This study is aimed to scrutinize the relationship between satisfaction and concern with an individual’s physical appearance and the subjective estimation of economic status, which is considered as one of main predictors of life satisfaction. Recent research has focused on the role of real economic status on different aspects of human life, including satisfaction and concern with own appearance. In contrast with such studies, our investigation is focused on a subjective-comparative approach to economic status evaluation. According to this approach, the participants have to identify themselves either with the group “rather poor than rich” or with the group “rather rich than poor”. We hypothesize that satisfaction and concern with own appearance in youth varies as a factor of subjective evaluation of economic status. The participants were 41 male and 82 female undergraduate and graduate students of different majors, aged 20–35. Of the subjects, 62% estimated their economic status as “rather poor than rich” and 38% of participants identified themselves with the group “rather rich than poor”. The paper-pencil questionnaires “Attitudes towards Own Appearance: Satisfaction and Concern” and “Subjective Evaluation of Economic Status” were administered. Results indicates that subjective evaluation of economic status has a stronger association with satisfaction with one’s own physical appearance in comparison with concern over one’s own appearance.

The scientific problem of economics “Managing the quality of human life” is formulated on the basis of artificial intelligence, algebra of logic and logical-probabilistic calculus. Managing the quality of human life is represented by managing the processes of his treatment, training and decision making. Events in these processes and the corresponding logical variables relate to the behavior of a person, other persons and infrastructure. The processes of the quality of human life are modeled, analyzed and managed with the participation of the person himself. Scenarios and structural, logical and probabilistic models of managing the quality of human life are given. Special software for quality management is described. The relationship of human quality of life and the digital economy is examined. We consider the role of public opinion in the management of the “bottom” based on the synthesis of many studies on the management of the economics and the state. The bottom management is also feedback from the top management.

Abnormal cervical is still  in high levels of  which marked by the outbreak of the Human Papilloma Virus, It is not offset by the use of vaccination (HPV) Human Papilloma Virus which as the primary prevention of the spread of Human Papilloma Virus . recorded in Dara Jingga clinic in  2015, there were 226 people in the state of the cervix abnormal while those who making vaccination extremely low at only 40 people. Likewise, in 2016 there were 301 people in a state of abnormal cervical and vaccinated only 16 people . Based on it, this research is the research which aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge, economic status, family role and the role of health personnel  against the Human Papilloma Virus vaccination in Dara Jingga Clinic  Jambi City. This research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional design, the data collected through questionnaires, with a population was 321 people. using  acidental sampling technique with  sample was 32 people, research has been conducted on 22 to 24 August 2016 using univariate  and bivariate analysis assisted by a computer program. The results of the univariate analysis of vaccination picture were 10 respondents (31.3%) take advantage of HPV vaccination and 22 respondents (68,8%) did not take advantage of the HPV vaccination, an overview of knowledge were five respondents (15,6%) have sufficient knowledge, 15 respondents (46,9%) had a good knowledge,12 respondents (37,5%) had poor knowledge, an overview of economic status,  13 respondents (40,6%) had high economic status and  19 respondents (59,4% ) have lower economic status, description of the role of health workers13 respondents (40,6%) have a good role of health personnel and  19 respondents (59,4%) has the role of health personnel is not good. Overview of the role of the family, 11 respondents (34,4%) has the role of a good family and  21 respondents (65,6%) had a family roles goodles. the result of these studies show a relationship between the mother's knowledge by vaccination with HPV (Human Papilloma Virus ) with a p value of 0,035, the relationship between economic status with vaccination HPV (Human Papilloma Virus with p value 0,002, their relationship with the role of HPV vaccination of health workers with p value 0,002, their relationship with the family role of HPV vaccination with a p value of 0,004.Keywords: Knowledge, Economic Status, Role of health personnel, Role of Family,HPV Vaccination (Human Papilloma Virus)

Unity is one of the fundamental tools for social security in human life and Islamic Educational institutions in Cameroon are not excluded. The present study aimed at identifying the main roles and Educational needs of Islamic Educational institutions in Cameroon in bringing about Intellectual unity. The descriptive analytical approach was used as a research methodology. The research has come up with the following findings: The spread of misconceptions among individuals is the main cause of weak and limited results of educational work. Due to this, the relationship between those institutions and the society in its formal framework remains negative. The Islamic Educational institutions in Cameroon have been playing an important role in the service of religion and society in order to preserve peace and unity, but despite its tangible achievements they still face challenges in some aspect, such as academic challenges, scientific developments, and Educational supervision, which were identified as obstacle to functional integration. In conclusion, it is recommended to develop a strategic and effective programs in which all the Islamic Educational institutions of Cameroon are involved in order to erase the misconceptions causing intellectual disunity. These should involve dissemination of pure Islamic values, modern technical and professional educational courses, besides promoting solidarity, religious and cultural cohesion in order to address the diverse challenges of the enemies of religion and society.

This chapter discusses the relationship of William James (1842–1910) and John Dewey (1859–1952). In particular, it attempts to tease out the ways in which Dewey’s thought drew upon ideas presented earlier by James. Among the Jamesian themes that appear in Dewey’s work are Dewey’s melioristic, pragmatic account of social practice; his emphasis upon the importance of habits in organized human life; his presentation of the role of philosophy as a means of improving daily life; his recognition of the social nature of the self; and his call for a rejection of religious traditions and institutions in favor of an emphasis upon religious experience. Clarifying Dewey’s relationship with James should in no way lessen the value of Dewey’s thought. Rather, it makes clearer the continuities that existed between these two pragmatic thinkers.

Abstract: Learning is a process that can not be separated from human life. Psychic impulse to learn is the motivation to learn. In the learning process, parents are among the factors that have a role. This study aims to determine the relationship of socio-economic status of parents with students' learning motivation. Data were collected through questionnaires. The results showed there was no correlation between socio-economic status of parents with learning motivation of Medicine Faculty Sam Ratulangi University class of 2013 students p = 0.444 (p > 0.05) and the correlation value is -0.062. It can be concluded that there was no correlation between socioeconomic status of parents with students’ learning motivation.Keywords: socio-economic status, learning motivationAbstrak : Belajar merupakan proses yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia,, Dorongan psikis dalam diri untuk belajar merupakan motivasi belajar. Pengambilan data melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi orangtua dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa angkatan 2013 Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sam Ratulangi p=0,444 (p > 0,05) dan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,062. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara status sosial ekonomi orangtua dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.Kata kunci: Status sosial ekonomi, motivasi belajar

<p>In bio-ethics, the potential practical and ethical implications of radical life extension are being seriously debated. However, the role of motivation in relation to dramatically increasing the human life span has been largely overlooked. I propose that motivation is a crucial aspect to consider within the radical life extension discourse by conjecturing about why it might appeal and the possible ways it could impact outcomes where it is successfully developed and implemented. I do not thereby present an argument that supports or opposes radical life extension technology. This is ultimately a speculative piece. In exploring the relationship between motivation and radical life extension, I present a conceptual framework called the Thanatophobic and Romantic Motivational Spectrum (TRM Spectrum) designed to assist deeper examination on the subject. It captures what I suggest are two key motivators related to life and death, that is, the fear of death (Thanatophobia) and the “love” of life (Romanticism). The motivational spectrum is then applied to the death penalty versus life imprisonment, and euthanasia and suicide debates to demonstrate how it can be used for analysis of ethical issues in relation to the potential introduction of radical life extension technology.</p>
