Currently, the rational use of land resources, identification of problems of their implementation, development of key areas and implementation of measures to improve the efficiency of economic use of the land fund plays an important role in strengthening the economy of the region, and is also important for increasing the volume of agricultural products. The aim of the study was to analyze the efficiency of land use in the regions of the European North of Russia (ESR). The article summarizes the theoretical aspects of the study, which emphasized the importance of land, which is the main means of agricultural production, considered the concept of economic efficiency of land use in agriculture, the existing system of indicators of land use efficiency according to various scientists, the author’s system of relative and natural indicators of land use efficiency; the analysis of the effectiveness of land use in the ESR. The characteristic feature of these territories, such as the gradual reduction of agricultural land due to soil degradation and misuse of land resources, is noted. It is emphasized that the necessary condition for ensuring the growth of agricultural production and sustainable development of the region is a stable provision of state support at a sufficient level. In conclusion, the article proposes a set of tools aimed at the implementation of the existing land potential of the regions of the European North of Russia. Among them-agrotechnical, meliorative and organizational and economic measures, the implementation of which will contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture and the economy of the region as a whole.

Benign coordinating relations can promote sustainable use of land resources and improve of the ecological environment quality and excessive exploitation and utilization of the land resources will only aggravate the ecological environment vulnerability and further restrict the sustainable development and utilization of the land resources. This paper, from the perspective of basic current situation of Xinjiang, by using the coupling evaluation model and principal component analyze, on the basis of coupling relationship, studies both the degree of coupling relationship and the influence mechanism and analyzes the dynamic evolution process of development and utilization of land and ecological environment in 2000 ~ 2010,. The results of the study show that: (1) the development of land use intensity and ecological environment shows fluctuation state on the whole. Although environment has been improved in recent two years, but both the coordinated development is still faced with great pressure. (2) The dynamic evolution relationship between the development of land use and ecological environment does not meet the long-term equilibrium relationship and the ecological and environmental benign condition is not obviously. presented This paper holds that: adhering to synchronization of the development of land use and ecological environment improvement, and sustaining relatively stable operation mechanism of ecological environment can maintain the sustainable development of regional economy.

Land carrying capacity is an important indicator to quantitatively assess and judge the extents of sustainable economic developing and coexistent harmonizing between human and nature. The significance of land carrying capacity has been highlighted recently by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, which set clear requirements for arable, construction, and ecological lands. Theories and models of land carrying capacity, however, are suffering from the interference of artificial parameter setting and poor applicability. This paper attempts to overcome these limitations and propose a single factor assessment of the carrying capacity of cultivated land, construction land, and ecological land in terms of the relative carrying capacity from the perspective of a single factor assessment. Through mutual comparison, we found that the deviation caused by simulated parameter setting has been eliminated, and the relative status of each province and/or region in China has been obtained, which could provide a reference for the management and utilization of land resources. We argue that China can achieve basic self-sufficiency in both space capacity and food production without placing pressure on the global sustainable development. The results also indicate that carrying capacity state of the advanced development areas such as the eastern coastal region is relatively poor, while the carrying capacity state of the western region is relatively good.

Despite the rapidly growing expenditure on digital advertising, the effectiveness of the functioning of the digital advertising ecosystem is becoming less and less visible. This is related to the fact that only a small part of the expenditure incurred by organizations on various forms of digital advertising brings the expected results. For several years now, a phenomenon that stifles the effectiveness of the digital advertising ecosystem and deteriorates the ROI (return on investment) of advertisers has been the widespread practice of blocking advertising, known as ad-blocking. In this context, the aim of this article is to analyze the scale of the phenomenon of ad-blocking and its causes in terms of its impact on the effectiveness of the functioning of the digital advertising ecosystem and its sustainable development, which is extremely important from the point of view of the development of electronic commerce. In order to carry out this study, a literature analysis was conducted on the genesis of this phenomenon, its scale, causes, and economic effects. After this stage of research, in order to obtain primary data, a questionnaire survey was conducted on a group of individual Internet users. The results of the research indicated three main reasons for the development of ad-blocking. These are: excessive number of advertisements, their excessive invasiveness, and the mismatch between the advertisements displayed to the user and the user’s interests. In the context of these results and of the continued sustainable functioning of the digital advertising ecosystem, it is essential that the advertising industry be able to offer users alternatives to ad-blocking that they consider valuable from their own point of view and that take the users’ expectations into account.

The sustainable development goals (SDGs) for 2030 are established to address global challenges including environment and human well-being. The SDGs are interconnected and achievement of them requires consideration of the planet’s ecosystems and resources - land, water and air. Ecosystem services (ES) approach has a high potential for better planning, policy and decision making. Understanding how different ecosystems (e.g., forests, rivers, wetlands, grasslands) contribute to the social and economic benefits is critical to ensure the long-term biodiversity protection and sustainable use of ecosystems. A conceptual framework linking biodiversity and ecosystem condition (its structure and functions), and ES to human well-being has been well-established in EU by so called MAES process (Mapping and Assessment of Ecosystem Services) lead by the European Commission. The framework is applied in recent research studies and projects, as well as national MAES processes. Various methods are applied for MAES in terms to determine biophysical, economic and social values and to deliver integrated ecosystem assessment. Assessment of ES and trade off analysis shall provide a new perspective for land use planning and decision making at different administrative and spatial levels and in different sectoral policies. EU and national policies for instance on agriculture, fishery, forestry, climate should account the benefits provided by relevant ecosystems and to ensure that the values are not diminished but rather enhanced during the implementation of the policies. Terrestrial and water ecosystems are interconnected as land-based human activities creates pressure that impacts the conditions in water ecosystems and thus delivery of ES by rivers and lakes. For example, intensive agricultural land use produces food for people and income; however, the activity also most frequently causes problems with water quality and quantity in the catchment area and a loss of biodiversity. A risk of such trade-off shall be handled in policy development. Ecosystems also contributes to the resilience of communities by reducing the risk of natural hazards and mitigate adverse impacts. Regulating services such as flood control are substituting investments in flood protection ensured by forests, wetlands and grasslands instead of human built infrastructure. Appropriate land cover and land use shall serve as a basic flood protection measure. Natural processes are increasingly recognised to create new-type solutions that use and deploy the properties of natural ecosystems and their services in an “engineered” way. A wide range of measures called also as nature-based solutions provide another opportunity to work with nature towards global sustainability.

Based on the relation between regional land use structure and sustainable utilization for land resources, we analyze the land use structure in Xuzhou City by entropy theory and GM(1,1) model in this paper. The results shows that Xuzhou information entropy is increasing year by year, the land use structure in Xuzhou city develops gradually from order to a relatively disorder state, the equilibrium degree is increasing and dominance degree is decreasing year by year. That shows that the land use structure in Xuzhou City is evolving to equilibrium state. So the shortage of land resources in Xuzhou city will become more and more prominent, and adjust strategy of regional development urgent needed.
