Internet has revolutionized the technological era, which has a significant impact on us by making communication much better not only with the living beings but also with non-living things through the medium of internet of things (IoT). Thus, this topic highlights how internet of things can minimize user intervention in controlling home appliances and monitoring its setting. Integrating IoT with cloud computing and web service helps us in providing feasibility in accessing home appliances (i.e., monitoring appliances and measuring home condition). The whole process of integration aims to create an intelligent system. Thus, smart home is one of the application of IoT aimed at improving comfort, safety, and wellbeing within our homes.

The Web

The XML Messaging Protocol, a part of the Web service protocol stack, is responsible for encoding messages in a common XML format (or type), so that they can be understood at either end of a network connection. The evolution of an XML type may be required in order to reflect new communication needs, materialized by slightly different XML messages. For instance, due to a service evolution, it might be interesting to extend a type in order to allow the reception of more information, when it is available, instead of always disregarding it. The authors’ proposal consists in a conservative XML schema evolution. The framework is as follows: administrators enter updates performed on a valid XML document in order to specify new documents expected to be valid, and the system computes new types accepting both such documents and previously valid ones. Changing the type is mainly changing regular expressions that define element content models. They present the algorithm that implements this approach, its properties and experimental results.

This study investigates how healthcare practitioners handle significant circumstancesof providing medical assistance and treatments to patients and what challenges theyface. Drawing on key healthcare stakeholders and mixed smart living methods, wedevelop a guideline service protocol for Internet of Things (IoT) solution to helphealthcare stakeholders in coping with operational difficulties. IoT technology is one ofthe key determinants that empowers healthcare professionals to achieve their tasks,and our goal is to study the functions that provides to local citizens, especially olderpeople, and to evaluate how the functions and platform could assist corporatecompliance policies to increase the efficiency of healthcare service. Our fieldexperiments have indicated a need to educate healthcare users about IoT applicationthat provide advantages in decision making. In addition, our research has explored andevaluated the impacts and factors that influence the development and collaboration byallowing workflows of healthcare stakeholders and by following integrated smart livingplatform and required service protocol.
