An important indicator of giftedness is creativity. The authors have developed a comprehensive diagnostic system for the early detection of children with signs of giftedness. The following indicators of creativity were studied: fluency, flexibility, originality, degree of development. The model of psychological and pedagogical conditions for the successful education of gifted children was also substantiated. According to this model the actualization of giftedness is possible only with close interaction between the school and the family, as well as the activity of the most gifted child in this direction.

The research on families of the gifted is extremely limited. In the past, families of the gifted have been studied mainly for two reasons: to discover how family life creates or supports giftedness or eminence, or to understand how one gifted child affects siblings. Few studies, however, have examined the impact of gifted children on the lives of parents. Most studies highlight that many gifted have unique needs and vulnerabilities. Although there is limited empirical research on the experience of parenting a gifted child, there is clinical and anecdotal evidence that the role presents unique parenting challenges. This article presents preliminary research data on the experiences of parenting a gifted child within the family. The authors embrace a risk and resilience model, supported by clinical data obtained from families with a gifted child seen at a leading center for gifted children in Milan.

India is currently focusing on providing education for all, and special population like the gifted is being neglected. This is evident in the case of Aditya (IQ 145), a 7-year-old boy, and his parents who after discovering that their child is gifted attempt to meet his unique educational needs. Despite evidence of Aditya qualifying in examination two grades above his age level, the school authorities neither offer acceleration nor provide appropriate resources. This study attempts to delineate the importance of combined efforts of parent, school, and the community in nurturing gifted children. Finally, the researcher makes a few recommendations for parents: (i) create support groups to share parenting experiences; (ii) explore online and local learning resources to educate themselves about giftedness and nurture their children; and (iii) identify mentors in the community or other parents who can support in meeting the educational needs of these children.

AbstractInformal volunteering is seen as an important indicator of social relations and community life. We therefore investigate the impact of various socialization practices on informal volunteering, being small helping behaviours outside of organizations for people outside the household. From theoretical notions on socialization, we hypothesize that experiencing extensive prosocial socialization practices promotes informal volunteering. We examine socialization processes of both modelling and encouragement and consider two socializing agents: parents and partners. We test our expectations employing the sixth wave of the Family Survey Dutch Population (N = 2464) that included unique measures on socialization as well as informal volunteering and holds important control variables. Our results indicated that parental modelling, partner modelling and partner encouragement were all positively related to informal volunteering, but that parental encouragement was not significantly related to informal volunteering. Our paper, thus, underscores that socialization practices are relevant in nurturing social relations and community life.

Although computers can be a terrific resource for all children, gifted children particularly benefit from the individualization provided by-different computer applications. For the gifted child who finishes written class exercises quickly, computer programs may extend subject matter. From my observations, however, teachers use computers primarily for drill and practice exercises and word processing.

Abstract: PARENTING OF GIFT CHILD BY USING RASULULLAH SAW
METHOD. This Study’s aim is to know how Rosulullah’s methods is use for
Gifted Child. Gifted Child are children with Intelligence above others. They
are independent Children, doing something by themselves, don’t like being
ordered, and creating ideas. They are Children with Intelligence above 130
(Weschler’s scale). They have high and deep thinking and different attitude
if we compare them with the normal intelligence children. The method to
teach them have to adapted with their need. From 40’s method that found
by Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah, we just use 10’s method to be used for
Gifted Children: Modelling and Good Attitude method, Graduation
Teaching method, Situation and Condition’s method, Selection and
Competency method, Interaction (Ask and Answer) method, Question
method (rational thinking) Intelligence method, Analog method, Similarity
method, Drawing method. This study use Library Research Method. From
this study, we know that Rosulullah’s methods are appropriate to teach
Gifted Children with seeing each Gifted Child condition.

memiliki Intelegensi normal. Pola pendidikan dan pengasuhan pun harus
disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Dari 40 Metode Rosulullah yang
ditemukan Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah, peneliti hanya memakai 10 metode
Didik, Metode Interaktif-Dialogis (Tanya Jawab), Metode Pertanyaan
Cerdas Istimewa.

One of the directions of social policy is to improve the situation of children and families with children. The main objectives of family policy are related to improving the well-being of the family. In this regard, it becomes obvious that there is a need to develop a system of measures for early identification of families in crisis.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder that occurs due to corrosion of the substantia nigra, located in the thalamic region of the human brain, and is responsible for transmission of neural signals throughout the human body by means of a brain chemical, termed as “dopamine.” Diagnosis of PD is difficult, as it is often affected by the characteristics of the medical data of the patients, which include presence of various indicators, imbalance cases of patients' data records, similar cases of healthy/affected persons, etc. Through this chapter, an intelligent diagnostic system is proposed by integrating one-class SVM, extreme learning machine, and data preprocessing technique. The proposed diagnostic model is validated with six existing techniques and four learning models. The experimental results prove the combination of proposed method with ELM learning model to be highly effective in case of early detection of Parkinson's disease, even in presence of underlying data issues.
