In this paper, we consider conservation laws and exact solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional modified KdV–Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation. Firstly, we construct conservation laws of the given equation with the help of the conservation theorem; the developed conservation laws are modified conservation laws. Then, we obtain exact solutions of the given equation via the (G′/G,1/G)-expansion method. The obtained solutions are classified as trigonometric solutions, hyperbolic solutions and rational solutions. Furthermore, graphical representations of the obtained solutions are given.

AbstractIn this article, we constructed formal Lagrangian of Phi-4 equation, and then via this formal Lagrangian, we found adjoint equation. We investigated if the Lie point symmetries of the equation satisfy invariance condition or not. Then we used conservation theorem to find conservation laws of Phi-4 equation. Finally, the exact solutions of the equation were obtained through the (G′/G, 1/G)-expansion method.

AbstractIn this paper we study the modified equal width-Burgers equation, which describes long wave propagation in nonlinear media with dispersion and dissipation. Using the Lie symmetry method in conjunction with the (G'/G)− expansion method we construct its travelling wave solutions. Also, we determine the conservation laws by invoking the new conservation theorem due to Ibragimov. As a result we obtain energy and linear momentum conservation laws.

Employing the classical Lie method, we obtain the symmetries of the ZK-BBM equation. Applying the given Lie symmetry, we obtain the similarity reduction, group invariant solution, and new exact solutions. We also obtain the conservation laws of ZK-BBM equation of the corresponding Lie symmetry.

We apply the G′/G2-expansion method to construct exact solutions of three interesting problems in physics and nanobiosciences which are modeled by nonlinear partial differential equations (NPDEs). The problems to which we want to obtain exact solutions consist of the Benny-Luke equation, the equation of nanoionic currents along microtubules, and the generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV system. The obtained exact solutions of the problems via using the method are categorized into three types including trigonometric solutions, exponential solutions, and rational solutions. The applications of the method are simple, efficient, and reliable by means of using a symbolically computational package. Applying the proposed method to the problems, we have some innovative exact solutions which are different from the ones obtained using other methods employed previously.

We study a generalized two-dimensional nonlinear Zakharov-Kuznetsov-Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (ZK-BBM) equation, which is in fact Benjamin-Bona-Mahony equation formulated in the ZK sense. Conservation laws for this equation are constructed by using the new conservation theorem due to Ibragimov and the multiplier method. Furthermore, traveling wave solutions are obtained by employing the(G'/G)-expansion method.

In this paper, we employ the certain theory of Lie symmetry analysis to discuss the time-fractional Gardner equation with time-dependent coefficients. The Lie point symmetry is applied to realize the symmetry reduction of the equation, and then the power series solutions in some specific cases are obtained. By virtue of the fractional conservation theorem, the conservation laws are constructed.

In this paper, a [Formula: see text]-dimensional variable-coefficients Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff (vcCBS) equation is studied. The infinitesimal generators and symmetry groups are obtained by using the Lie symmetry analysis on vcCBS. The optimal system of one-dimensional subalgebras of vcCBS is computed for determining the group-invariant solutions. On this basis, the vcCBS is reduced to two-dimensional partial differential equations (PDEs) by similarity reductions. Furthermore, the reduced PDEs are solved to obtain the two-soliton interaction solution, the soliton-kink interaction solution and some other exact solutions by the [Formula: see text]-expansion method. Moreover, it is shown that vcCBS is nonlinearly self-adjoint and then its conservation laws are calculated.

Abstract In this study, we dealt with the new conservation theorem and the auxiliary method. We have applied the theorem and method to (3 + 1)-dimensional modified Wazwaz–KdV equations. When we applied a new conservation theorem to given equations, the obtained conservation laws did not satisfy the divergence condition. So, we modified the obtained conservation laws. These conservation laws contain extra terms. Finally, we applied the auxiliary method to given equations. We obtained two solution families with six exact solutions. All the obtained solutions are different from each other. For a suitable value of the solutions, the 3D and 2D surfaces have been plotted by Maple.

We study the Drinfel'd-Sokolov-Wilson system, which was introduced as a model of water waves. Firstly we obtain exact solutions of this system using the(G′/G)-expansion method. In addition to exact solutions we also construct conservation laws for the underlying system using Noether's approach.

Lie symmetry analysis is performed on a generalized two-dimensional nonlinear Kadomtsev-Petviashvili-modified equal width equation. The symmetries and adjoint representations for this equation are given and an optimal system of one-dimensional subalgebras is derived. The similarity reductions and exact solutions with the aid ofG′/G-expansion method are obtained based on the optimal systems of one-dimensional subalgebras. Finally conservation laws are constructed by using the multiplier method.
