The article reveals the implementation of innovative e-learning technologies in the process of mastering the discipline “Foreign language in the professional direction” by students of agricultural universities. Actual approaches to teaching humanities require the use of information-communication technologies (ICT) for educational purposes, that allows increasing the volume of educational materials and modernizing it with the help of multimedia presentation tools. The application of information-communication technologies contributes to the students’ mastering of foreign languages knowledge as a tool of communication in a global society and the development of their information competencies. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the content, structure and objectives of the electronic training course on learning English, German, Ukrainian and Russian as foreign languages for students of the distance learning form of Sumy National Agrarian University. The presented distance learning course is an innovative development exemplar, that provides learners’ study of educational textual, audio and video materials in the mode of independent work with a computer and facilitates regulating the order of interaction of students with a computer. Such interaction contributes to the improvement of the efficiency of the educational process through the introduction of new methods and means of teaching educational materials; stimulates students’ interest in the study of foreign languages through the use of innovative information-communication technologies; responsiveness of the feedback and the possibility of direct consultation with the teacher in the educational environment of the Moodle platform. The analysis of the experimental study results showed predominantly sufficient and high levels of humanitarian knowledge in experimental groups that were trained on the basis of the electronic course in the educational environment of Moodle platform; in contrast to the low and initial levels in the control groups.

[full article, abstract in English; abstract in Lithuanian] The article examines the modern computer-based educational environment and the requirements of the possible cognitive interface that enables the learner’s cognitive grounding by incorporating abductive reasoning into the educational process. Although the main emphasis is on cognitive and physiological aspects, the practical tools for enabling computational thinking in a modern constructionist educational environment are discussed. The presented analytical material and developed solutions are aimed at education with computers. However, the proposed solutions can be generalized in order to create a computer-free educational environment. The generalized paradigm here is pragmatism, considered as a philosophical assumption. By designing and creating a pragmatist educational environment, a common way of organizing computational thinking that enables constructionist educational solutions can be found.

Problem and goal. The active introduction of e-learning and distance learning technologies in the educational process, the reform of traditional models of learning and education have become priority areas of reforms and initiatives in various national education systems in the 21st century. Given that public spending is the main source of funding for education in the OECD countries, assessing the economic impact of implementing a digital educational environment at different levels of education under pressure on public budgets has become a key issue for national governments and educational organizations, as well as the subject of special research. In Russian practice assessment of the economic effect of the full-scale use of e-learning and distance learning technologies in the implementation of educational programs of secondary professional (training of middle-level specialists) and higher education have not yet been carried out. For these purposes, a methodology has been developed, which, however, needs to be tested. Results. The study identified a list of costs required to ensure the full use of e-learning and distance educational technologies in realization of educational programs of secondary vocational (training of mid-level professionals) and higher (including graduate school) education; the methodlogy for assessing the economic effect of these measures is justified, and calculations are made based on this methodology. Conclusion. The developed methodology has shown its effectiveness and needs further research and quantitative analysis.

The article actualizes the problem of motivation, which has always been and remains the main vector in achieving the goals, including educational ones, for any person. The distance format for teaching foreign languages also raises the problem of maintaining the motivation and involvement of both students and teachers in the educational process. All this plunges into the need to consider and analyze the pros and cons of distance learning foreign languages, to determine its significant focus on the development of innovative technologies, to identify and classify difficulties, to see the causes of possible risks associated with a decrease in motivation. The solution to the problem is seen in a special system of measures to influence motivation in the virtual educational environment, which meets the challenges of today.

The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze risk factors for the safety of the educational environment in the situation of the COVID - 19. The research methodology: two stages of monitoring the safety risk factors of the school educational environment during the transition and adaptation to distance learning conditions: 1) Express survey (aimed at identifying associations and visual images of the coronavirus situation, assessing anxiety and anxiety and risk factors, self-prevention measures in a pandemic situation);2) online survey. The study involved 76 students in grades 5 and 6 of the Moscow School No. 1505 (34%m., 66% f.). Results. The most significant risks for experiencing psychological well-being in younger adolescents during self-isolation and distant education were the lack of real communication with friends, teachers, restriction in favorite activities, difficulties with self-organization, lack of free time, eye fatigue, restricted movement, difficulties in self-organization and motivation to study, hypercontrol on the part of parents. The changed conditions have led to the reorganization of the school's psychological service, focusing on support and individualized psychological assistance to students, parents, and teachers in solving the triad of life tasks: prevention of maladaptation, failure; adaptation to the new, resilience, development, and growth; sharing responsibility with other participants in the educational process (teachers, class leaders); crisis intervention (on current requests); proactive response to potential risks.

The relevance of the study is due to the need to find ways to ensure the psychological safety of distance educational environment, as well as the lack of development of characteristics and safety indicators of the educational process during distance learning at school. The main research methods were theoretical methods aimed at creating theoretical generalizations, determining the content of teachers’ readiness to ensure psychological safety in the context of distance learning and empirical methods that identify the main components of readiness using a research methodology. The article discusses the results of a study of the readiness of teachers to ensure psychological safety in the context of distance learning in three components: a) the operational component, which is represented by communicative, constructive and gnostic skills that determine the teacher’s behavior in ensuring safe and comfortable interaction with distance learning; b) the reflexive component involves understanding the problem of safe-comfortable interaction in the context of distance learning and identifying ways to solve it based on introspection of one’s activities; c) the activity component is represented by the personal experience of the teacher in using special ways of working with students to ensure psychological safety in the distance educational environment. The conditions for teaching teachers to develop their competence to ensure the psychological safety of distance learning environments are defined: mastering the methods of organizing the educational process, ways to maintain the self-organization of the educational process, building an individual motivational system for the student and emotional support in real distance learning.
