This work presents a monitoring system for the environmental conditions of rose flower-cultivation in greenhouses. Its main objective is to improve the quality of the crops while regulating the production time. To this end, a system consisting of autonomous quadruped vehicles connected with a wireless sensor network (WSN) is developed, which supports the decision-making on type of action to be carried out in a greenhouse to maintain the appropriate environmental conditions for rose cultivation. A data analysis process was carried out, aimed at designing an in-situ intelligent system able to make proper decisions regarding the cultivation process. This process involves stages for balancing data, prototype selection, and supervised classification. The proposed system produces a significant reduction of data in the training set obtained by the WSN while reaching a high classification performance in real conditions—amounting to 90% and 97.5%, respectively. As a remarkable outcome, it is also provided an approach to ensure correct planning and selection of routes for the autonomous vehicle through the global positioning system.

Quartz sands contain various iron and clay minerals which coat silicate grains or are impregnated in silicate matrix. Treatment by basin water bioleaching in combination with electromagnetic separation can substantially improve the quality of quartz sands. The purpose of this in-situ study was to evaluate the feasibility of using a biological basin treatment process to improve the quality of quartz sands. The environmental conditions involved the changes of climate temperature, using fresh surface water without disinfection, inhibition of algae and fungi, and promoting bacteria. Analyses of the solution phase were used to monitor the dissolution of iron during the bioleaching of the quartz sands and to optimize the in-situ conditions for the bacterial activity. The rate of iron dissolution varied with environmental conditions, with the addition of nitriloacetic acid (NTA)/l and organic feedstock in the form of molasses. Bacterial removal of clay and iron minerals can be used to expose the white surfaces of quartz grains. The quartz sands from the Šaštín deposit (Slovakia) were used in glass industry after decreasing the Fe content.

This research analyzed the news quality on an Islamic online news portal in Solo, thepancaran.net, and the concern about the quality of Islamic online media in Solo became the reason for this research. This is a descriptive research using qualitative approach., andthe research data analysis used descriptive analysis. The process was carried out since the data were collected;therefore, researchers had started the data analysis process on the field until the research was complete. The analysis usedparameters, whether the news hadfulfilled the elements of news,and thus the news could be said to be in good quality, less quality, or not worthy of publication due to the code of ethics violation. These elements were news value, 5W + 1H systematic, Inverted Pyramid Systematics, News Headlines, News Lead, News Content, News Quotations, and Journalistic Code of Ethics. In the analysis, there were 7 elements fulfilled in the news onpancaran.net, therefore if there was one element that had not been fulfilled, then the news on pancaran.net could be said to be in good quality, sinceit would have been good if these 7 elements had been fulfilled. However, there was one element that was not fulfilled, which was the element of the journalistic code of ethics. It was found on this research that the pancaran.netwebsite was not recommended for online news readers in Solo due to violations of the journalistic code of ethics found in the news.

Data analysis and mathematical techniques play a central role in quantitative data processing. Quantitative researchers estimate (strength) the strength of the relationship of variables, and test hypotheses statistically. Unlike the case with qualitative research. Although qualitative researchers might test a hypothesis in the analysis process, they do not estimate or test hypotheses about the relationship of variables statistically. Through tests or statistical tests can be used as the main means for interpreting the results of research data. It is through this statistical test that we as researchers can compare which data groups and what can be used to determine probabilities or possibilities that distinguish between groups based on an opportunity. Thus, it can provide evidence to determine the validity of a hypothesis or conclusion. In this study, we will discuss the preparation of data for analysis such as editing data, coding, categorizing, and entering data. As well as discussing the differences in data analysis for descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, differences in data analysis for parametric and non-parametric statistics in research, explanations of multivariate data analysis procedures, and also forms of research hypotheses.

Diarrhea is an endemic disease in Indonesia with symptoms of three or more defecations with the consistency of liquid stool. According to WHO, diarrhea is the second largest contributor to the death of under-five children. Data and cases of children under five years who have diarrhea are very difficult to find, so the data analysis process becomes difficult due to the lack of information obtained. Difficulties in the data analysis process can be overcome by rebalancing, so the category ratios are balanced. The method that is popularly used is SMOTE. To solve imbalanced data and improve classification performance, this study implements the combination of SMOTE with several ensemble techniques in diarrhea cases of under-five children in Indonesia. Ensemble models that are used in this study are Random Forest, Adaptive Boosting, and XGBoost with Decision Tree as a baseline method. The results show that all SMOTE-based methods demonstrate a competitive performance whereas SMOTE-XGB gains a slightly higher accuracy (0.88), precision (0.96), and f1-score (0.86). The implementation of the SMOTE strategy improved the recall, precision, and f1-score metrics and give higher AUC of all methods (DT, RF, ADA, and XGB). This study is useful to solve the imbalanced problems in official statistics data provided by BPS Statistics Indonesia

This study aims to analyze and examine strategies for improving the quality of public services at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and the National Land Agency of North Luwu Regency. The method is qualitative research with data collection techniques in this study include interviews and observations. The data analysis process used an interactive model analysis with data analysis including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show obstacles in implementing strategies for improving the quality of land services, including the capacity and capability of the apparatus personnel who are not yet fully capable of carrying out service functions based on predetermined SOPs, including the lack of human resources who have expertise in land affairs. Apart from that, the support for facilities and infrastructure which greatly supports the implementation of land service functions in the field is still very limited. The cultural strategy that needs to be put forward is how to build a work culture that is flexible and sensitive to the needs of land service users. This is considered important, given the complexity of problems surrounding land administration management, which is still a major problem and is in the public spotlight. The facts that the researchers found in the field prove that land problems, especially those related to the work culture of land service officials, are still a matter of concern for people who use land services.

AbstractTrust is a major determinant of acceptance of an autonomous vehicle (AV), and a lack of appropriate trust could prevent drivers and society in general from taking advantage of such technology. This paper makes a new attempt to explore the effects of personalised AVs as a novel approach to the cognitive underpinnings of drivers’ trust in AVs. The personalised AV system is able to identify the driving behaviours of users and thus adapt the driving style of the AV accordingly. A prototype of a personalised AV was designed and evaluated in a lab-based experimental study of 36 human drivers, which investigated the impact of the personalised AV on user trust when compared with manual human driving and non-personalised AVs. The findings show that a personalised AV appears to be significantly more reliable through accepting and understanding each driver’s behaviour, which could thereby increase a user’s willingness to trust the system. Furthermore, a personalised AV brings a sense of familiarity by making the system more recognisable and easier for users to estimate the quality of the automated system. Personalisation parameters were also explored and discussed to support the design of AV systems to be more socially acceptable and trustworthy.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa ayam kampung pada suhu 5oC menggunakan pengencer dan lama simpan yang berbeda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian laboratorium menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan pengencer ringer lactat solution, air kelapa dan tanpa pengencer serta lama simpan 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, masing-masing diulang 10 kali. Variabel yang diamati yaitu motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisis varian. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa menggunakan pengencer ringer lactat solution lebih tinggi (P<0,01) serta dapat bertahan sampai lama simpan 24 jam dibandingkan air kelapa dan tanpa pengencer. Adapun nilai motilitas ringer lactat solution, air kelapa dan tanpa pengencer pada lama simpan 24 jam masing-masing sebesar 43,5±17,17%; 8±4,83%; 6,5±2,4%, sedangkan nilai viabilitasnya sebesar 83,2±7,25%; 64,6±3,20%; dan 63,1±2,33%. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah ringer lactat solution lebih baik dibandingkan air kelapa dan tanpa pengencer dalam mempertahankan kualitas semen ayam kampung pada suhu simpan 5oC sampai lama simpan 24 jam.Kata Kunci : air kelapa, ayam kampung, motilitas, spermatozoa, viabilitas  ABSTRACTThis study was conducted to determine the motility and viability of spermatozoa of Native chickens at 5oC using different diluents and time storage. The method used in this study was laboratory research using Factorial Completely Randomized Design with ringer lactate solution, coconut water and without diluent at 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30 hours of time storage each repeated 10 times. The variables observed were motility and viability of sperm. Data analysis used is variance analysis. The results of data analysis showed that the motility and viability of spermatozoa using ringer lactate solution diluents was higher (P <0.05) than coconut water and without diluents. The motility values of ringer lactat solution, coconut water and without diluents were 43,5±17,17%; 8±4,83%; 6,5±2,4% respectively, while the viability values were 83,2±7,25%; 64,6±3,20% and 63,1±2,33%. The conclusion of this study is that ringer lactat solution is better than coconut water an without diluents in maintaining the quality of Native chicken semen at a storage temperature of 5oC until 24 hours.Keywords: coconut water, motility, native chicken, sperm, viability

ABSTRAK  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bubuk daun Moringa oleifera (MO) terhadap kuantitas dan kualitas semen sapi peranakan ongole (PO). Metode penelitian menggunakan percobaan lapang dengan rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga perlakuan pemberian MO sebesar 0 kg/ekor/hari (P1); 0,05 kg/ekor/hari (P2) dan 0,1 kg/ekor/hari (P3). Analsis data menggunakan one way analysis of variance. Masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas empat ekor dengan tiga periode pengamatan sebagai ulangan, yaitu periode pertama dan ketiga tanpa MO, dan periode kedua diberikan MO pada P2 dan P3. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa volume dan pH semen perlakuan P1, P2 dan P3 tidak berbeda semua periode pengamatan. Motilitas massa spermatozoa P2 dan P3 periode kedua dan ketiga menunjukan nilai +++ berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dibandingkan dengan P1 (++); motilitas individu  perlakuan P1 menunjukkan nilai terendah 60,56±2,94 % (P<0,05) dibandingkan P2 dan P3 pada periode kedua dan ketiga (75,50±2,29 dan 72,50±2,34%). Konsentrasi spermatozoa P2 dan P3 periode kedua dan ketiga menunjukkan rata-rata  >1.350 juta/ml berbeda nyata (P<0,05) daripada P1 (876±152juta/ml), sedangkan total spermatozoa motil menunjukkan nilai tertinggi 5.647±829 juta/ml pada P3 periode kedua.Viabilitas spermatozoa P2 dan P3 menunjukkan nilai >88-89 % beda nyata (P<0,05) daripada P1 (<84 %) pada periode kedua dan ketiga, sedangkan nilai abnormalitas spermatozoa yang terbaik adalah P2 sebesar 4,30% pada periode kedua dan P3 sebesar 5,33% pada periode ketiga. Disimpulkan pemberian bubuk daun MO dengan dosis 0,1 kg/ekor/hari dapat memperbaiki kuantitas dan kualitas semen (viabilitas dan total spermatozoa motil) sapi pejantan PO.Kata kunci:  kuantitas dan kualitas semen, Moringa oleifera, sapi pejantan ABSTRACTThe research aimed to determine the effect of Moringa oleifera (MO) leaf powder on the quantity and quality of semen of ongole crossbreed. The research method used was a field experiment with a completely randomized design with three treatments giving MO of 0 kg/head/day (P1); 0.05 kg/head/day (P2) and 0.1 kg/head/day (P3). Each treatment consisted of four heads with three periods of observation as replications, namely the first and third periods without MO, and the second period was given MO on P2 and P3. Data analysis used a one-way analysis of variance. The results showed that the volume and pH of semen treated P1, P2, and P3 didn’t different in all observation periods. The second and third period spermatozoa mass motility of P2 and P3 showed that the value of +++ was significantly different (P<0.05) compared to P1 (++); Individual motility of P1 treatment showed the lowest value 60,56±2,94 % (P<0.05) compared to P2 and P3 in the second and third periods (75,50±2,29 and 72,50±2,34%). The second and third periods of P2 and P3 spermatozoa concentrations showed an average of >1,350 million/cc significantly different (P<0.05) than P1 (876±152 million/cc), while the total motile spermatozoa showed the highest value of 5,647±829 million/cc in the second period P3. The spermatozoa viability of P2 and P3 showed values >88-89% significantly different (P<0.05) than P1 (<84%) in the second and third periods, while the best spermatozoa abnormalities were P2 at 4.30% in the second period and P3 at 5.33% in the third period. It was concluded that the giving of MO leaf powder at a dose of 0,1 kg/head/day could improve the quantity and quality of semen (viability and total motile spermatozoa) of Ongole Crossbreed bulls. The main purpose of this research was to observer effect co-solvent type (n-Hexane, chloroform and without co-solvent)  toward yield and quality of biodiesel via in situ transesterification process using microwave irradiation. The process was studied at microwave power 450 watt, reaction time 4 minutes, methanol to seed ratio 25:1 and catalyst concentration 5%. The physicochemical parameters of the biodiesel produced such as viscosity, density and acid value were analysed and compared with the SNI 7182-2012 standard. The experimental result showed the maximum yield biodiesel 78,32% obtained by using co-solvent chloroform.Test result of physicochemical properties (viscosity, density and acid value) of biodiesel products using co solvent n-Hexane, chloroform and without co solvent showed that these products conform to the SNI 7182-2012 standars. The type of co-solvent only affectedon biodiesel yield dan not affected on biodiesel quality (viscosity, density and acid value).  ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh jenis co-solvent (n-Hexane, chloroform dan tanpa co-solvent) terhadap rendemen dan mutu biodiesel secara trasesterifikasi in situ menggunakan radiasi gelombang mikro. Proses dilakukan pada daya gelombang mikro 450 watt, waktu reaksi 4 menit, perbandingan berat metanol terhadap bahan baku 25:1 dan jumlah katalis 5%. Parameter fisiko kimia dari produk biodiesel seperti viskositas, densitas dan angka asam di analisa dan dibandingkan dengan standar SNI 7182-2012 tentang biodiesel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rendemen maksimum biodiesel sebesar 78,32% diperoleh dengan menggunakan co-solvent chloroform. Hasil pengujian  karakteristik fisiko kimia (viskositas, densitas dan angka asam) dari produk biodiesel menggunakan co-solvent n-Hexane, chloroform dan tanpa co-solvent menunjukkan bahwa semua parameter ini masih memenuhi standar SNI 1782-2012 tentang biodiesel. Jenis co-solvent hanya berpengaruh pada rendemen biodiesel dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap mutu biodiesel (viskositas, densitas dan bilangan asam).Kata kunci: co-solvent, in situ transesterifikasi, microwave, rendemen, mutu

Pregnancy and abortion can be a stressor that can increase anxiety. The Qur'an is just as a doubt antidote and diseases that are in the chest and it is commonly known as the heart. The Lavender one of essential oil which popular and it is widely used in the field of clinical health which especially addressing psychosomatic in gynecology. The purpose of this research was to determine the potential decrease of anxiety on pregnant women in post-abortion by reading verses syifa and lavender aromatherapy. The research used experimental design of Pre and Post Test-Group with a sample of all pregnant women who had abortion. The total sample was 24 people. The research was conducted in Aisyiyah Hospital and Muhammadiyah Hospital of Ponorogo in Juny - August 2018. The data analysis used T and Wilcoxon test. The result of data analysis were 0,003 <0,05 and there was comparison between potential decrease of anxiety in pregnant women post abortion by reading verses syifa and giving aromatherapy  of lavender.  The comparison showed that the potency of decreasing of anxiety in pregnant woman post abortion by reading ayatus syifa and giving aromatherapy of lavender, 38% decreased anxiety level in pregnant woman post abortion because of lavender therapy and 62% was due to other factor. Then 89%decreased in anxiety level in pregnant woman post abortion because of reading ayatus syifa and 11% due to other factor. Research products can be used as media in the treatment of non pharmacological psikomatic in order to support quality of public health.
