Many organizations have redesigned their measurement systems to ensure that they reflect their current environment and strategies. Thus, it is extremely important that the responsible manager knows all the strengths and weaknesses of his organization, having all the maturity axes mapped, highlighting his strengths and weaknesses, to anticipate problems, becoming a company with greater potential competitiveness, because the failure is not to ignore the problem, but to ignore it. Given this, when measuring the Maturity Level Index, you can get an overview of the organization, becoming a radar to know the strengths and weaknesses, thus providing a basis for formulating a decision making and strategy to implement actions to improve performance and organizational maturity. The Acatech Industrie 4.0 (AI4MI) + AHP maturity index has the principle of providing companies with a guide for this transformation, based on the assessment of weaknesses or disagreements with the objective in the action plans, thus obtaining a continuous improvement in the evaluated stages, generating knowledge from the data, to transform the company into an agile organization, with quick decision making and adaptation in multiple business scenarios and different areas of the company. This article presents a preliminary discussion on the benefits of this proposed model for analyzing the measurement of the ACATECH + AHP Maturity Level Index, as to its advantages, results, added value.

Abstract The present work has as main objective the development and presentation of a model for supplier’s evaluation. The proposed model includes the criteria of the lean concept and provides a comprehensive analysis for decision-making in the area of supplies. The work involved 05 steps: (i) identify and select the main criteria for lean suppliers management; (ii) perform the weighting of criteria using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process); (iii) define the indicators to be used for the suppliers analysis in every sub-criteria; (iv) calculate the relative weight of each indicator through the analysis of interdependence between the sub-criteria and indicators; (v) testing partially the model through the application of the same in a product group in the reality of a company. The main contribution of this paper is to propose a model that combines the method AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) used for multiple criteria decision-making method with QFD (Quality Function Deployment) able to translate these criteria in guidelines for the supply management. From a practical point of view, the importance of this article is to present a relatively simple model for the systematization of building supply indicators. The obtained results recommend the use of this template.

Goal: In this paper, a binomial model is proposed to evaluate the option of deferring an investment and expanding the operational scale of a forest-based company that will perform the de-duplication of Pinus sp. and will market packaging for storage and transportation of vegetables. Design/Methodology/Approach: The proposed model measured the options of deferring an investment and expanding the operational scale of the forest-based company. In this perspective, the model of evaluation used was the binomial model in discrete time using the Real Options. Results: It was observed that the inclusion of management flexibilities in the decision making process has added value to the investment project; therefore, the project of investments in real assets proved to be economically feasible. Limitations of the investigation: The studies that address the corporate finance framework based on real data are a restrictive factor, due to the lack of collaboration of companies, that is, the availability of information that is usually classified. Practical implications: The study was based on the real data of a company; therefore, it can be adopted as a stimulus to the Real Options approach to the decision making of entrepreneurs or researchers. Originality/value: The focus of the study was to contemplate the managerial flexibilities of an industry of the secondary sector of the Brazilian economy, which performs the unfolding of wood, demonstrating the innovation of the technique approach used in this market segment.

The purpose of this work is to propose a mathematical model of the optimal process for managing the organization›s maturity levels in the presence of interference in the source data. Changes in the organizational maturity of a company are described in terms of linear dynamic management systems. The proposed methodology for optimal management of the organization’s maturity level is demonstrated by the example of evaluating and forecasting the maturity level of one of the departments of a technical university. Baseline data is collected by assessing organizational maturity over several years. The paper uses the Kalman-Letov method of analytical design of optimal controllers, as well as a Kalman recursive filter that estimates the state vector of a dynamic system based on a number of incomplete and noisy data. The constructed model demonstrates plausible behavior in predicting the process of managing organizational maturity. The effect of accelerated growth of controlled indicators, identified as priority ones in the model, is reproduced. Using the Kalman filter allows you to create a control effect on the dynamics of organizational maturity indicators in such a way that the target values of maturity levels are achieved even in conditions significantly distorted when measuring the source data.

Intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations (IFPRs) have the natural ability to reflect the positive, the negative and the non-determinative judgements of decision makers. A decision making model is proposed by considering the inherent property of IFPRs in this study, where the main novelty comes with the introduction of the concept of additive approximate consistency. First, the consistency definitions of IFPRs are reviewed and the underlying ideas are analyzed. Second, by considering the allocation of the non-determinacy degree of decision makers’ opinions, the novel concept of approximate consistency for IFPRs is proposed. Then the additive approximate consistency of IFPRs is defined and the properties are studied. Third, the priorities of alternatives are derived from IFPRs with additive approximate consistency by considering the effects of the permutations of alternatives and the allocation of the non-determinacy degree. The rankings of alternatives based on real, interval and intuitionistic fuzzy weights are investigated, respectively. Finally, some comparisons are reported by carrying out numerical examples to show the novelty and advantage of the proposed model. It is found that the proposed model can offer various decision schemes due to the allocation of the non-determinacy degree of IFPRs.

Measuring and monitoring sustainability plays an essential role in impact assessment of global changes and development. Multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) represents a reliable and adequate technique for assessing sustainability, especially in the field of municipal buildings management, where numerous parameters and criteria are involved. This study presents an MCDM model for the sustainable decision-making, tailored to municipal residential buildings facilities management. The main outcome of this research concerned normalized and weighted decision-making matrixes, based on the complex proportion assessment (COPRAS) and weighted aggregated sum product assessment (WASPAS) methods, applied for ranking investment alternatives related to the management of the buildings. The delivered model was applied to 20 municipal buildings of Kaunas city municipality, located in Lithuania, which an EU member state employing practices and regulations in accordance with the EU acquis, as well as a former Soviet Republic. The proposed model aspires to enhance sustainability practices in the management of municipal buildings and to demonstrate a solid tool that will allow informed decision-making in the building management sector.
