Mandailing culture is part of Indonesia's diversity located in North Sumatra province. Local wisdom of Mandailing community can be used as a learning resource for students of Islamic primary school,so attitude of spiritual, social, knowledge and skills are formed. The local wisdom of the Mandailing community contains the learning resources that must be known and understood by Islamic primary school students such as (1) Ulos Mandailing, (2) Bagas Godang, (3) Amak Lampiasa, (4) Eating Kipang, (5) Marsialapari, (6) Harangan Rarangan, (7) Lubuk Larangan, (8) Marmalim Malim, (9) Gordang Sambilan, (10) Marpokat, (11) Naposo Nauli Bulung. Eleven parts of culture have meaning and values that become the basis of education to students as early as possible. The quality of learning in schools is determined by how the teacher do the learning process in class so that the learning goal can be achieved effectively and efficiently. The use of learning resources becomes one of the things that must be paid attention in the learning process. Integrating Mandailing local wisdom as a learning resource can facilitate the level of students’ understanding and can maintain ancestors’ relics that begin to fade with the changing times.

Educational progress is determined by how teacher’s way to arrange the learning process that occurs in schools. The quality of learning depends on how the teacher runs the learning, so the goal of education is achieved, the learning process becomes innovative and fun and learners do not feel bored during the learning process takes place. The formation of students’ character becomes the main goal in education, therefore comic is a tool that can help teachers in instilling the values of characters contained in the comic.

In the spring of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic having started, and quarantine being introduced in the country, a transition was made to distance teaching/learning. Using online distance learning, a possibility naturally emerged for the primary school students to develop independence. And this is a very important competence part of learning how to learn. One of the most important independence criteria is - thoroughly completed work. Research focus – 3-rd form students’ knowledge and skills working independently. Aim – after analysing task activity worksheets, to assess students’ knowledge and skills, and to discuss students’ ability to work independently. It was suggested for the students that they watch a film in You Tube about a common sparrow and a field sparrow. An activity worksheet was prepared, which was sent to the students by e-mail. For the preparation of the task, a day was allotted. Nineteen 3-rd form students took part in the research. It was ascertained that some of the students lacked attentiveness searching for the similarities and differences of the analysed animals, patience carrying out the other tasks. Watching a film about a common sparrow and a field sparrow, the students acquired new knowledge about their biological peculiarities, living environment, behaviour. Answering the questions, the students already used new concepts. At the same time, they developed work with information recourses, research skills, improved comparing and confronting abilities. Nevertheless, almost half of the students lacked thoroughness, showing their independence. It was still difficult for the students to formulate full answers, therefore they could not fully demonstrate their knowledge and understanding. Girls, carrying out the tasks, were more observant and attentive than boys. Performing the tasks, students demonstrated reproductive and productive independence. Of course, you should not limit yourself in this, and in future you should more orient yourself to the development of creative independence. Keywords: activity worksheet, distance teaching, independent work, primary school students.

ABSTRACTIn this work we report results of the research that references the title. The project was developed with fifth grade students; starting from the importance of mathematics in the training of primary school students, the great interest they have in ICT, the difficulties detected during the exercise of educational work. Important information was collected through a survey that was applied to the other teachers in charge of the orientation of the area of mathematics, which was reflected in the creation and application of a tool that allowed the student to assimilate assertively and motivating the learning of concepts Basic geometry in topics such as plane figures, angles, perimeters, area and volume.RESUMENEn este trabajo se reportan resultados de la investigación que referencia el título.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to propose a computational model that implicitly predict the children’s creative quality of solutions by analyzing the query pattern on a problem-solving-based lesson. Design/methodology/approach A search task related to the competencies acquired in the classroom was applied to automatically measure children’ creativity. A blind review process of the creative quality was developed of 255 primary school students’ solutions. Findings While there are many creativity training programs that have proven effective, many of these programs require measuring creativity previously which involves time-consuming tasks conducted by experienced reviewers, i.e. far from primary school classroom dynamics. The authors have developed a model that predicts the creative quality of the given solution using the search queries pattern as input. This model has been used to predict the creative quality of 255 primary school students’ solutions with 80 percent sensitivity. Research limitations/implications Although the research was conducted with just one search task, participants come from two different countries. Therefore, the authors hope that this model provides detection of non-creative solutions to enable prompt intervention and improve the creative quality of solutions. Originality/value This is the first implicit classification model of query pattern in order to predict the children’ creative quality of solutions. This model is based on a conceptual relation between the concept association of creative thinking and query chain model of information search.
