the loss of the harvest is the process of cleaning of the grain. Based on this, we need an effort to obtain optimal grain cleaning process by analyzing the variables that affect in the grain cleaning process. This research aims to produce a mathematical equation to predict the large grain throwing angle, determine the relationship between the variables that affect in the mechanical cleaning process grain and to obtain the necessary variables in the design of grain cleaning machine with cleaning media in the form of air flow. Through the dimensional analysis approach derived prediction equations throwing grain angle (θ) as a function of grain bulk density (ρ), the diameter of the airways (D), the air flow rate (V), capacity (Kp), grain diameter (d), water content grain (α) and distance airways and grain fall (l), namely:θ = 0,0661.(ρ.d^2.V/Kp)^0,643 . (dxα/t)^0,0618The result of prediction equation from grain throwing angle show that prediction result is not different significant with observation result. Simulation result of prediction equation show that the diameter  of airways and distance airways when grain fall has influence but not significant on the value of  grain throwing angle, whereas the air flow rate and capacity has significant influence on the value of  grain throwing angle.
