This paper describes religious moderation based on culture and local wisdom in the Donggo community in Bima. This paper examines the standpoint of culture and local wisdom in assessing religious moderation for the Donggo community. This research is a historical research with a socio-cultural approach. The input methodology is the flow of the flow in the historical methodology which takes the stages of heuristic, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results showed that the Donggo area (Dana Donggo) is a place for culture and local wisdom as well as a role model for diversity in the midst of religious plurality. Interestingly, religious moderation in the Donggo (Dou Donggo) community is actually united by a variety of cultural expressions and local wisdom, not because of religious factors. Meanwhile, religious moderation is increasingly taking root in the midst of religious plurality because it is supported by the use of symbols, identities and rites of ‘Raju Culture’ as social glue without religious barriers.

This paper seeks to provide a sociological reinterpretation ofIslam’s presence in the Ado-Ekiti kingdom by unraveling the variousessentially sociopolitical and economic factors that, alongwith religious factors, account for its emergence and growth. Ihave adopted a historical methodology (narrative) to understandand explain its appearance, functions, and contributions in thekingdom. This will be supplemented with material found in publicand private libraries, archives and museums, and artifacts. The paper reveals that the exact date of Islam’s introduction remainsunknown and that local Muslims worshipped in secret until1836, when a Muslim named Ali Atewogboye ascended thethrone. He and his successor gave Islam a strong foundation dueto their sociopolitical and economic motivations. The paper closeswith an account of the factors that facilitated Islam’s spread, theproblems faced by local Muslims, and how they have tried to resolvethese problems.

This study examines the Hijrah group in Indonesia as a social and theological movement. Except to be a role model, Hijrah is also interpreted as an effort to get closer to Allah. Today, the understanding of the Hijrah values seems to have shifted and formed a polarization of ignorance in religion with the exclusivity of the group's reason. Hijrah principally is not just a matter of strengthening the religious values symbolically, but also the mission of building an open mind on social and religious plurality. This study uses a literary method and phenomenological descriptive and the socio-theological reason approach of Muhammed Arkoun. The results show that a reason can be formed by a structural systematization model of a group. Hijrah is seen as shifting religious labeling, only existing in the crowd that eventually creates a logical deadlock and forms a new social class. As a result, it is clear that the Hijrah group does not offer individual independence but gives birth to a generation with exclusive minded.

In this article historical research into Haggai’s eschatological sayings (Hg 2:6–9, 20–23) is combined with a homiletic approach to these two sayings, employing a canon-historical methodology. First, Haggai’s silence about the past of the, in 539 bcreturned, exiles is investigated. His evaluation of this period will be compared with the one by Ezra-Nehemiah. His emphasis on the present time as decision time with a view to the eschatological future, will be examined. Attention will be given to the role the rebuilt temple played in his prophecies, and the kind of contribution he made to prophetic eschatology. Secondly, the homiletic approach to Haggai’s eschatological sayings requires a canonical reflection on their relationship with the New Testament eschatology with a view to strengthen the community of faith’s eschatological prospects in the present time.

The accuracy of any historical research depends on independent verification of the related data and the completeness of available sources. According to nineteenth-century French historians, "Documents make History", which means that all available written sources are equally important for solving a particular task. In this aspect, classification of historical sources can be of great help. Like any classification, it groups its objects according to the presence or absence of an essential feature. Perhaps, the most famous methodological school was founded in Novosibirsk by S. S. Rozova, who dealt with issues of scientific classification. In the modern domestic tradition of the historical methodology, classification of historical sources is one of the most important research steps. It allows historians to give a genuine scientific character to their studies. However, classification of sources is not a mechanical action. As a creative process, it leads to variability. The present article introduces a comparative analysis of two classifications of historical sources on the history of Yakutia, which belonged to N. N. Ogloblin and V. F. Ivanov. N. N. Ogloblin created a detailed classification of sources, which covers the main groups of customs documentation. However, his second volume was found lacking.

Abstract: Indonesia is a plural state. Not only ethnicity, race and group, but also plural in religion where religious plurality is also a separate problem. The problem of religious plurality raises many problems that cause friction in life together. The linguistic cultural approach offered by George A. Lindbeck provides an alternative for relations for believers of diverse religion. Lindbeck's offer consistently provides space for the identity of the believer's faith without having to equate with the faith of other religions. Likewise, consistently provide space for appreciation for other religious faiths.

The article analyses the features of the historical research of P.A. Florensky. It gives a review of the main works of the thinker, in which he formulates his understanding of history and historical knowledge. The article reveals the internal connection between the historical ideas of P.A. Florensky and his doctrine of discreteness and antinomicity as the universal principles of being as well as the philosopher's ideas about the immanent rhythms of the movement of culture. It shows the common grounds of P.A. Florensky`s ideas and the cultural-historical monadology of N.Y. Danilevsky, O. Spengler, A. Toynbee. The historical methodology proposed by P.A. Florensky denies the laws of «direct perspective». P.A. Florensky’s representations concerning the meaning of history and culture are analyzed. His understanding of historical crisis as a blessing harboring in itself the possibility of change and growth. He offers his own understanding of the «end of history» and «another» history, taking its standpoint from that a person’s change to a different qualitative state. In this context Florensky’s teachings view theocracy as the least hostile form of government and the ideas about «extrapresence» as the most reasonable form of political positioning. The refutation of the linearity of history, as if having some immanent intent and moving towards some kind of logical realization, is a sign that characterizes the historiosophical discourse of religious thinkers of the Silver Age.
