Training on accounting questions using the 'Manager' software

This community is in the form of training to answer accounting questions using the MANAGER software. The training participants are students of SMAN 8, majoring in social studies and science, who are chosen by the accounting teacher. In carrying out the activities, participants consisted of teachers as well as tutor groups by 13%, students majoring in science by 27% and students majoring in social studies by 60%. The questions in this training are accounting questions consisting of workshops, housing developers and courier service companies. The result of this training is that all students stated that they felt they understood accounting better and learned more fun in answering questions. However, 72% of students stated that they have never used accounting software. In addition, 34% stated that sometimes they understand and sometimes do not understand accounting material.

Objective - Explore the data and information on strategic orientation and absorptive capability on value creation of courier service industry in Indonesia. Methodology/Technique - The nature of this research is descriptive and verification. The unit of analysis is the courier service industry, and a sample of 50 courier service companies operates in various regions in Indonesia. The time horizon is cross-sectional, where the research is done at a certain time. Primary data were collected by a questionnaire and interviews with companies execute vies and stakeholders. The analysis is done by using the model verification Partial Least Square (PLS). Findings - Strategic Orientation and Absorptive Capability simultaneouslyinfluence Value Creation. ABSTRACT:Control mechanism of consignments goods related to Narcotics, Psychotropics and Precursors (NPP) has always been an important issue, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is to determine the appropriate strategy for handling consignments through the post office at KPPBC TMP A Bandung. This paper uses a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and literature study. Internal and external factors are identified. SWOT matrix is made prior to analysis. Based on the results, optimizing the use of x-ray machines and narcotics testing equipment as well as updating the database needs to be done. Mutual collaboration with other agencies related to the NPP, namely BNN and POLRI, are required. Training need to be carried out to improve the visual x-ray analysis skills. A coordination with the Ministry of Health regarding the renewal of the NPP classification needs to be maintained. This research provides implications regarding the mechanism for determining new substances indicated to have NPP properties. This study limits the research object only handling consignments through the post office. Future research shall embrace on consignments good through courier service companies (PJT) in several customs offices with different characteristics.Keywords: SWOT analysis, strategy, narcotics, controlling, databaseABSTRAK:Pengawasan atas barang kiriman khususnya terkait upaya penyelundupan Narkotika, Psikotropika, dan Prekursor (NPP) selalu menjadi isu penting, terutama pada masa pandemi Covid-19.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan strategi yang tepat atas penanganan barang kiriman melalui kantor pos di KPPBC TMP A Bandung. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Faktor internal dan eksternal diidentifikasi dan dibuat matrik SWOT sebelum dilakukan analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, strategi yang perlu dilakukan adalah mengoptimalkan penggunaan mesin x-ray dan alat uji narkotika serta melakukan pembaharuan database. Kerjasama yang erat dengan instansi lain yang terkait NPP perlu dilakukan, yakni BNN dan POLRI. Pelatihan baik tingkat nasional maupun internasional perlu diberikan kepada pegawai DJBC agar meningkatkan kemampuan analisis visual x-ray. Terakhir, koordinasi dengan Kementerian Kesehatan terkait pembaharuan penetapan NPP jenis baru perlu dijalin agar upaya penindakan DJBC memiliki landasan hukumnya. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi kebijakan terkait mekanisme penetapan zat baru yang terindikasi memiliki sifat NPP. Obyek penelitian terbatas hanya terhadap barang kiriman yang melalui kantor pos KPPBC TMP A Bandung, tidak termasuk yang melalui mekanisme Perusahaan Jasa Titipan (PJT). Penelitian berikutnya dapat dilakukan terhadap barang kiriman yang melalui PJT di KPPBC lainnya.Kata Kunci: analisis SWOT, barang kiriman, npp, pengawasan, strategi

One of the key issues of the current courier services in Malaysia is the efficiency of the courier itself. In today's competition, many factors have recognized that influence the efficiency of courier services. Hence, numbers of analytical models and formu las were introduced to measure the efficiency of courier service. This paper presents a practical approach for identifying the level of customers’ satisfaction towards courier service companies using Data Envelopment Analysis and four courier services whic h were Poslaju, City - Link Express , J&T Expres s, and GD Express in Hulu Terengganu were selected. Data Envelopment Analysis is chosen in this study because it can deal with complex connections between several inputs and outputs on performance evaluation iss ues. The input criteria considered in this study are assurance, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, tangibility, and price. Meanwhile, customer satisfaction is chosen as the output criteria. The results showed that Poslaju is ranked as the most efficient company, followed by City - Link Express in second and J&T Express as the third. The least efficiency score obtained makes GD Express as the last ranked courier service among these four courier services. Furthermore, the results are mainly influenced by the input criteria of assurance, empathy, and tangibility. This study helps the customer to select the most efficient courier service that can save their time, money, and energy. Finally, this study also can guide courier services to decide on which criteria are effective to be improved to enhance their business performance.

Service quality plays crucial role in the operational activities of a company since service quality heavily affects the satisfaction and the loyalty of a customer. The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of service quality of a logistics company on customer’s satisfaction and loyalty. The service quality was measured using the following five dimensions of information quality, ordering procedures, timeliness, order condition and order discrepancy handling. Courier services or logistics services have been standardized in such a way to generate satisfaction to the customers and thus, achieving customer loyalty. The data processing in the logistics company was performedusingAMOS-StructuralEquationModeling(SEM).Thesamplingtechniquein thestudywasbasedonconveniencesamplingof150respondentsfromcourierservice companies (non-probability sampling). The data were collected using questionnaires distributed to the suitable population. The result of the study confirmed the effects of the service quality of courier service companies on customer satisfaction and loyalty. In addition, the study confirmed the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty.
