Being able to understand, express, and communicate emotions is widely recognized as a fundamental competence. For the younger generation entering the professional market, this is particularly relevant as, in this context, emotions are managed and communicated in ways (and channels) that are different from what they are used to and that can easily lead to misunderstandings. Therefore, it is important to analyze how young people deal with, understand, and interpret emotions, particularly in the context of a professional career where the ability to dialogue with different people and how to get around problems in a healthy and resilient way is essential. This analysis will allow one to design and create tools that allow the younger generation to improve their emotional intelligence and competence. This article introduces the League of Emotions Learners (LoEL) project, an innovative initiative that, through a game app, develops the emotional competence and intelligence of young people. The article then presents the results obtained in the initial validation that led to the positive understanding of its impact.

Agriculture is a very prestigious business sector, because it plays an important role in providing food for humanity. But apparently this does not automatically attract the attention of the community, especially the younger generation to pursue the field of agricultural business, especially graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture. Young people who choose a career in agriculture are required to have good entrepreneurial intelligence so that they can see an obstacle as a positive challenge. The purpose of this study was to determine entrepreneurial intelligence from graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture who chose a career as a business actor in agriculture. The research method in this study is a qualitative design. In-depth observation (Sugiyono, 2012) to see entrepreneurial intelligence possessed by graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture engaged in agribusiness. The results showed that graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture who are engaged in agriculture have entrepreneurial intelligence such as (1) having the courage to take risks, (2) being able to recognize their strengths or potentials, where they have a clear vision in life, (3) having emotional intelligence good, (4) Always oriented to the process and results, (5) Adaptive to change, which is always willing to learn, change and develop following changes in markets and the environment, (6) Never stop innovating in the course of its business, (7) Able to always collaborate with other parties and work together positively with each other so that all parties can develop and succeed together - (8) Always build a business network (friendship) with partners and stakeholders related to their business, (9) Getting used to always provide benefits to the environment, sharing and advancing together so that they always have a positive spirit for success.

In Uzbekistan, special attention is paid to the study of historical, national and spiritual values ​​in the context of socio-economic, spiritual and educational changes. All necessary conditions for the education of young people are now created. The fundamental task of today is to radically change the education system, to educate the younger generation in the spirit of enlightenment, and to encourage patriotism and creativity of the young. In this article, I will discuss the importance of studying the works of ancient great thinkers and to conduct lessons by using topics related to the personality and works of great ancestors in terms of shaping the students' spiritual outlook.

The future of the energy sector depends on the younger generation. The paper presents the results of the study, the aim of which was to determine to what extent younger generation is pro-ecological and pro-social, and whether they will include pro-ecological and pro-social activities in the management of energy companies. It is especially important to implement sustainable management in the energy sector. The study found that only 33.9% of young people are highly pro-ecological and 28.6% highly pro-social. As many as 83.0% of the younger generation show low and medium interest in environmental protection. Declarations of young people concerning high degree of inclusion of pro-ecological and pro-social activities in management are at the level of 49.9% and 58.1%. However, in many cases, these intentions do not coincide with the high pro-ecological and pro-social attitude of young people. This means that their future activity for sustainable management may be low. According to the survey, the younger generation to a large extent is not prepared to continue efforts for sustainable development in the future in the energy companies.

Background. A scientific problem concerning factors which are important for academic achievement of students is analysed in the paper. Questions whether emotional intelligence level is related to academic achievement and whether correlation between academic achievement in a specific area (science, languages) and EI expression exists, whether emotional intelligence of young people with low education differs from that of young people with higher education, etc. are raised. Methods. Research participants were 1430 students aged between 17 and 27 years. The survey was performed using EI-DARL V2 test. The following factors were assessed: “Perception of one’s own emotions”; “Control of one’s own emotions”; “Perception of emotions of other people”; “Control of emotions of other people”, and “Manipulations”. Also, such aspects as ability of recognizing emotions in facial pictures and ability of emotional situation solving were assessed. Results. The combined EI scale scores in all factors were the highest of those subjects who are or were excellent students, the lowest – of those who were poor students. Those subjects who were equally poor both at languages and sciences were the least capable of perception of their own emotions and those of others people, they also were the least capable of controlling their own emotions. Highly educated young people were of higher emotional intelligence. Furthermore, emotional situation solving and emotion recognition in pictures was better in the group of highly educated students. Conclusion. Positive correlation between academic achievement and emotional intelligence was established. Mathematics and language skills proved to be significant indexes of emotional intelligence: it was established that those subjects who were more successful in sciences were the best at understanding and controlling their own emotions, while individuals who were better in languages were more efficient in understanding and controlling emotions of other people.

This paper subscribes the efforts to promote youth health and the prevention of osteo-musculo-articular disorders in their professional career. Physical exercise represents the central pillar in preventing the spine deficiency attitudes. Rendering efficient the prevention methods for the deficient postural attitudes requires an effort to anticipate the potential adverse effects of the new technologies on the health and safety of the young people. The paper’s aim is to make known the diversification of the kinetic and prophylactic means and of those for recovering the light deficiency posture attitudes (scoliosis) by developing programs which use basketball means. Enriching the kinetic programs through various basketball means, constitutes a necessity for executing, developing and improving the normal motor functions, but also for the re-educating the deficient ones.

The purpose of devotion is the introduction of JBatik Software to Nisya Batik Kuningan employees. The era of globalization, the younger generation is expected to have entrepreneurial abilities that can be used as opportunities to improve the welfare of the community. The method of conducting entrepreneurship counseling activities for the younger generation was carried out on 9-11 September in Nisya Batik, Cikubangsari Village, Kramatmulya District, Kuningan Regency. The number of participants in this activity were 4 young people from Nisya Batik employees in Cikubangsari Village, Kramatmulya District, Kuningan Regency with a high school education background. The method used is the presentation method, the method of introduction of software and training methods for making batik motifs. The material in this training activity is in the form of software for making batik motifs that makes it easy for employees so that they do not require finishing in making batik motifs before. The result of dedication that is Nisya Batik along with Cikubangsari Village, Kramatmulya Subdistrict, Kuningan Regency can launch empowerment activities especially in developing the use of technology as production and planned efficiency between Universities and Village Officials to explore the potentials in the region.Keywords: Technology, Nisya Batik, Batik Motifs.Abstrak AbstrakTujuan dari pengabdian adalah pengenalan Software JBatik pada karyawan Nisya Batik Kuningan. Era globalisasi, generasi muda diharapkan memiliki kemampuan berwirausaha yang dapat dijadikan peluang untuk  meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.. Metode pelaksanaan  kegiatan  penyuluhan kewirausahaan bagi generasi muda ini dilaksanakan  pada  tanggal 9 -11 September di Nisya Batik Desa Cikubangsari Kecamatan Kramatmulya Kabupaten Kuningan.  Adapun jumlah  peserta dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak  4  orang  generasi  muda dari karyawan Nisya Batik Desa Cikubangsari Kecamatan Kramatmulya Kabupaten Kuningan dengan latar belakang pendidikan SMA. Metode yang digunakan  yaitu metode presentasi, metode pengenalan software dan metode pelatihan pembuatan  motif-motif batik. Materi dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini berupa software untuk pembuatan motif batik yang memudahkan bagi karyawan sehingga tidak memerlukan kembali finishing dalam pembuatan motif batik sebelumnya. Hasil pengabdian yaitu Nisya Batik beserta jajaran  Desa Cikubangsari Kecamatan Kramatmulya Kabupaten Kuningan dapat mencanangkan kegiatan pemberdayaan khususnya dalam mengembangkan penggunaan teknologi sebagai efisiensi produksi dan terencana antara Perguruan Tinggi dengan Aparat Desa untuk menggali potensi-potensi yang ada di wilayah tersebut.Kata Kunci : Teknologi, Nisya Batik, Motif Batik.

Corona crisis, climate change, the future of Europe and, last but not least, demographic change – these are the challenges facing the younger generation in the first place. But it seems to be hardly aware of its responsibility: Politics and society need more than participation in demonstrations and activism in social media, the economy needs more than just well-trained academics. Young people can and must face the challenges of the present with conviction and verve.

In today's world where the global economy is shrinking and the people of the world are constantly being plaque by recession, natural disasters, poverty and war the youth have to grapple with all these stressful influences. Due to the recession the job markets have become saturated as recession has hit the global economies throughout the world. The youth now are tasked with becoming involved in entrepreneurial activities to survive in these complex world economies. However entrepreneurship is not an easy endeavour. It is not for the faint hearted either. Entrepreneurism involves drive, perseverance, emotional intelligence and risk taking. A way forward for young people is social entrepreneurship as it offers them very viable opportunities within the backdrop of such a volatile economy.

Abstract Background Promoting well-being and preventing poor mental health in young people is a major global priority. Building emotional competence (EC) skills via a mobile app may be an effective, scalable and acceptable way to do this. However, few large-scale controlled trials have examined the efficacy of mobile apps in promoting mental health in young people; none have tailored the app to individual profiles. Method/design The Emotional Competence for Well-Being in Young Adults cohort multiple randomised controlled trial (cmRCT) involves a longitudinal prospective cohort to examine well-being, mental health and EC in 16–22 year olds across 12 months. Within the cohort, eligible participants are entered to either the PREVENT trial (if selected EC scores at baseline within worst-performing quartile) or to the PROMOTE trial (if selected EC scores not within worst-performing quartile). In both trials, participants are randomised (i) to continue with usual practice, repeated assessments and a self-monitoring app; (ii) to additionally receive generic cognitive-behavioural therapy self-help in app; (iii) to additionally receive personalised EC self-help in app. In total, 2142 participants aged 16 to 22 years, with no current or past history of major depression, bipolar disorder or psychosis will be recruited across UK, Germany, Spain, and Belgium. Assessments take place at baseline (pre-randomisation), 1, 3 and 12 months post-randomisation. Primary endpoint and outcome for PREVENT is level of depression symptoms on the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 at 3 months; primary endpoint and outcome for PROMOTE is emotional well-being assessed on the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale at 3 months. Depressive symptoms, anxiety, well-being, health-related quality of life, functioning and cost-effectiveness are secondary outcomes. Compliance, adverse events and potentially mediating variables will be carefully monitored. Conclusions The trial aims to provide a better understanding of the causal role of learning EC skills using interventions delivered via mobile phone apps with respect to promoting well-being and preventing poor mental health in young people. This knowledge will be used to develop and disseminate innovative evidence-based, feasible, and effective Mobile-health public health strategies for preventing poor mental health and promoting well-being. The 15-item Positive Career Goal Discrepancy Scale was developed to assess emerging adults’ appraisals of the extent to which their current career progress exceeds their set career goals. We generated 32 items based on a literature review, focus groups, and expert reviews, used EFA ( N = 244, M age 18.7 years; 65% women) to reduce the number of items, and CFA ( N = 254, M age 18.7 years; 68% women) to confirm the factor structure and demonstrate superior reliability at the total score level (ω reliability = .91). Validity testing demonstrated that the scale was distinct from a measure of negative career goal discrepancy and related, as expected, to constructs in the nomological net: correlated positively with career satisfaction and optimism, and negatively with negative career goal discrepancy. The scale is a useful addition to the career literature and is likely to stimulate research into positive career goal progress in young people.
