In the conditions of industrial milk production and productivity growth in cows, the increase in the duration of the inter- calving period is noted. This is due to a somewhat prolonged process of involution of the uterus after calving in high-yielding animals and prolongation of the service-period due to lack of detection of animals in estrous cycle. Depending on the technology of maintenance and qualification of service personnel, the number of such animals may increase. The contributing factors include the year-round stall system of keeping cows, the uncontrolled retention of animals in large groups, short intervals of detection of animals in hunting and others. The paper uses the materials of the first-time animal and veterinary record of a number of husbandries specializing in industrial milk production with different systems of keeping animals and the detection of animals in hunting. Methods of hormonal stimulation of sexual intercourse in cows were studied in the state enterprise "Khrystynivske" (n = 243) for the binding system for the maintenance of cows and auto-mated control of motor activity of cows for unbroken maintenance for the detection of animals in hunting – LLC "Nd. a. Lesia Ukrainka" (n = 74). For hormonal stimulation, methods using estrogens and prostaglandins were used: the protocol Ovsinh (n = 164) and the use of progesterone (preparation Delta® Ceva Santa Animale) (n = 79). The obtained results were sorted by the methods of variation statistics in the software product Statistica 12.5. An analysis of the detection of spontaneous hunting in animals by the traditional method - observing them during the walk allowed us to establish that in the first cows, the indicators of regenerative (VP) and service-periods (SP), under the same conditions of abstinence and feeding, differed from full-age cows in the duration of only one sexual cycle (20–21 days), for almost identical index of insemination (IO). Analysis of the results of determining the sexual cycles of cows using the help of DATA SLOW software and Triolact sensors conducted at the LLC nd. a. Lesia Ukrainka of Kovel region of Volyn oblast (n = 74) showed that even short-term hunting, which takes place within 2–3 hours, can detect and carry out insemination of animals. The obtained results coincide with the duration of the service-period during the systematic visual detection of animals in the stage of sexual hunting, but there is a reduction of the three-fold of the recovery period, the duration of which is associated with certain difficulties of visual detection in animals of the first hunting (irreducible manifestation , short duration and others). Also, the results of the analysis confirm the increase in the service-period in cows-primates for approximately the duration of one sexual cycle. In the following cases, there is a decrease in the variability of reproduction rates. The growth of milk productivity negatively correlated with the indicator of the duration of service-period in cows. The force of influence was almost 96% (P < 0.01). In cases of tied animals maintenance in the first place, methods of hormonal stimulation of sexual hunting in cows are obtained. Indicator of efficiency of detection of animals in hunting during the period of maintenance was 28–35%, and during the summer-camp – grew to 47–62%. Analysis of the duration of the service period and the index of insemination with the synchronization of cows according to the protocol "Ovsinh" has shown a decrease in the effectiveness of insemination of cows for stimulated hunting. Fertility of animals after the first insemination was 20.1%, and after the second procedure the introduction of hormonal drugs increased by 8–12% and was 38%. In the application of progesterone in the form of vaginal applicators "Pride Delta" results were better – the fertility rate from the first insemination was 37%, and from two – 56%. As with the use of prostaglandin, and in the application of the protocol "Ovsinh" there is a tendency to increase the effectiveness of insemination, depending on the duration of the recovery period, that is, the time from calving to the use of the drug.

Scientific and production experiments were carried out on cows of Ukrainian Black-and-White diary breed (UBAWD) of SE "Seagull" (branch "Lisne") during 2016–2017. The anatomical and physiological state of genital organs of cows was determined by the method of clinical and gynecological research of animals before conducting experiments and during them every 40–50 days. In total 486 cows were kept under control, which were kept in typical rooms with running platforms, but the active motivation of animals was clearly insufficient. Feeding cows according to the recommended standards. The milk yield from the cow in 2017 was 7813 kg. The experiments studied the effect of feeding cows during the dry period, the conditions of retention and some other paratypic factors on the course of the genera and the postnatal period, the duration of the service period and the fertility of cows. In analyzing the research results, personal records and veterinary documentation were used. In conducting experiments, it was found that normal calving was in 89% of cows, and severe and pathological – in 11% of cases. The main diseases in the afterlife period were: detention of the litter – 9.5%, postpartum endometritis – 21.5%, hypofunction of the ovaries – 23.0%, persistent yellow ovarian bodies – 25.6% and others. Normal intervals between stages of excitation of the sexual cycle (18–22 days) were in 63% of cows, and violations of the rhythm of sexual cycle, associated with dysfunction of the ovaries and missed the hunt – 30% of animals. Subunvulation of the genital organs of the cows contributed to the diseases of the limbs, udder and digestive disorders. During 2016–2017, the effect of feeding cows (173 g.) in the dry period on the course of calving, post-autumn period and their fertility was studied. Under the same conditions, keeping cows in the maternity ward and feeding rough and succulent feeds concentrated feeds fed cows of the control group (98 heads) to 1–2 kg daily during the dry period, and experimental (75 heads) – for 18–20 days to calving 2–3 kg. A positive difference was found in favor of cows of the experimental group: there was a more active stage of expulsion of the fetus, less delay of the placenta (by 7%) and endometritis (by 12%), the duration of the postoperative regenerative period decreased by 8.6 days; service period – 19.0 days; fertility from two inseminans was higher by 5.7%. Study of the reproductive capacity of cows at the hotel in different seasons showed that the recovery period was shorter by 11 days in the presence of cows in 3–4 quarters, and the service period – by 23.2 days at hotel in I and IV sq. The average duration of the recovery period was 79.5 days, while the service period was 123.4 days. The longest duration of the joint ventricle was in cows at hotel during the hot summer days of the year. The average fertilization rate from the first insemination of 339 cows was 44.9% with fluctuations in individual groups of milkers from 26.8% to 55.0%. The following indicators were in the number 1 and number 3 (respectively 26.8% and 31.4%). The best fertility rates were in groups № 4, 6 and 7, where there were more cows of the second and third lactation, and the responsible attitude of the milkers to work in organizing cows walks and sexually explicit hunting. When comparing the assessment of the duration of the IP and SP in full-age cows and cows, the first-born, taking into account 225 goals. It was found that these indicators were longer in primitive cows – 20.7 days respectively and 21.9 days in relation to full-age cows. The obtained results are completely consistent with the results obtained by a number of both domestic and foreign researchers. More attention is needed to grow heifers and to prepare newborns for delivery. In 15–17% of cows at and after the hotel, gynecological diseases that occurred in the presence of gastrointestinal diseases, lameness, mastitis and others were diagnosed. This has negatively affected the overall performance of the herd. In studying the duration of HP and SP in healthy and sick cows after calving, it was found that if the SP in healthy cows lasts 73.4 days, then in patients – 116.3 days (the difference was 42.9 days), and the difference in the duration of the joint venture reached 98.7 days. On the basis of the results of the research, it can be concluded that the reproductive function of the cows is influenced by such paratypic factors as feeding animals in the dry period, the temperature factor (time of year), the human factor (the effect of milking on a group of cows), age and physiological state of cows in the hotel and in the afterlife period. When feeding 2–3 kg of bovine feed for cows, together with rough and juicy fodder for 18–20 days prior to calving, the recovery period decreased by 8.6 days and service period – by 19 days, and fertility from two inseminals increased by 5.7%, reaching 85.3%. The smallest duration of the service-period was in the presence of cows in the I and IV quarters year (107.7–117.1 days). In primary cows, the recovery period was longer than that of full-age cows by 20.7 days, and the service period was 21.9 days. In the physiologically healthy cows after calving, the recovery period lasted an average of 73.4 days and service period – 98.7 days, and in patients, after the prescribed treatment – respectively 116.3 days and 197.4 days.

The changes of arborization of secretions of mucous membranes during stimulated sexual cycle in cows have been investigated. It is established that the dynamics of arborization from the oral mucous membranes, the vestibule of the vagina for hormonal stimulation of the sexual cycle has a direct effect on the level of estrogens in cows. Starting from the third day of research, the number of animals in which we observed a clear arborization increased to four (40%), which indicates an increase in estrogen levels. Instead, six animals (60%) lacked arborization. On the fourth day in the estrus stage (insemination day), the number of cows in the smears we noticed a clear arborization increased to 7 (70%). This was the highest rate during the studies and suggests that only 7 cows had the highest estrogen levels at their peak. From the fifth to the 10th day of the study, a gradual decrease in the number of animals in smears was marked by clear arborization. This, in its turn, is associated with the formation on the site of an ovulatory follicle of the yellow body that begins to produce a progesterone, indicating the stage of the meteor shower. At the 12th of observation in smears of one animal was marked a clear crystallization while in the other nine it was absent. Beginning from the 13th to the 21st day, arboretization in the smears from the mucous membrane of prickly vagina was absent. Only on 14, 15, 17, and 20th day it was noticed singular or not clear arborization. At the 22–24th day of observation in one cow, signs of the next sexual cycle were recorded. Namely, in smears, we noticed a clear arborization, which confirms the renewal of sexual cycle and lack of fertilization. Mucus mucous membranes of spit vagina and saliva of cows for spontaneous want have a longer-term character and a clear figure in the form of a leaf of fern than in the induced sexual cycle, where the drawing was less intense and short-lived in the stage of the estrus. According to our data, one can sometimes observe single crystallization in the stage of metetrusus and diestrus. This is what we associate with the selection of smears from the oral cavity after feeding the animals with concentrated foods, acidic silage, and in smears from mucus, vinegar vinegar – functional disorders in the sexual system.

ABSTRACT Background: The rate of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia reduced to 50% in 2019, far from the national target of 80% in 2014. One of the contributing factors is the inadequate breastmilk production of mothers, especially in the first and second days after birth. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of stimulation of endorphin, oxytocin, and suggestive (SPEOS) massage method on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at General Hospital, South Tangerang, Banten. Subjects and Method: A randomized control trial was conducted at General Hospital, South Tangerang, Banten, from July to August 2020. A sample of 80 postpartum mothers was randomized into two groups: (1) Experimental group that received SPEOS massage method conducted for 10 minutes, and (2) Control group that received no intervention allocated into two groups. The dependent variable was the production of breastmilk. The independent variable was massage with the SPEOS method. The data were collected by measuring the volume (ml) of breastmilk. The data were analyzed by Mann-Whitney test. Results: After the intervention, mean of breastmilk production in postpartum mothers in the experimental group (Mean= 46.55) was higher than the control group (Mean= 34.45), and it was statistically significant (p= 0.018). Conclusion: Breastmilk production in postpartum mothers increases with the stimulation of endorphin, oxytocin, and suggestion massage method. In cycling females, the periovulatory period is characterized by stimulation of the hypothalamic pituitary adrenal (HPA) axis. The aim of present study was to analyze the pattern and interrelationships among adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), cortisol (CORT), aldosterone (ALD) and electrolytes (sodium—Na+, potassium—K+ and chloride—Cl−) during periovulatory period in cycling mares. Venous blood samples were obtained daily from a total of 23 Purebred Spanish broodmares, aged 7.09 ± 2.5 years, from day −5 to day +5 of estrous cycle, considering day 0, the day of ovulation. Plasma ACTH was measured by a fluorescent immunoassay kit, serum CORT and ALD by means of a competitive ELISA immunoassay, and plasma Na+, K+ and Cl− were quantified by an analyzer with selective electrodes for the three ions. ACTH showed higher concentrations at day 0 compared to days −5 to −1 and +1 to +3 (p < 0.05). CORT showed higher concentrations at day 0 compared to days −5 to −2 and +1 to +5 (p < 0.05). ALD showed higher concentrations at day 0 compared to days −5 to −2 (p < 0.05) and +2 (p < 0.05). Na+ and Cl− showed higher concentrations at day 0, compared to day −5 and +5. K+ showed lower concentrations at day 0 compared to day +1 (p < 0.05). The significant correlations obtained between ACTH and CORT (r = 0.20) and between ACTH and ALD (r = 0.32) suggest that although ACTH may have an effect both on CORT and ALD, there are other very important determinants that could be considered. Hence, it is possible to presume that the pituitary adrenocortical response and ALD may be involved in the ovulatory mechanisms without a direct relation with electrolyte pattern.
