Profiles of millennial reviewers and gamification can contribute to digital sustainability as a driver of innovation and growth. The study aims to detect if there are profiles of reviewers that can be grouped together, in order to apply a specific gamification to them and to make it sustainable over time. In this way, more information will be generated through the reviews that will help responsible consumers to choose better in their purchase decisions. The objective of this study is twofold. First, it aims to characterize online product reviewers based on their intrinsic motivations and self-perception when they comment, identifying their main motivations. Second, it aims to classify these individuals based on the acceptance of gamification elements while commenting on and relating them to the intrinsic attributes that determine their behaviors. A survey method design was used to capture responses from 187 millennial reviewers of Amazon in Spain. The relationships between motivations and the types of reviewer were extracted from the accommodation of the dataset using decision trees (DTs), specifically, the J48 algorithm. To contribute to the second objective, this paper elaborates a typology of reviewer analysis based on cluster analysis and DTs. It is confirmed that online product reviewers can be characterized based on their intrinsic motivations, which are mainly egoistic motives, competence and social relatedness. The obtained results show that the J48 DT provides excellent classification accuracy of approximately 95% in identifying reviewers based on intrinsic motivations. Similarly, egoistic intrinsic motives are decisive in focusing gamification strategies.

This study aims to test and determine whether empirically through valid data, intrinsic motivation and pesantren regulations have an effect on the satisfaction of students both partially and simultaneously. The method used by researchers is a survey method with a correlational approach to the santri of Manahijusadat Islamic Boarding School in Lebak, Banten. This type of research is quantitative, therefore the data analysis technique used is statistical analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistics. As for the means of collecting data through a questionnaire to 100 respondents from class III MTs Manahijussadat Islamic Boarding School, interviews and documentation. The results of the research hypothesis test showed that there was a positive and significant influence of intrinsic motivation on student satisfaction with a percentage of 17.8%. Second, there is a positive and significant effect of Islamic boarding school regulations on the satisfaction of students as indicated by the percentage of influence of 25.5%. Third, there is a joint positive and significant effect of intrinsic motivation and pesantren regulations on student satisfaction by 32.6%

This article uses cluster analysis to identify different patterns of personal resources within a random sample of the well, elderly population. Ten such patterns or natural groupings are identified and their implications for coping and successful aging are discussed. It is apparent that there are a number of ways both of aging well and aging badly, and that these patterns cannot be predicted solely on the basis of structural data. The article poses a number of questions on the performance of cluster members over time and draws attention to the importance of longitudinal data.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style,intrinisk motivation on the performance of employees train company with job satisfaction asa mediating variable. The number of respondents taken in this study were 52 respondentsusing probability sampling. This study uses a survey method using a quantitative approach.The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression analysis with SPSS software.Based on the conclusion that transformational leadership style and intrinsic motivation havea positive effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable.

The research purpose is to accurate, valid, and reliable data concerning whether there is correlation between intrinsic motivation and year 10 th student’s learning achievement at Nurul Iman Vocational High School Jakarta. The study was conducted for three months from April to June 2014. The method adopted in the study is a survey method with a correlational approach. The population in the study is all year 10 th students at Nurul Iman Vocational High School Jakarta, counted 122 students in total, and the feasible population of the study is year 10 th students majoring in office and administration, counted 72 students. The sample used in the study is 62 students with proportionally random technique. The instrument used in obtaining data for variable X (internal motivation) was in the form of questionnaire with Likert Scale. For variable Y (learning achievement) the data were collected from students’ grades on school report card in the second semester of 2013/2014, issued by Nurul Iman Vocational High School Jakarta. The data analysis technique was done by figuring out the regression equation and the equation is Ŷ = 70.14 + 0.06X. The regression linearity test yielded F counting (1.37) < F table (1.84) therefore it can be concluded that the equation is linear. The correlation coefficient test of product moment yielded r counting = 0.286. The result of the study concludes that there is positive correlation between intrinsic motivation and learning achievement of year 10 th students in Nurul Iman High Vocational School. The test of determination coefficient yielded 8.17% therefore it can be concluded that there is positive and significant correlation between intrinsic motivation and learning achievement.

Advertisers engage celebrities to endorse their products. This chapter hinges on the meaning transfer theory of McCracken that says that celebrity image can be transferred to items that users buy. Using the survey method, this work examined if celebrity endorsements affect buying. Copies of the questionnaire were administered on 1,516 residents drawn from urban, suburban, and rural areas of Lagos and Ogun States, Nigeria. The Pearson correlation found positive relationships between celebrity endorsements and buyers' decisions. The tests show that celebrity endorsements influence the purchase decisions of the residents, and these buyers' avoidance of a product is more clearly influenced by celebrity endorsements. People buy products because of the celebrities that endorsed them. However, some respondents, especially those in the rural areas, were not as influenced into buying these products as are those from the urban and sub-urban areas. It is advised that advertisers pursue other avenues to draw patronage from this area.

Decision trees (DT) has been widely used for training and classification of remotely sensed image data due to its capability to generate human interpretable decision rules and its relatively fast speed in training and classification. This chapter proposes a successive decision tree (SDT) approach where the samples in the ill-classified branches of a previous resulting decision tree are used to construct a successive decision tree. The decision trees are chained together through pointers and used for classification. SDT aims at constructing more interpretable decision trees while attempting to improve classification accuracies. The proposed approach is applied to two real remotely sensed image datasets for evaluations in terms of classification accuracy and interpretability of the resulting decision rules.

<p>This research aimed at verifying whether there are differences in behavioural self-perception of presidents of the Brazilian Olympic Sport Federations regarding the real and ideal leadership competencies profiles, taking their time of experience in position into account. This study comprised two complementary studies. The sample of the first study included 83 participants who filled out a translated and adapted version of the Managerial Behaviour Instrument. In the second study, ten presidents of the Olympic Sport Federations of Minas Gerais were interviewed and their answers were content analysed; complementary, there were consulted the statutes of their organizations in what concerns to their duties. Overall, the analysis of the results of both studies showed that all presidents perceived themselves as being competent and, in general, they considered the need of some improvements in their leadership competencies. Furthermore, the presidents declared that, over time, some knowledge and competencies have been acquired and developed, allowing them to adjust management practices. In sum, the time of experience seems to play an important role in the self-perception and development of leadership competencies in these Brazilian presidents.</p>

Induced decision trees are an extensively-researched solution to classification tasks. For many practical tasks, the trees produced by tree-generation algorithms are not comprehensible to users due to their size and complexity. Although many tree induction algorithms have been shown to produce simpler, more comprehensible trees (or data structures derived from trees) with good classification accuracy, tree simplification has usually been of secondary concern relative to accuracy, and no attempt has been made to survey the literature from the perspective of simplification. We present a framework that organizes the approaches to tree simplification and summarize and critique the approaches within this framework. The purpose of this survey is to provide researchers and practitioners with a concise overview of tree-simplification approaches and insight into their relative capabilities. In our final discussion, we briefly describe some empirical findings and discuss the application of tree induction algorithms to case retrieval in case-based reasoning systems.
