Visible light positioning (VLP) has been studied widely due to its high accuracy and low cost in the field of location-based services (LBS). However, many existing VLP systems have the requirements that the receiver should be placed horizontally and more than three LED lamps should be used, which are difficult to meet in practical scenarios. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a novel VLP algorithm for tilted conditions. An effective and simple VLP system while the receiver is tilted based on double-LED lamps is proposed in this paper. The vertical position can be determined by combining the information from angle sensors with geometric information. Through analyzing the imaging characteristics of the tilted state, we can utilize the relationship of similarity to calculate the location of the mobile receiver. Experimental results show that the positioning accuracy of our proposed algorithm can reach 5.48 cm.

Abstract More and more sensors and receivers are found nowadays in smartphones which can enable and improve positioning for Location-based Services and other navigation applications. Apart from inertial sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscope and magnetometer, receivers for Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) and GNSS signals can be employed for positioning of a mobile user. In this study, three trilateration methods for Wi-Fi positioning are investigated whereby the influence of the derivation of the relationship between the received signal strength (RSS) and the range to an Access Points (AP) are analyzed. The first approach is a straightforward resection for point determination and the second is based on the calculation of the center of gravity in a triangle of APs while weighting the received RSS. In the third method a differential approach is employed where as in Differential GNSS (DGNSS) corrections are derived and applied to the raw RSS measurements. In this Differential Wi-Fi (DWi-Fi) method, reference stations realized by low-cost Raspberry Pi units are used to model temporal RSS variations. In the experiments in this study two different indoor environments are used, one in a laboratory and the second in the entrance of an office building. The results of the second and third approach show position deviations from the ground truth of around 2 m in dependence of the geometrical point location. Furthermore, the transition between GNSS positioning outdoors and Wi-Fi localization indoors in the entrance area of the building is studied.

Development of high efficient and high accuracy slice processing technology is required for realizing the high quality and low cost large SiC wafer. Our target of high speed slicing is slicing a 6 inch SiC single crystal ingot in about 9 hours. This slicing speed is about 10 times higher than the loose abrasive slurry sawing and about 4 times higher than the current technology of diamond wire sawing. The slicing speed and the slicing accuracy are in the relationship of trade-off. Therefore, in this research, we have studied the high speed slicing technique of 3 inch and 4 inch SiC single crystal ingot aiming at reduction of sliced wafers SORI. Moreover, we have extracted subjects to scale-up for the high speed slicing of the 6 inch SiC single crystal ingot.

We estimate the health and cost effects of instituting a National Health Program (NHP) in the United States that would provide universal, comprehensive free care. Based on empiric studies of the relationship of health service use to cost and health outcomes, we estimate that an NHP would increase use of health services by 14.6 percent and save between 47,000 and 106,000 lives annually. Because the United States faces a growing surplus of hospital beds and physicians, additional services could be provided at low cost. Simplifying the health bureaucracy that currently enforces unequal access to care would also result in substantial savings. Consequently, an NHP would actually decrease costs 2.4 percent, $10.2 billion annually, since the $35.7 billion spent for additional services would be offset by $45.9 billion saved on bureaucracy.

To solve the problem of the large amount of calculation, poor robustness and do not well in image mosaic of images who are in different scales in the traditional image mosaic method ,the article arise a mosaic algorithm of different scales images registration and adaptive. Through feature point matching and automatically recognizing of transform geometric parameters between images,It achieves the match and mosaic of different scale and rotated images. First, using SIFT to extract the feature points of the images and matching feature points according to the principal of mutual information maximum. Then based on the geometric information of the matching pairs, automatically recognize the relationship of transformation parameters. In the end, obtain the projective transformation and achieve the image stable mosaic.

Additive manufacturing technologies play an important role in Industry 4.0. One of the most prevalent processes is fused deposition modelling (FDM) due to its versatility and low cost. However, there is still a lack of standardization of materials and procedures within this technology. This work aims to study the relationship of certain operating parameters and the conditions of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) polymer with the results of the manufactured parts in dimensional terms, surface quality, and mechanical strength. In this way, the impact of some material characteristics is analyzed, such as the pigmentation of the material and the environmental humidity where it has been stored. The manufacturing parameter that relates to these properties has been the extrusion temperature since it is the most influential in this technology. The results are quite affected especially by humidity, being a parameter little studied in the literature.

This study aims to examine the effect of competitive strategies on company performance with supply chains as moderating. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression and subgroups using Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of the study show that competitive strategies have an effect on company performance. Supply chain as a moderating variable strengthens the relationship of competitive strategies to company performance. Low cost strategies and differentiation are used in measuring competitive strategies. Where differentiation strategies are more applied than low cost strategies due to the object of research in the fields of property, real estate, building construction that produces limited and unique products at high costs.

The efficiency power plant (EPP) is a kind of virtual power plant with zero emission, zero pollution, and low cost and exhibits a high-quality low-carbon production behavior in input-output analysis. In the process of implementing EPP, enterprises not only save electricity but also reduce carbon emissions, while increasing the cost of R&D and equipment. Therefore, it is very necessary to study relationships between carbon quota and EPP implementation decision. In this paper, we build the profit functions of three different types of enterprises implementing EPP and analyze the relationship of main parameters, such as the probability of implementing EPP, electricity saving, income, cost, and carbon quota, and obtain nine relative results. Then, we use ‘Maple’ software to simulate the results by drawing images of parameters, and all the above nine results passed the simulation test verification. At last, we collect the actual survey data and use VC++ programming to carry out an empirical study in China to prove the practicability of the model and the results. The results show that, under the carbon quota trading system, enterprises should tend to implement EPPs and increase investment in R&D and acquisition of EPPs and are needed to adjust the intensity of implementing EPPs according to the change of carbon quota and unit carbon quota income, to obtain higher income.
