Most retailers use their websites and social media to increase their visibility, while potential customers get information about these retailers using the Internet on electronic devices. Many papers have previously studied online marketing strategies used by retailers, but little attention has been paid to determine how these companies provide information through the Internet about the location and characteristics of their stores. This paper aims to obtain evidence about the inclusion of interactive web maps on retailers’ websites to provide information about the location of their stores. With this purpose, the store locator interactive tools of specialty retailers’ websites included in the report “Global Powers of Retailing 2015” are studied in detail using different procedures, such as frequency analysis and word clouds. From the results obtained, it was concluded that most of these firms use interactive maps to provide information about their offline stores, but today some of them still use non-interactive (static) maps or text format to present this information. Moreover, some differences were observed among the search filters used in the store locator services, according to the retailer’s specialty. These results provided insight into the important role of online store locator tools on retailers’ websites.

Marketers must never underestimate an online buyer. If they are assuming that mere marketing efforts from their side will influence a buyer, then they are being uncalculated and ignorant. Potential customers are not isolated people who are glued to their computer systems confused as to what product to buy. Instead they are tech-savvy, socially active, smart buyers who make a detailed analysis about the product they intend to buy online. Therefore, marketers need to re-design their online marketing strategies to suit to the needs of the buyer. The marketing approach should focus on social influence marketing as well.

In this chapter, the authors study agro food SMEs and especially SMEs in the wine sector, which combine several common characteristics, and they make a comparison between e-marketing strategies and e-commerce adoption in wine SMEs in two European countries: Italy and Greece. Taking into account the existing literature about the use of the Internet for wine marketing, this study identifies the online marketing strategies and the Website features used by the Greek and Italian wine producers.

Abstract Companies cannot take decisions without the availability of proper information. So, marketers need to have the latest information about the target market. Marketers achieve this by collecting information based on traditional data collection methods and online marketing research. The study discusses the various aspects of conducting online marketing research, role of the internet in online marketing research, strategies followed by companies for online marketing research, the ways in which companies communicate and act on the information generated from the research, and the advantages and the disadvantages of conducting online marketing research. The study suggests that companies should conduct online marketing research not only to collect information about customers but also to utilize the insights generated to formulate better strategies and to develop better relationships with customers.

The rapid growth of the internet users in Indonesia poses a challenge to marketers to explore and develop the potential for e-commerce. In this article, consumer trust is expected to encourage customers to make repurchases in online stores. This article aims to build a determinant model of repurchase intention at online stores in Indonesia. This article is based on a survey of Indonesian online store consumers. Respondents were asked to provide responses related to satisfaction, trust, website quality, and repurchase intention. There were 193 final respondents obtained from 300 distributed questionnaires. The model was tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 18. The results revealed the role of the mediating variable of customer satisfaction on repurchase intention. The findings are expected to contribute ideas related to the formation of model reinforce the repurchase intention of online store customers. This implies for website designers to design an online store capable of increasing trust and strengthening the repurchase intention.

In promoting tourism, businesses in entertainment industry should provide e-commerce to their potential customers. Amongst the businesses in entertainment that are engaged in e-commerce include Sunway Lagoon, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Escape-Room and KidZania. Hence, this chapter presents an evaluation of online marketing strategies and tools used by airlines industries like Malaysia Airlines System (MAS), Firefly, AirAsia, and Malindo Air, besides entertainment industries such as Sunway Lagoon, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Escape-Room and KidZania. This research noted that websites need to be more interactive, enable customers to interact and socialize among each other through membership management and additional value-added information. Website with graphics and hyperlinks are not persuasive enough, website should improve with additional suggestions or ‘show more' features to invite customer perform additional clicks and explore to the website. Most of the website offers membership to its customer. This, this membership function should be fully utilized.

Online Marketing Strategies for Travel Agencies This paper describes the theoretical foundations of marketing in the online environment in which a travel agency may develop an effective strategy for selling their products. In the first part of the article the author is focusing on functions of online marketing as well as on its advantages over traditional marketing instruments. In the next section the author addresses the search engine optimization in order to improve the position of a travel agency when searching for potential customers. In the final section the author describes the key social media as well as the right method how a travel agency should enter them. The basics and experiences described in the paper can be used as a universal guide for all travel agencies intending to successfully manage their marketing activities in the online environment.

The existence of the internet starts to shifting the purchase as a conventional to online. One of marketing strategies used by online store is viral marketing.The purpose of this study is to find determinant that forms viral marketing based on perceived customers in top brand online store such as lazada.com, olx.com, tokopedia.com, zalora.com, blibli.com, and bhinneka.com. The Research methodology used is the quantitative method with descriptive analysis using factor analysis by a population as 3.271.147 people and the number of sample uses Slovin formulas with confidency level at 95 % obtained as 400 respondents. Based on the result of research, there are twelve factors formed a new factor called viral marketing online store. Based on its priority, those dimensions of viral marketing online store can be sorted as follows: customer recommendation, newsletter, linking strategies, communities, free offer, sweepstakes, list of prospective buyers, chatrooms, reference list, product texts, affiliate programs, dan search engine.

Currently, communication becomes more complex, faster and more dynamic every day. In this context, communication switches channels on traditional media to online applications. Thus, the electronic communication threatens, if not take the physical communication. We live in the era of information and the information they seek more ways than quick, cheap and accessible spread. Among the most common methods of electronic communication including website, electronic newsletter, blog and email custom. Online marketing has its roots in traditional marketing, but branch out and in a very obvious due to a unique features: interactivity. On the Internet, communication takes place in two directions and not just one, as in traditional marketing. At the same time, sellers and buyers can complete transactions from their homes or offices, at any time of day or night. Online marketing offers the advantage of presenting the interactive promotional materials that can meet the expectations of each type of buyer. Instead of creating a single message, as happens in the promotion of mass, marketing online allows the creation of "interactive brochure" that allow potential customers to choose the information that they want to see and when they want to see. Changing consumer behavior have had thoughts of marketing people who understand that the Internet is a very effective tool to attract, retain and loyalty the customer.

The hospitality industry provides twenty-four hour service all year long for the interested people, just like the Internet which is always online. This immediate information that the Internet presents to the potential customers and the opportunity to have a better viewpoint of the service they are going to buy, prepare them for the experience they are going to live. Ideas on website quality may differ, but there is also a great deal of common ground so there is a need for further research by the marketing experts. Therefore, it is very important for tourism businesses and other organizations, either from private, or from public sector, to understand the customer needs that are amenable to fulfillment in an online environment and strive to meet them. Some questions that can be raised are: What makes a destination website an effective marketing tool? How can success be measured? What is a successful website? How can quality and effectiveness be evaluated? The purpose of this paper is to address these questions using a literature review methodology, as well as a content analysis of some of the Albanian touristic websites. Seeing the growing role of websites as a customer contact point and virtual company office, tourism businesses are realizing the strategic importance of a website as a marketing tool for addressing consumers in electronic business environment.

Many marketing strategies including and approaches like CRM, mass marketing, PR marketing and IMC have developed for the sake of increasing the demand on the product and elevate the level of customer satisfaction. With the technological development and the entrance of internet marketing there appeared an urgent need to increase the intensity of the marketing strategies in a way that matches the concept of online marketing as distance marketing. From that point, the current study seeks to understand the influence of integrated marketing communication (IMC) on the efficiency of internet-based marketing from the perspective of Jordanian customers. The variables which are employed in the current study are (communicational messaging, direct marketing, online marketing, promotion, mass media marketing and public relations). The sample of the study consisted of (349) customer from malls, commercial complexes and trading center. Through the quantitative approach and utilizing the questionnaire; the results of the study indicated there is a positive influence of IMC on the internet-based marketing within the variables of (communicational messaging, direct marketing, public relations, and mass media marketing) while (promotions and online marketing) seemed to have no influence on the internet-based marketing. The study recommends carrying out a research study that examines the influence of E-IMC on the online marketing practices through social media websites.
