This study aims to analyze the problem of waqf management from the point of view of regulators, nazhir and wakif. The research object is the management of waqf in the Yogyakarta Special Province with respondents from the Department of Religion of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the Yogyakarta branch of the Al-Qur'an Waqf Board, and the wakif who are domiciled in Yogyakarta. The research approach uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with the aim of formulating strategic solutions in the management of waqf. This study found that there are still many waqf that provide their waqf assets without going through an official waqf management institution. AHP's priority solutions include providing convenience to services for nazhir. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out intensive training for nazhir so that the management of waqf can be more optimal so as to increase public confidence in waqf in official waqf institutions. In addition, this study also recommends an increase in the accountability of waqf management. The accountability of waqf management can be realized in the form of periodic reports that are presented directly to the wakifs or through media in accordance with the local character of the community. Keywords:  Accountability, Waqf Management, Analytic Hierarchy Process  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis masalah pengelolaan wakaf dari sudut pandang regulator, nazhir dan wakif. In this paper we investigate the most prominent drivers of brand equity, from a consumer-based point of view. We present a new approach for measuring brand equity, which can be applied regardless of the brand sector and is based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process. This approach has the main advantage of allowing for comparisons to be made between non-directly measurable elements and also has the advantage of enabling the ranking of intangible criteria, such as consumers' feelings or purchase intentions. We focus on the fashion industry, since we believe in the higher value of our approach when applied to brands which offer products with less tangible characteristics. Thanks to a case study – which involved about 250 interviewees – we succeed in finding and prioritizing the elements which can have an impact on the brand value. We also provide a global ranking for three apparel brands: Gap, H&M and Zara. The results from our model are consistent with other popular ratings and can be extremely useful for brand managers.

Abstract The present work has as main objective the development and presentation of a model for supplier’s evaluation. The proposed model includes the criteria of the lean concept and provides a comprehensive analysis for decision-making in the area of supplies. The work involved 05 steps: (i) identify and select the main criteria for lean suppliers management; (ii) perform the weighting of criteria using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process); (iii) define the indicators to be used for the suppliers analysis in every sub-criteria; (iv) calculate the relative weight of each indicator through the analysis of interdependence between the sub-criteria and indicators; (v) testing partially the model through the application of the same in a product group in the reality of a company. The main contribution of this paper is to propose a model that combines the method AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) used for multiple criteria decision-making method with QFD (Quality Function Deployment) able to translate these criteria in guidelines for the supply management. From a practical point of view, the importance of this article is to present a relatively simple model for the systematization of building supply indicators. The obtained results recommend the use of this template.

In the construction industry, there are two methods for constructing basements (Top-Down) and (Bottom-UP). The difference between them lies in the sequence of works, since in the (Bottom-Up) method the end of the excavation work is the necessary condition for the beginning of the substructure construction, and this is different from the (Top Down) method where excavation and construction of the substructure and the superstructure are carried out in parallel, which significantly reduces the project duration but at the same time increases the construction cost. Also there is a difference in terms of use for each of these two methods, for example, it is preferable to use the (Top-Down) in dense urban areas, where there is not enough space for the construction and where there are concerns that the adjacent buildings may be deformed as a result of construction, and this is what the (Bottom-Up) method cannot provide. In order to determine the optimal method from a mathematical point of view, 7 main criteria and 25 sub-criteria were identified, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to solve this multi-criteria problem. Using the Expert Choice software, we found that the (Top-Down) method is preferred by 14.8% more than (Bottom-Up), and a sensitivity analysis was performed to determine which criteria dominated our optimal result.

AbstractThe first phase of any hydraulic fracturing (HF) operation is to select carefully the best layers and wells based on a specific set of criteria. Selecting HF candidates plays a pivotal role in achieving the desired objective such that any attempt to execute this treatment fails without performing comprehensive studies in this regard. In this paper, data from 3 wells in a fractured carbonate reservoir in one of the biggest oilfields of Iran are studied for selecting the best HF candidate. Of these wells, which are comprised of 45 evaluated layers, the best candidate wells/layers are selected from a geomechanical point of view. Initially, a new fracability index appropriate for carbonate reservoirs, namely total fracability index (TFI), is defined. This index integrates mechanical properties and horizontal stresses into an equation. In the next step, four main criteria, namely layer thickness, TFI, natural fractures state (including orientation and density), and fracture confinement, are employed to choose the candidate layers in the wells. Lastly, having used these criteria and analytic hierarchy process, candidate intervals are selected and a hydraulic fracturing simulation model (P3D) is used for evaluation.

The determination of elective courses for students is one of many things that require some complex considerations. This complexity is motivated by psychological and non-psychological factors of human beings such as: learning motivation, lecturer and previous learning experience. Many students found difficulties if they have to decide in a complex options in which has the identical option. Thus, they made their decisions based on just one perceived factors alone without taking into account other factors which have great importance as well. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is one method that can be used as an appropriate decision supporting tool to reduce the complexity of decision making process. AHP provides analysis in the form of selected course recommendations that have a weight of rankings to the level of importance of each preferred alternative. This study was a preliminary study subjected to construct the real consideration from students’ point of view. In which very important to create a hierarchical perspective order for decision making process in both sides, student and education provider which was on Accounting Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta.
