Ambiente Educativo. It is precisely one of these new pedagogical scenarios, that we intend to analyze, describing its impact on the academic self-concept of twenty prisoners/students from the Open University, Portugal, based on the qualitative analysis of their own perceptions and narratives having as reference the Pedagogical Model developed by Moreira (2017). The results show that the design of the environment, anchored in this model and the use of audiovisual technologies can have very positive effects on the academic self-concept of higher education students in the various dimensions taken into consideration: Motivation, Orientation for the task, Trust in their own capacities and Relationship with colleagues. The implications of the results are discussed not only from a practical intervention point of view but also in terms of future research. Keywords: Pedagogy. Educational Environment. Cinema. AbstractWoman’s language is a representation system reflecting woman’s views of the world. Such language can be found in oral and written texts, e.g.: novel. In the novel, female language containing certain ideology is identifiable through the interpretation of its vocabularies and grammar. Woman’s choice of words represents certain ideology and her views of life. In this writing, such ideology in woman’s vocabularies and grammar in the novel is studied using qualitative approach and content analysis method based on Fairclough’s theory developed by Santoso. Generally, woman’slanguage in the novel shows a modern and brave point of view of an Islamic boarding school woman to face every conflict in her life. The novel taught us that only knowledgeable and strongly virtuous woman that can withstand and defend her rights among the dominant and powerful people around her. It is shown in her use of words and choice of grammar.

The purpose of this research is to describe   the differences between the pattern of educational communication in the Village Unit Cooperatives (KUDs) and that in the Traditional Iskamic Boarding School Cooperatives (Kopontrens) in West Java Province, Indonesia.  The research was carried out with   qualitative approach on 12 KUDs and 12 Kopontrrens in West Java Province, Indonesia.   The idea of research was based on the International and Indonesian Cooperative Principles which obliges the cooperatives to arrange cooperative education program for the cooperative’s members and based on the facts of cultural background differences between KUDs and Kopontrens.   The result of the research indicated that  educational communication in the Kopontrens is stronger than that in the KUDs because the process of educational communication process in the Kopontrens has become a standardized educational program, so that the elements of communication process consisting of “who says what to whom in which channel,  in what effect and environtment”  has become a package of the educational communication    curriculum in Kopontrens. This could explain why  the members’ participation in the Kopontrens is better than that in the KUDs. This result of the study could give social and policy implication for developing method of members educatin  in the KUDs in Indonesia.

Summary: My comment is basically restricted to the situation in which less-able students find themselves and refers only to literature in German. From this point of view I am basically able to confirm Marsh's results. It must, however, be said that with less-able pupils the opposite effect can be found: Levels of self-esteem in these pupils are raised, at least temporarily, by separate instruction, academic performance however drops; combined instruction, on the other hand, leads to improved academic performance, while levels of self-esteem drop. Apparently, the positive self-image of less-able pupils who receive separate instruction does not bring about the potential enhancement of academic performance one might expect from high-ability pupils receiving separate instruction. To resolve the dilemma, it is proposed that individual progress in learning be accentuated, and that comparisons with others be dispensed with. This fosters a self-image that can in equal measure be realistic and optimistic.

When she was still in the village  l iving with her parents, she was portrayed as a obedient girl who was loyal to the parents, polite and acted in accordance with the social customs. In short, her personality was dominated by ”Me”  self concept. On the other hand, when she moved to the city (Kyoto), she was portrayed as a wild girl  no longer controlled by the social customs. She was  firm and determined totake decisions of  her won  for her future without considering what other people would say about her. She did not want to be treated as object. Farm schools offer a learning environment for the education of students in Agricultural Technical Programs and offer this program adopting boarding systems (“farm-boarding schools” or “FBS”). The big challenge in FBS is balancing education and production, that is, provide resources for practical classes and at the same time provide food for farm residents from a pre-defined budget by the sponsoring institution. The aim of this paper is to present a linear programming model to plan and optimize FBS production and supply. The model was applied in two FBS in Brazil. The model developed could show the complexity of the FBS system, which features a variety of productions and the interactions among them. The modeling process presented positive results from a technical and managerial point of view, including people management. The formulated model showed an optimized scenario which extended the managers’ analysis horizon and allowed safer decision making. The system’s complexity hampers dialogue between the farm-boarding school team and managers. From the modeling process and the standardization of data and generated results, there was a greater safety margin to present investment proposals and analyzes, accelerating the decision-making process, which was a positive addition to the system.
