AbstractThe paper estimated the effect of the distribution of edge and shear stresses occurring in the façade texture layer of three-layer walls of large slab panel buildings, as well as the variability of these stresses depending on the anchorage strength of the anchorage. Bonded anchors with seven different diameters M8 ÷ M30, selected based on catalogues, were analysed. The traction stress was determined based on the destructive force, which is determined by the catalogues of manufacturers of bonded anchors. Depending on the choice of the method of repairing the connections between the textured layer and the structural layer, we give the three-layer walls a new character of work. One of the methods of strengthening the textured layer is the popular COPY-ECO system in Poland. It is a system of two anchors (horizontal and diagonal), reflecting the shape of the work of existing hangers. The article also analyses the variants of oblique anchorages for the M12 anchor with inclination angles of 30∘, 45∘ and 60∘. The extent to which the anchorage inclination angle has been assessed influences the higher parameters of the anchor’s bearing capacity due to the shearing of the textured layer.

Restoration of decayed teeth with tooth-colored materials that can be bonded to tooth tissue has been a highly desirable property in restorative dentistry for many years. Advantages of such an adhesive restorative technique over conventional techniques using non-adhesive metal-based restoratives include improved restoration retention with minimal sacrifice of sound tooth tissue for retention purposes, superior adaptation and sealing of the restoration margins in prevention of caries recurrence, improved stress distribution across the tooth-restoration interface throughout the whole tooth, and even reinforcement of weakened tooth structures. The dental adhesive technology is rapidly changing. An efficient resin bond to enamel has already long been achieved. Its bonding mechanism has been fully elucidated and has proven to be a durable and reliable clinical treatment. However, bonding to dentin represents a greater challenge. After the failures of a dentin acid-etch technique in imitation of the enamel phosphoric-acid-etch technique and a bonding procedure based on chemical adhesion, modern dentin adhesives are currently believed to bond to dentin by a micromechanical hybridization process. This process is developed by an initial demineralization of the dentin surface layer with acid etchants exposing a collagen fibril arrangement with interfibrillar microporosities that subsequently become impregnated by low-viscosity monomers. Although the development of such a hybridization process has well been documented in the literature, questions remain with respect to parameters of-primary importance to adhesive efficacy.

The purpose of this research is to reach good correlation between sun load simulation and solar focusing test for exterior automotive lighting products. Light coming from sun is highly collimated (parallel rays) and focusable from lenses with concave structure. Focusing incidence leads to a hot spot on lens surrounding plastic parts which may cause melting failures at high temperature zones. Sun load simulation is performing to eliminate risk of discoloration, deformation, out gassing, coating failures and fire with prolonged exposure from field. Irradiance values in W/m2 defined in simulation as heat source depending of an angle of incidence of the sun radiation. At first step, simulation is performing with 5 degree intervals to define the critical zones then intervals decreased to 2 degree to detect the critical azimuth and inclination angles. Critical azimuth and inclination angles is checking with ray trace analysis to check the bouncing of sun rays and possible solution to eliminate focuses with design solutions. After numerical analysis to release and validate the automotive lighting products regarding the sun load test, measurement with first parts is necessary. Measurement is performing for all critical angles which have been detected at simulation with thermal camera under ultra high-collimation solar simulator. Measured temperatures are settled according to environment conditions and correlation is checking with simulations.
