ABSTRACT We present the first draft whole-genome sequence for the Parmales (Bolidophyceae, Heterokonta), a picoplanktonic sister group of diatoms, using a Triparma laevis f. inornata strain that was isolated from the Oyashio region in the western North Pacific Ocean.
