The article provides a theoretical analysis of the problems of scientific research dedicated to training of specialists for the economic industry. As a result of the theoretical analysis, the classification of modern researches on the problem of training of future economists has been carried out: 1) research that examines problems that are common not only for the training of future economists but also systemic problems for other specialists’ training; 2) research that analyzes the problems aimed at preparation of future economists for a certain type of activity necessary for their profession, or is related to the ways of improvement of the quality of future economists’ professional training as well as the formation of pedagogical competence among future specialists in the economic field, that is, the training of teachers of economic disciplines; 3) scientific research on comparative professional pedagogy related to training of specialists in economic specialties in other countries of the world. There has been presented the classification of scientific research related to the scientific degree for which the research was submitted: in doctoral dissertations there were raised the problems which are systemic for training of not only future economists but other specialists too. A candidate level research is more focused on individual problems of future economists’ professional training, improving the quality of professional training of future economists. It has been stressed that studies aimed at studying foreign experience of economists’ training are still not sufficient, although due attention is paid to such countries as the USA, Great Britain and Germany. The research aimed at studying the experience of the Republic of Poland, which is Ukraine’s neighbour and is close to it in culture and history, has been noted as insufficient.

The article focuses on the study of suicide worldwide and Ukraine in particular. The phenomenon of suicide is relevant in all corners of the world, it affects people of all nations, cultures, religions, articles, and classes. The scientific community in many countries around the world demonstrates indifference to the problem of suicide; Accordingly, suicide is gradually becoming one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Thus, suicide ranks 15th among the leading causes of death. WHO statistics show that suicide is committed twice as often as murder, and emphasizes that this phenomenon is global and reaches critical levels every year. We have analyzed the regulatory framework for suicide at the global level. For example, over the last decades, since 2000, due to the incredible efforts of WHO, this problem has begun to receive national attention. In the developed world, many regulations on suicide prevention have been developed and adopted. In the course of scientific research, we found out that suicide and Ukraine is the seventh cause of death, which confirms the criticality of the problem and the need for its fastest solution. We believe that there is a need today to support such categories of persons as children and young people, servicemen, convicts, and the elderly. The article examines the experience of such foreign countries as the USA, Azerbaijan, Israel, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, and other European countries of the world. Finding out what prevention and prevention measures they have implemented in national suicide prevention programs, we see the possibility of their implementation in Ukraine and are convinced of their effectiveness. According to the results of scientific research, we will develop an administrative and legal mechanism for suicide prevention in Ukraine, which can work if all the steps of the algorithm for reducing suicide rates are fulfilled. Keywords: suicide, administrative and legal mechanism, the algorithm of actions, statistics, suicide rate.

Norway’s first clinic to treat drug abuse was established in 1961. Most patients had been initiated into drug use through the healthcare system, i.e., in an iatrogenic manner. However, we know little about the drug users from this period. Here, we present an in-depth interview with a woman born into a wealthy family in the early 1920s who developed a heavy morphine addiction. In the course of the interview, she gradually reveals how her husband, who was a physician, as well as two other physicians, who were also erotically attracted to her, had key roles in this development. The narrative illustrates and elaborates how females from the upper strata of society with close links to male physicians may have been at particular risk of opioid misuse in the period before 1960. We now witness a new wave of iatrogenic drug abuse, particularly in the USA. We suggest that experiences from this period may again be relevant.

Scientific research in the communication field has experienced great growth in recent years. Recent technological changes, as well as the emergence of Web 2.0 and 3.0 and new forms of communication, such as social networks, have led to new and varied studies in the discipline. This paper analyzes the scientific production of the 27 countries with the greatest scientific production in the communication field in the period from 2003 to 2018. The results indicate that: the most productive countries are the USA, UK, and Spain; there is less international collaboration than in other disciplines, but there is a network of European collaboration that is quite dense and has great impact, and another network in Pacific countries (Asia + Oceania), albeit with lower density and impact. Projections of future trends in any field must be somewhat subjective; this assessment of future research on rotorcraft is no exception. However, an effort has been made at objectivity by presenting results of past and current research efforts as a foundation from which the projections are made. These projected trends are solely the opinion of the author and do not represent the policy of any agency within Government or industry, nor are they committal in any sense. Although some illustrations are derived from specific systems under investigation, the general intent of the paper is to avoid discussion of systems and to present illustrations representative of basic problems in the field of rotorcraft for which research effort can be expected to yield significant advance in performance and design.

Environmental pollution is affecting the daily lives of all beings on planet Earth in one way or the other. The prevention, reduction, and elimination of pollution is becoming one of the major objectives of governments all over the world. R&D is going on in several laboratories to reduce the emissions from automobiles. The USA, which has the highest number of automobiles in the world, is pushing for lower emissions. As a result of this concern for environmental pollution, major efforts are underway to develop electric vehicles. In this paper, the present trends and requirements of the primary electric propulsion components — the battery, the motor, and the power converter — are presented. The status of electric vehicle technology and future trends are reviewed.

The article addresses G. I. Chelpanov’s trip to the USA in 1911, where he went during the construction of the Psychological Institute at Moscow University to get acquainted with the organization of psychological institutes and laboratories, where the most prominent scientists J. M. Cattell, R. Woodworth, E. B. Titchener, J.R. Angell, H. A. Carr, C. H. Judd, J. F. Shepard, W. B. Pillsbury, S. Hall, G. Münsterberg and many others worked, the structure and principles of the research led by them left a great impression. Speaking upon his arrival in Moscow, he repeatedly returns to his American memories. The beginning of the twentieth century was marked by the emergence of applied psychology, and one of the areas was labor psychology. The American scientist of German origin G. Münsterberg is the internationally recognized founder of applied psychology, whose works G. I. Chelpanov knew and followed. It was its development that became the subject of discussion in his speeches in 1911 and 1912. The main questions that demanded an immediate answer were the areas of application of applied psychology and personalities who would implement this in Russia. It was the modern and equipped with the most modern devices Psychological Institute that was supposed to prepare for future scientific research those young people who would soon be engaged in applied psychology. And so, it happened - since 1912 the Psychological Institute was opened, where G. I. Chelpanov’s ideas were manifested. In 1921, already in Soviet Russia, he returned to the topic of applied psychology, which already had a specific name - labor psychology. He outlined the tasks that needed to be addressed in the near future, which, as the practice of the 1920s and 1930s showed, were solved by Soviet scientists.
