In the management of parking during this run visible indicators that can be used as abenchmark as the low contribution of parking service on revenue of Makassar and still lessprofessional and optimal management of parking. This study aims to determine the level ofoptimization of the application of the parking management system by operators of parkingbased on public perception and analyze the level of service and high availability of parkingfacilities in the city of Makassar. This research was conducted by direct interview to thecommunity and the spread of random questionnaires to determine public perceptions ofparking management that are run during this and subsequent analysis of the level of serviceand availability of parking infrastructure by taking samples of the two locations in the cityof Makassar. From the results of research in getting that parking geometric arrangementresulted in the design markings on the road Bougainville Makassar park consists of 26markers and 20 markers of motor cars, while road markings Pengayoman consists of 146cars and 54 motorcycles markers. Overall capacity of the car park on the streetBougainville 104 vehicles/h, the capacity of the car park on the street Pengayoman thewest as much as 584 vehicles/hour. Capacity motorcycle parking on the street Bougainvilleas many as 80 vehicles/hour, capacity bike parking on the street Pengayoman the west asmuch as 216 vehicles / hour. For availability of parking facilities in addition to markingproblems of parking, availability of infrastructure such as parking signs, SRP and parkingattendants in Bougainville and western aegis not ideal should be added and equipped.Potential revenue (PAD), which can be generated at the study site from the calculation ofthe accumulation of cars and motorcycles parked vehicles every 15 minutes in the span of13 hours every day for a week total daily average of Rp. 1,657,346. The respondent'sperception of the overall entry in the medium category. For the highest score obtained ata frequency of parking of vehicles in the parking lot was not authorized by a score of 1054.While the lowest score in the delivery of tickets, with a score of 716. Overall it can beconcluded that the availability of parking infrastructures is lacking and parkingmanagement systems are still considered less than optimal.

Abstrak: Pasar sangatlah identik dengan pusat keramaian, karena pasar merupakan pusat perdagangan yang terletak di pusat kota yang sering disebut juga dengan kawasan Central Bussiness District (CBD). Karena pasar merupakan pusat keramaian sehingga mengundang banyak masyarakat untuk datang ke kawasan tersebut sehingga menimbulkan kemacetan arus lalu lintas, akibat tidak terkendalinya arus lalu lintas di sekitar pasar. Kemacetan arus lalu lintas salah satunya akibat dari tidak terkendalinya parkir sehingga membuat kondisi parkir di sekitar daerah tersebut menjadi semakin semrawut. Pasar Aceh merupakan salah satu pusat perdagangan terbesar dan yang paling berkembang di kota Banda Aceh. Semakin berkembangnya kawasan Pasar Aceh membuat aktivitas pergerakan masyarakat semakin meningkat, sehingga membuat menurunnya tingkat pelayanan jalan di kawasan tersebut,  yang diakibatkan oleh kendaraan yang berjalan lambat, parkir, pejalan kaki dan pedagang kaki lima. Pasar Aceh memiliki fasilitas ruang parkirnya. Setelah disediakan ruang parkir pada gedung Pasar Aceh (off-street parking) yang baru ini ternyata masih banyak masyarakat yang lebih memilih parkir dibadan jalan (on-street parking), sementara pelataran parkir pada gedung Pasar Aceh belum habis terisi penuh, sehingga masih terjadi kemacetan dan kesemrawutan lalu lintas yang diakibatkan oleh banyaknya pengguna jalan yang menggunakan badan jalan sebagai tempat parkir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) mengevaluasi kinerja jalan yang terbebani oleh kendaraan yang melintasi jalan di kawasan Pasar Aceh, (2) mengevaluasi kebutuhan ruang parkir yang optimal untuk melayani para pengunjung Pasar Aceh dan (3) mengidentifikasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang timbul akibat on-street parking berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat. Because the market is a center of crowds that invites many people to come to the area, causing traffic congestion, due to uncontrolled traffic flow around the market. One of the traffic jams is due to uncontrolled parking, making parking conditions around the area increasingly chaotic. Aceh Market is one of the largest and most developed trade centers in the city of Banda Aceh. The increasing development of the Aceh Market area has made community movement activities increasingly increasing, which has caused a decline in the level of road services in the area, which is caused by vehicles that run slowly, parked, pedestrians and street vendors. Aceh Market has its parking facilities. Having provided parking space on the new Pasar Aceh (off-street parking) building it turns out that there are still many people who prefer on-street parking, while the parking lot on the Aceh Market building has not been fully filled, so traffic jams still occur and the chaos of traffic caused by many road users who use the road as a parking lot. The objectives of this study are: (1) evaluating road performance burdened by vehicles crossing the road in the Aceh Market area, (2) evaluating optimal parking space requirements to serve Aceh Market visitors and (3) identifying problems arising from -street parking based on people's perception. ABSTRACT  Related to the implementation of the Regional Regulation (Perda) about the increase in parking rates at the edge of the road prone to congestion in the city of Bogor ratified and entered into force on July 2, 2012, The first location that imposed this tariff is the Way Suryakencana and Jalan Siliwangi Bogor and the second location is the application of The Government through the Department trials Traffic Transportation (DLLAJ) Bogor City gets a reaction from the people around Jalan Suryakencana. Enactment of the increase in parking rates at Jalan Bogor Suryakencana expected to reduce illegal parking of vehicles in the area, which has been causing congestion. With parking rates that have been enacted many road users who park their vehicles in multiple and indiscriminate. The method used in this study is empirical juridical approach. The study, based on an inventory of positive law, the discovery of the principles of law and legal discovery inconcretto, which include observation of empirical operationalization of law in society. The conclusion from this study is the basis of the application of the levy Parking Services Bank Public Road, especially in the city of Bogor is Law No. 28 of 2009 on Regional Taxes and Levies and Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2012. Implementation of Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2012 on Increase Rates Parking is not yet fully effective this is due to high payments also has not been matched with adequate services, the responsibility for the damage and loss still be a burden for the owner of the vehicle so that the functions and responsibilities of the government that deal with parking problems is questionable. Impact parking tariff policy to demand that any increase in the parking rate of 10 percent would result in a decrease in the use of parking of 0.7 -0.8 percent, increase use of public transport and cycling amounted to 3.71 percent of 0.9 percent. Traffic jam caused by a lots of vehicles which parked on the road has always been a problem on urban roads. The lack of parking facilities out of the road and a lot of generation due to public facilities such as bank, restaurants, pharmacies, shops, and health center, will have an impact on traffic jam on the Imam Bonjol road section. This research aim for determine the magnitude effect of parking on street to the road performance of the Imam Bonjol street. The data needed includes, highway geometric, collecting data obtained from the results of the surveys is data on traffic volume, side barriers, parking on the road data and speed data. The parking survey methods using plat number methods and the data was analysed using the MKJI 1997 calculation method. The results of this research indicate that parking on the road is affected the performance of the imam bonjol street. the amount of traffic volume on saturday at 20.00 - 21.00 WITA is 3034 vehicles/hour. Side barriers values obtained is 560.7 friction/hour with high conditions typical is commercial areas, high activities on the road side, so the value of capacity dropped from 4576 smp/hour before parking, to 2533 smp/hour after parking on the road. The value average speed of light vehicle on Saturdays for the west to east is 24,42 km/hour, while the east to west is 23,94 km/hour. In 2018 the DS value is 0.65 with the level of service C. Whereas in 2023 the performance increased to DS = 1,23 with the level of service F.

The Damar road section is a connecting lane for the Pasar Raya Padang area which starting to face parking problem. The indicator is the disruption of the flow and the high accumulation of parking volume on Jalan Belakang Olo section. These affected to the decrease on the level of the road services (LOS) on Jalan Damar Padang. So, the analysis of LOS, parking characteristics and parking management on Jalan Damar were carried out. The results of the parking characteristics analysis during the three days of observation showed that the average parking duration was 34-35 minutes, the maximum Parking Turn Over was 3.6 vehicles /day/space, and a maximum Parking Index was 84.91 %. The level of service level value indicated that the degree of saturation was 0.51 (DS <0.80) and it categorized to the B level; the flow classified stable with the average travel speeds ≥ 40 km / hr. The results of the traffic volume analysis trends and the volume of parked vehicles are contradictory. This could answer the question why that on parking activities the Jalan Damar did not caused a significant problem. Management of the on street parking through a Parking Meter Machine at this location is recommended. In the initial stage, the results of the parking characteristics analysis and the lay-out of parking lot can be offered. However, the further study will be needed to determined such as the vehicles growth rate and parking tariff to avoid the impact on the Level of Service.

Abstract: Due to rapid proliferation in the number of vehicles on the road, finding a vacant car parking space is becoming challenging and ubiquitous in every major city, resulting traffic problems are bound to exist. Increase in traffic causes the number of accidents thatcause serious bodily harm to the road users, the pollution caused by the large amount of CO2 released by the vehicles, and the continuous stress of drivers who must drive in often narrow and very busy roads and who must look for a long time to find a space to park. Thus, tosolve the parking problem, lot of research is being done on smart parking management system mechanisms. The existing system gives us the information about the empty slots availability but does not give information about the exact location of parking slot available in sucha big area. This paper proposes an efficient, cost effective smart car Parking System on wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) technology using LabView that can easily locate and secure a vacant parking space at any car park deemed convenient to them. Daily problems affecting citizens, not only in Pec, but also in other cities in the Republic of Kosovo, are closely linked to urban mobility, which have played a very important role in recent years. The citizens are faced with various problems, a large number of vehicles, low road network communication capacity, lack of adequate signalization and many other problems. The long columns of vehicles they encounter daily, especially in peak hours on the road segments, consistently come to an unhappy one and lead to dissatisfaction of the car drivers. To address these problems, they must use a broad network traffic programming that is based on appropriate strategies, infrastructures and policy solutions to be considered as an effective tool for solving problems in urban traffic. Special attention should be paid to checking the intersection (with or without light signaling), because if these intersections are well designed, they can show improvement in traffic. In fact, crossroads of road networks are those in which there are conflicts between different traffic waves, leading to delays and accidents, reducing service levels and traffic safety in these areas. Traffic leaders and experts in Peja have been working on the development of road infrastructure in the municipality for years, but the number of inhabitants has risen and the number of vehicles that adversely affects the functionality of road communications has increased. Identification and description of the problem, the increase in the number of vehicles in the town of Peja affected the reduction of capacity and service levels, reduced vehicle speed, a large number of accidents and a decrease in the level of safety. After analyzing the current situation, the best solution for solving the problem of vehicle movement in the city of Pec will be proposed. In this regard, it is important to analyze the capacity and level of service on the roads to identify the key factors that affect it, and then intervene to improve them. The purpose of the research, the main purpose of the master's thesis is to study and compile the characteristics and level of service of the intersection at the level of illumination and the circular intersection. In this thesis will be treated: 1. Roofs in the level without a signal of illumination, 2. Levels of transitions with illuminated signaling and 3. Circular passages (circular crossroads).

A combination of factors including an unattractive public transport offering a low level of service, the lack of parking facilities, an inadequate drivers? education and poor policing have led to illegal parking phenomena in many Greek cities, contributing in their aesthetic and cultural degradation, making them inaccessible for both vehicles and pedestrians. In the present study the phenomenon of illegal parking is investigated along selected road axes in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. After the appropriate processing of the data collected, the impact of illegal parking on the reduction of road capacity was calculated. Moreover, it was attempted to relate illegal parking activity with the type of adjacent land uses. Conclusions regarding the degree of parking violations and the road capacity reduction in relation to road and adjacent land uses? characteristics are given and possible measures and policies towards the alleviation of the problem are proposed.

Gelendzhik is the resort town, there aren't a lot of industrial enterprises here. The main pollutant is transport. The work purpose is the assessment of a condition of the artificial landings of a pine located along the Federal highway "Don" and landings, which is nearly the sea coast. Researches were conducted to a standard technique of the General vital state (A. S. Bogolyubov). The assessment of a condition of pines was carried out during 6 years: from 2010 to 2015. For carrying out research we used 6 experimental grounds on the Markotkhsky spine and 2 control grounds within the town. We investigated 24 trees on each platform, middle age of the trees were 30 - 40 years. Results. 1. The condition of trees in the pine forests located in immediate proximity with the Federal highway "Don" (No. 1, 2, 3) is unsatisfactory. As even weak influences of the majority of atmospheric gaseous pollutants (sulphurous gas, nitrogen oxides, etc.) give effect of a necrosis and hloroz of pine needles, the condition of pines is connected with technogenic pollution. So near the Federal highway "Don" the air environment is strongly polluted by exhaust gases. Information of 2012 confirm that negative influence of the route on Markotkh's vegetation decreases at reduction of load of the route. 2. On the sites located above on a slope (No. 4,5,6) thanks to remoteness and the wind mode intensity of influence of pollutants is lower and a condition of pines the quite satisfactory. 3. Trees on the sites located near the sea (No. 7,8) are in a good shape. Small deterioration of a state is noted in very droughty years. Conclusion. Results of six years' research show that the condition of the plantings which are in close proximity with the road worsens. It is explained by increase in intensity of the movement on the road, especially during a resort season. Gelendzhik is the city with a good ecological shape, but the damage to environment is already caused. If not to take measures, we can lose a unique part of the nature in the future, recreate it will be impossible. Measures of reduction of negative impact of exhaust gases were offered. Results of researches are transferred to ecological department of the City administration of Gelendzhik.

Continuous, automatic measurements of road traffic volume allow the obtaining of information on daily, weekly or seasonal fluctuations in road traffic volume. They are the basis for calculating the annual average daily traffic volume, obtaining information about the relevant traffic volume, or calculating indicators for converting traffic volume from short-term measurements to average daily traffic volume. The covid-19 pandemic has contributed to extensive social and economic anomalies worldwide. In addition to the health consequences, the impact on travel behavior on the transport network was also sudden, extensive, and unpredictable. Changes in the transport behavior resulted in different values of traffic volume on the road and street network than before. The article presents road traffic volume analysis in the city before and during the restrictions related to covid-19. Selected traffic characteristics were compared for 2019 and 2020. This analysis made it possible to characterize the daily, weekly and annual variability of traffic volume in 2019 and 2020. Moreover, the article attempts to estimate daily traffic patterns at particular stages of the pandemic. These types of patterns were also constructed for the weeks in 2019 corresponding to these stages of the pandemic. Daily traffic volume distributions in 2020 were compared with the corresponding ones in 2019. The obtained results may be useful in terms of planning operational and strategic activities in the field of traffic management in the city and management in subsequent stages of a pandemic or subsequent pandemics.
