COMMUNITY EMPOWER THROUGH UTILIZATION OF STRAW WASTE AND RICE HUSK BECOME SUPERCARBON IN MOYUDAN, SLEMAN. Karanganjir, Sejati Dukuh and Setran are three hamlets in the village Sumberarum. The livelihoods of the majority of the population worked as farmers. Each season rice harvest paddy lands in Karanganjir, Sejati Dukuh and Setran will produce abundant rice. Results of the rice harvest in the form of straw and rice husks were also plentiful. Rural farming communities Sumberarum have not been able to utilize the waste straw and rice husks are plentiful. This is due to the lack of awareness, knowledge, and skills for the use of waste straw and rice husks. Pollution of the environment requires a solution that is by utilizing the waste straw and rice husks into supercarbon as kerosene and gas for household and economic value. The program will work closely with youth organizations and farmers’ groups in Karanganjir, Sejati Dukuh and Setran, Co-operative of Sumberarum village, Co-operative of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), and Department of Industry Trade and Cooperatives of Sleman. This program is conducted by lecturers and UAD students of Community Service Program (KKN) divided into five major themes: 1) Entrepreneurship; 2) Making supercarbon from agricultural waste; 3) Utilization supercarbon as an alternative fuel; 4) Motivating supercarbon entrepreneurship; 5) The establishment and development of business units supercarbon.

The aim of the Community Service Program, Kuliah Kerja Nyata- Pembelajaran dan Pemberdayaan Kepada Masyarakat (KKN-PPM) is to improve the skills of society in Sindanglaya village, Cinangka. The problem faced does not know the use the waste of plastic to produce the useful and selling value products. The method of implementing this service is through (1) Survey through observation, interviews, and analysis of problems and potential of the village, (2) Training on making paving block from the waste of plastic. The results of this program are increasing knowledge and skills of the community regarding training on making paving block from the waste of plastic. This program is expected to facilitate the community in increasing their knowledge and skills in processing the waste materials into products that are useful and have selling value, therefore that the societies in Sindanglaya become productive communities.

The main problem responded by partners is Karang Taruna as a business effort in Warnasari, one of which has not yet formed a commitment to make partnerships in planning in its area, because of the lack of resources and capital owned.The purpose of this community service program is to educate business actors related to the potential of existing agrotourism with the resources needed to build partnerships through private-public partnerships needed to develop existing tourism potential.The methodology of implementation in community service is divided into 3 (three) The result of community service activities in the village of Warnasari, Pangalengan Sub-district, Bandung Regency, was to build a public private partnership so that forming an MOU also gained the ability to manage tourism in the village of Warnasari, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency.The impact of community service activities is the assistance of youth organizations as an aid to businesses and village apparatus in developing existing potential through private public partnerships developed by the MOU.The benefit of community service activities is the achievement of the welfare of the people of Warnasari Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency, with tourism support in the area.

he village of Blimbingan is one of the villages in Baturan village, Colomadu District, Karanganyar Regency. The Housewives of the village Blimbingan actually have the skill of sewing but the potential they have is not developed. There are 5 handyman in Blimbingan village so that many of the patchwork fabric that should be used, but the citizen of Blimbingan village does not know the benefits of patchwork. Patchwork fabric in Blimbingan village is more often discarded and burned so it pollutes the environment of the surrounding community especially air pollution, and also many still good batik patchwork that should still be utilized to be processed into goods that have a high economic value. The majority of the community of Blimbingan Village are less concerned about environmental issues, they do not know the benefits that will be gained if they are able to utilize patchwork, their view of not the importance of a supposed patchwork cloth should be changed so that they should be adapted by being given socialization and counseling. This community service aims to provide socialization as well as training on making accessories by utilizing patchwork waste in Blimbingan village as well as providing guidance to develop into a productive economic business in order to become a new opportunity for the group of Mothers-Housewives village Blimbingan. The methods used in this activity are by counseling, training, monitoring and mentoring. This community devotion activity is a partner of mother-housewife Group has effectively understood the utilization of waste patchwork for beneficial products such as the manufacture of accessories and many people in need. Abstract Purpose: The Community Service Program (PKM) is located in Kerinjing Village, Tanjung Raja District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The targeted target audiences are housewives in the village. This activity aims to: (1) socialize the potential benefits of family medicinal plants (TOGA) as healthy drinks that can increase income, (2) socialize the correct way of planting family medicinal plants so that the quality is better, arousing the motivation of the target community to develop family medicinal plat processing. Method: The methods applied in this training include counseling on several theories that support the potential and composition of family medicinal plants, how to plant and process medicinal plants into various beverage processed products, suitable packaging methods, practice, and assistance. Community service activities are carried out through lectures and demonstrations. Results: The output produced from this activity include: (1) increased knowledge and skills of housewives regarding the use and processing of family medicinal plants, (2) increased knowledge of how to plant and pack good products, and (3) increased motivation for developing a business to use family medicinal plants. Conclusions: After the activity, there is an increase in knowledge and skills to develop a business to use family medicinal plants, their potential, and how to process them into healthy drink products, as well as proper packaging methods. In addition, this activity also increases the motivation of housewives who are participants to develop businesses in the field of beverage products based on family medicinal plants.

AbstrakSampah organik merupakan salah satu masalah besar yang sulit untuk diselesaikan di Indonesia. Laman berita internasional, anadulu academy menyatakan pada tahun 2019 ini, terdapat 67 juta ton sampah yang dihasilkan di Indonesia, diantara 67 juta ton tersebut, 60 persennya merupakan sampah organik. Padahal, didalam sampah organik ini terdapat beberapa zat seperti protein atau glukosa yang jika dimanfaatkan dengan baik dapat menghasilkan unsur-unsur hara yang dibutuhkan untuk pertumbuhan, perkembangan, dan kesehatan tanaman. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdi berusaha meminimalisir jumlah sampah organik dalam lingkup kecil seperti di Dusun Tagog dengan cara mengolahnya menjadi pupuk organik cair atau diberi nama “Tagog Pupuk Organik Cair (Tapukor)”. Selain dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat di dusun tersebut, pupuk organik cair ini dapat dipasarkan juga dimana pupuk organik cair ini memiliki nilai ekonomis yang cukup tinggi yaitu sekitar 25.000 per 50 mL. Sehingga dengan adanya pembuatan pupuk organik cair ini diharapkan dapat turut berkontribusi secara nyata dalam pencapaian tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs) poin delapan yakni meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang merata dan berkelanjutan, tenaga kerja yang optimal dan produktif, serta pekerjaan yang layak untuk semua.AbstractOrganic waste is one of the big problems that are difficult to solve in Indonesia. The international news page, The Anadulu Academy stated that in 2019, there were 67 million tons of waste produced in Indonesia, of which 67 million tons, 60 percent of which is organic waste. In fact, in this organic waste, there are several substances such as protein or glucose which, if properly utilized can produce nutrients needed for plant growth, development, and health. Therefore, the writer as a participant in the Sisdamas Community Service Program tries to minimize the amount of organic waste in a small scope such as in Tagog Hamlet by processing it into liquid organic fertilizer or named "Tagog Liquid Organic Fertilizer (Tapukor)". Besides being able to be used by the people in the village, this liquid organic fertilizer can be marketed also where the liquid organic fertilizer has a high economic value of around 25,000 for 50 mL. So that the creation of liquid organic fertilizer is expected to contribute significantly in achieving the goal of sustainable development (SDGs) point eight, namely promoting equitable and sustainable economic growth, optimal and productive workforce, and decent work for all

Abstract The sawmill industry in the village of Bodag, Kare Subdistrict, Madiun Regency causes an abundance of sawdust. The waste can be used as a growing media for oyster mushroom cultivation. This waste problem can be overcome, but new issues arise with the production of mushroom growing media (baglog). Baglog waste generated in one harvest more or less (1 - 2) t. Limited knowledge and skills in the use of baglog waste is a problem. The community service program aims to improve the skills of mushroom farmers to yield products made from baglog waste. Activities to overcome problems using counselling methods, discussions, practices and assistance. Initial counselling of the meeting about the prospects for the cultivation of oyster mushrooms continued handling baglog which has expired so that it does not become waste that pollutes the environment. Target and outputs of activities, namely after farmers follow counselling on managing waste and making various waste products, farmers can produce compost, animal feed and fuel made from baglog waste which can increase farmer's income.   Keywords: old baglog,  contaminated baglog,  environmental pollution,  baglog compost   Abstrak  Industri penggergajian kayu di desa Bodag Kecamatan Kare Kabupaten Madiun menyebabkan berlimpahnya serbuk gergaji kayu. Limbah tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam budidaya jamur tiram. Permasalahan limbah ini dapat diatasi namun timbul masalah baru dengan dihasilkannya limbah media tanam jamur (baglog). Limbah baglog yang dihasilkan dalam satu kali panen kurang lebih (1 – 2) t.. Keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemanfaatan limbah baglog merupakan suatu permasalahan. Tujuan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah meningkatkan keterampilan petani jamur untuk menghasilkan produk berbahan limbah baglog. Kegiatan mengatasi permasalahan menggunakan metode penyuluhan, diskusi, praktek dan pendampingan. Penyuluhan awal pertemuan tentang prospek budidaya jamur tiram dilanjutkan penanganan baglog yang telah habis masa tanamnya agar tidak menjadi limbah yang mencemari lingkungan.  Sesuai target dan luaran kegiatan yaitu setelah petani mengikuti penyuluhan penanganan limbah dan pembuatan berbagai produk limbah maka petani dapat memproduksi kompos, pakan ternak dan bahan bakar berbahan baku limbah baglog yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani.   Kata kunci: baglog tua;  baglog terkontaminasi;  pencemaran lingkungan; kompos baglog

Desa Cepaka merupakan salah satu Desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Kediri, Kabupaten Tabanan, Provinsi Bali. Desa Cepaka memiliki potensi untuk menjadi objek wisata, tetapi belum dikembangkan. Potensi objek wisata tersebut yaitu melalui lintasan jogging track yang berada di Desa Cepaka. Tahap awal dalam Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) periode Ganjil Tahun 2019/2020 ini dilaksanakan dengan kegiatan survey, serta mencari informasi dan data mengenai objek wisata. Untuk mendukung objek wisata yang bersih, indah, menarik, asri, dan sejuk maka diharapkan seluruh masyarakat Desa Cepaka dapat aktif dan peduli terhadap lingkungan disekitar desa. Sampah akan selalu ada dalam kegiatan rumah tangga maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, karena semua yang beraktivitas pasti akan menghasilkan sampah dan begitu juga yang terjadi di Desa Cepaka. Untuk menunjang hal tersebut, maka diperlukan upaya penanganan dan pengelolaan sampah dengan baik, karena pengelolaan sampah yang baik dapat memberikan manfaat yang baik juga bagi lingkungan, dan masyarakat desa. Kesadaran masyarakat serta kepedulian masyarakat berperan penting dalam merealisasikan jalan usaha tani (jogging track) di Desa Cepaka menjadi suatu objek wisata yang akan dapat memberikan nilai ekonomis yang lebih. <p>Mangrove fruit can be explored as a new local food source, especially in areas that have the potential of mangrove forests such as in the village of Bedono Sayung demak. Brayo and lindur mangrove fruits have the opportunity to be explored as alternative food ingredients because its contain high carbohydrates so they can be processed into flour. The stages of the community service program carried out are: (1) The socialization of the utilization of mangrove fruit; (2) training; (3) Monitoring and Mentoring. The impacts of this community service program include: (1) increasing public awareness to utilize brayo and lindur mangrove fruits for alternative food in the form of mangrove flour, (2) increasing community knowledge and skills in brayo and lindur mangrove processing into flour mangrove substitute for flour, (3) Encouraging the growth of business group in processing mangrove fruit into mangrove flour and processing of mangrove flour into various high-value economic cakes so that it is expected to improve the welfare of the village community Bedono Sayung Demak.</p><p> </p><p>Buah mangrove dapat dieksplorasi sebagai sumber pangan lokal baru terutama di daerah-daerah yang memiliki potensi hutan mangrove seperti di Desa Bedono Sayung demak. Buah mangrove jenis brayo dan lindur mempunyai peluang untuk dieksplorasi sebagai bahan pangan alternatif karena mengandung karbohidrat yang tinggi sehingga dapat diolah menjadi tepung. Tahapan program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah: (1) Sosialisai pemanfaatan buah mangrove; (2) pelatihan; (3) Monitoring dan Pendampingan. Dampak yang dihasilkan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini antara lain: (1) meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan buah mangrove jenis brayo dan lindur untuk pangan alternatif berupa tepung mangrove, (2) meningkatnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat bidang pengolahan buah mangrove jenis brayo dan lindur menjadi tepung mangrove pengganti terigu, (3) Mendorong tumbuhnya kelompok usaha pengolahan buah mangrove (brayo dan lindur) menjadi tepung mangrove dan pengolahan tepung mangrove manjadi beragam kue bernilai ekonomi tinggi sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa Bedono Sayung Demak.</p>

School children are at a rapid development stage in their intellectual and skill processes and are beginning to have vigorous physical activities. To support the development and physical activity, school children need various kinds of nutrients in sufficient quantities in order to grow and develop properly, because the role of nutrition greatly determines the child's health condition.In this regard, many direct factors are affecting nutritional status, including food consumption and infectious diseases. Moreover, several indirect factors, such as knowledge, education, income level, parental education, and family size, also affected the nutritional status. In developing countries, including Indonesia, nutrition is becoming more critical in terms of public health because malnutrition can reduce immunity to several diseases, especially infectious diseases.This community service program aims to increase education and provide information about stunting through the dissemination of stunting prevention and fostering the creativity of the community through the utilization of the home yard. The implementation methods employed includeddissemination, the use of Poskesdes as a Healthy Village House, coaching, and community empowerment. Thematic Community Service Program outputs are dissemination activities, the formation of Healthy Village Houses and modules on the use of house yards, and the formation of garden models, which are the results of the utilization of house yards that can be emulated by people who want to use their houses as gardens. The advice given regarding this Community Service Program is that the local government needs to support the stunting prevention in the village, especially in Karya Indah Village. Moreover, awareness is needed from village officials, health cadres, and the community in managing Poskesdes as a Healthy Village Home. Guidance and support from village officials and youth organizations are also needed for the community regarding the utilization of home yards

The problems faced by the children of Banjarmasin Al-Ashr Orphanage are almost the same as those faced by other orphanages in the city of Banjarmasin, namely, lack funds and personnel or volunteers who help and guide orphanage children to develop their skills and creativity as a provision in carrying out life after the completion of the orphanage. The purpose of this community service program is to make the children of the Al-Ashr Orphanage have a strong and more independent motivation by providing them with the knowledge and skills they will use to prepare themselves for the future. While the target of this activity is to make the children of the Al-Ashr Orphanage have design skills in making invitations, brochures, and banners as well as online businesses. The method used is training and guidance, where training is carried out with presentations and practices.
