Favourable parameters are offered to the formation of noble rot caused by Botrytis cinerea by the climatic conditions, soil circumstances and grape-varietes of Tokaj-region. As the result of noble rot, aszú-berries represent the most important raw material of the world-wide known Tokaji Aszú Wine. The objective of this study was to measure the penicillin-content of aszú-berries and Tokaj Wine Specialities. As the result of infection of Botrytis free way can be opened in front of other mould strains, especially Penicillium and Aspergillus. There is a possibility to the presence of Penicillium chrysogenum on the surface of aszú-berries during noble rotting process. P. chrysogenum was found to produce the so called Naturally Derived Penicillins such as Penicillin-V (phenoximethyl-penicillin). According to our findings the Penicillin-V content was detected between 0.4 and 26 mg/1 wine and 0-74 mg/kg aszú-berry. These values do net have therapeutic effect, but physiological benefit and it can be a basis to the qualification of the raw material of Tokaj Wine Specialities naturally together with the other component of noble rotted berries and botrytized wines.

All over the world, a large proportion of the population consume insects as part of their diet. In Western countries, however, the consumption of insects is perceived as a negative phenomenon. The consumption of insects worldwide can be considered in two ways: on the one hand, as a source of protein in countries affected by hunger, while, on the other, as an alternative protein in highly-developed regions, in response to the need for implementing policies of sustainable development. This review focused on both the regulations concerning the production and marketing of insects in Europe and the characteristics of edible insects that are most likely to establish a presence on the European market. The paper indicates numerous advantages of the consumption of insects, not only as a valuable source of protein but also as a raw material rich in valuable fatty acids, vitamins, and mineral salts. Attention was paid to the functional properties of proteins derived from insects, and to the possibility for using them in the production of functional food. The study also addresses the hazards which undoubtedly contribute to the mistrust and lowered acceptance of European consumers and points to the potential gaps in the knowledge concerning the breeding conditions, raw material processing and health safety. This set of analyzed data allows us to look optimistically at the possibilities for the development of edible insect-based foods, particularly in Europe.

The influences of task type on search of the World Wide Web using search engines without limitation of search domain were investigated. 9 graduate and undergraduate students studying psychology (1 woman and 8 men, M age = 25.0 yr., SD = 2.1) participated. Their performance to manipulate the search engines on a closed task with only one answer were compared with their performance on an open task with several possible answers. Analysis showed that the number of actions was larger for the closed task ( M = 91) than for the open task ( M = 46.1). Behaviors such as selection of keywords (averages were 7.9% of all actions for the closed task and 16.7% for the open task) and pressing of the browser's back button (averages were 40.3% of all actions for the closed task and 29.6% for the open task) were also different. On the other hand, behaviors such as selection of hyperlinks, pressing of the home button, and number of browsed pages were similar for both tasks. Search behaviors were influenced by task type when the students searched for information without limitation placed on the information sources.

The present study is complied with the topical theme “name in the text” and devoted to the problems of how precedent names as the text-forming elements function in the poems and prose works of Marina Tsvetaeva within the framework of free indirect discourse. The authors study various methods and functions of personal names. The authors make conclusions concerning the frequency of precedent names and the specific character of intertextual elements in Tsvetaeva’s text, which, on the one hand, complicates the perception of the text, but on the other hand, promotes including both the poet and the reader into the world-wide cultural and spiritual environment. The ways of introducing the name and the persona, especially within free indirect discourse, specifies the further existence of the name / or its absence in the text.

Developing application systems that use the World Wide Web (WWW, Web) as an application platform suffers from the absence of disciplined approaches to develop such Web-applications. Besides, the Web’s implementation model makes it difficult to apply well-known process models to the development and evolution of Web-applications. On the other hand, component-based software development appears as a promising approach that meets essential requirements of developing and evolving highly dynamic Web-applications. With respect to Web-applications, its main objective is to build Web-applications from (standardized) components. Founded on these insights and based on a dedicated component model, we propose an approach to a disciplined specification of components.

Web designers attempt to draw attention to important links by making them distinctive. However, when users are asked to find specific items, they often overlook these distinctive banners. The irony of “banner blindness” is that the user who really wants to find the information the designer has highlighted is not likely to do so. In the experiments reported here, banner blindness is reproduced under controlled conditions. Banners located higher on the page and therefore further from the other page links were missed more often than banners located lower on the page and closer to the other links. Banners were missed more often when located on pages containing links to categories than when located on pages with links to specific items. Users saw banners hardly at all when clicking a banner was not required to accomplish a task.

The advancement of web services paved the way to the accumulation of a tremendous amount of information into the world wide web. The huge pile of information makes it hard for the user to get the required information at the right time. Therefore, to get the right item, recommender systems are emphasized. Recommender algorithms generally act on the user information to render recommendations. In this scenario, when a new user enters the system, it fails in rendering recommendation due to unavailability of user information, resulting in a new user problem. So, in this paper, a movie recommender algorithm is constructed to address the prevailing new user cold start problem by utilizing only movie genres. Unlike other techniques, in the proposed work, familiarity of each movie genre is considered to compute the genre significance value. Based on genre significance value, genre similarity is correlated to render recommendations to a new user. The evaluation of the proposed recommender algorithm on real-world datasets shows that the algorithm performs better than the other similar approaches.

About half the length of the * oceanic ’ rise-ridge system is centred in ocean basins. On the other hand, almost the whole system is approximately disposed in circles around continental shields. Exceptional heating of the system is indicated by high heat flow and the extrusion of extraordinary volumes of flood basalts. The concentration of volcanoes, however, is little greater than normal for ocean basins. Longitudinal normal faulting and transverse wrench faulting are characteristic of the system. Both types formed early in the life of the system and are still active. Wrench faults offset belts of normal faulting and the crests of rises and ridges in many places but are not themselves known to be offset by normal faults. The ancient Darwin Rise has subsided in the southwestern Pacific. Its history differs in some respects from other rises although it too was heated and faulted. A hypothesis of origin of the system is briefly discussed.

The article analyses the little-studied part of the prose legacy of Ulas Samchuk — a book of memoirs ‘Five past twelve: notes at a run’. Ontological approach to the text allowes to outline the world-wide changes of the writer in the conditions of war and dehumanization of society. With the help of the imagology method, the peculiarities of Ulas Samchuk’s attempt to understand the Other (German) who became a victim of Nazi ideology, tolerance of racial superiority, but ultimately defeated. The writer relies on Western European philosophy, in particular, the ideas of O. Spengler, K. Jaspers, J. Ortega y Gasset, which refers to the decline of western culture in connection with the development of civilization, which seeks for hegemony over mankind. An important role is devoted to reflections on the role and place of the Ukrainian nation in the transcendental epic of redistribution of the world.

The first localities of <em>Juncus bulbosus</em> (<em>Juncaceae</em>) for South America (Chile) and for the whole south-western part of the world (S latitude and E longitude) are described, including precise geographical location and climatic conditions. General remarks on the invasiveness of the species and on the possibility of finding it in other parts of the world are given. The distribution of the species world-wide requires further studies, since the bulbous rush has become an invasive plant in areas where it did not occur before.

The article deals with such an interesting and rather complex, multidimensional phenomenon as lacuna on the material of three unrelated languages- Russian, Azerbaijani and English. The lexical lacunae are systematized and analyzed on the following groups: motivated and non-motivated lacunae. Motivated lacuna is connected with the following fact: the native speakers of the other languages do not have this reality idea. Such lacuna can be revealed in the field of the unequal lexeme. However, non-motivated lacuna is not explained by the absence of the idea. The idea exists, but the native speakers of the other languages did not call it owing to the certain cultural, mental, geographical, social, psychological or other reasons. Perhaps, they did not attach importance to them. So, non-motivated lacunae are considered on the concrete lexical-semantic groups in the article :1. Family relationship terms which are divided into two groups: a) blood relations; b) marital relationship. It should be noted that there are no special terms of marital relationship in English unlike Russian and Azerbaijani. The terms of blood relations are used together with the word “law” in postposition in order to denote the necessary marital relationship in English. 2. Nature: natural phenomena, flora and fauna. This group includes a lot of various lacunae connected with nature, natural phenomena. Such lacunae are caused by such objective factors as features of landscape, climatic conditions, relief, predominance of concrete animal, bird, insect, fish species etc. Certainly, the main factor is concrete people’s perception of nature, natural phenomena. Perception of the world influences nomination, highlighting specific natural objects taking into account the degree of their importance. When studying lacunae it is important to take into consideration both extra- and intralinguistic factors.
