THE ROLE OF COUNSELOR IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF AKHIR ZAMAN HADITH. This literature review addresses the role of the counselor by pressing on a number of common phenomena that occur today. This phenomenon turns out to correspond to a number of “akhir zaman” hadiths. Of course, with this description, you will increasingly realize that the role of counselor is very much needed now to deal with student dynamics. The ‘akhir zaman’ characters in question include: (1) aspects of humanitarian setbacks caused by drugs; (2) the fading of the tradition of family life and social interaction tends to be individualistic, thus requiring solutions to Islamic values ​​and norms themselves but should be structured by involving school components reflected in the school's vision and mission; (3) the choice of social context needs to be formulated in depth which places the teachings of Islam as a whole without compromising the teachings of Islam as a religion of da'wah; and finally, (4) massive relationships that emphasize strong interpersonal relationships between counselors and students and subject teachers.

This chapter provides an overview of the wide variety of Buddhist practices. Though people who practice Buddhism would all self-identify as Buddhist, what Buddhism means to them and the role it plays in their lives is very different. Think about the social context. For some Buddhists, Buddhism is deeply intertwined with both family life and powerful social institutions. This social context affects how practice looks for each. The role of ritual is also different for each. Moreover, there are different background assumptions about the supernatural in play. Another difference is the place of meditation in the lives of each of these Buddhists. None of this is to say that any of these people are practicing “real” or “authentic” Buddhism. It is merely to highlight the ways in which Buddhist practice varies around the world.

One of the common social problems in Nigerian society nowadays is the increasing of violence against women and children, mostly by male members of a family. Unfortunately, the problem has assumed a new dimension in recent times as husbands become victims of their wives leading violence against them. Throughout the history of human existence on earth. The Qur’ān identifies nushūz as a factor that leads to family crises in marriage contracts and steps have been recommended for peaceful resolution of such disputes in the Qur’ān. However, in spite of this provision, violence against family members is on increase among Muslim families in Nigeria. Some of the questions that many will ask are whether Muslim couples are aware of the Qur’anic guidance in resolving family crises or not? To what extent do the Muslims follow the Islamic teachings in matters related to family life before, during and after disputes? How can such increasing violence be controlled following the teachings of the Qur’ān and Sunnah of the Prophet SAW? What shall be the role of Muslim women in promoting peaceful life within the family? The paper is an attempt to answer the above questions and recommend the best ways to improve family life among Muslims. This will be through analytical studies of relevant texts of the Qur’ān and Sunnah and the current realities in Nigerian Muslim families with a particular reference to Gombe metropolitan city of Gombe State, Nigeria. The paper recommends that Islamic values should be emphasized and upheld at all levels of family life by all and sundry.

A serious risk facing children worldwide is homelessness and living on the streets. This paper sought to provide an understanding into the interplaying factors promoting the prevalence of children living on the streets. To contextualise the findings, a literature review method was used to understand the challenges of children living on the streets. Challenges associated with residing on the streets include the likelihood of harm as a result of risky sexual behaviour which can be escalated by their vulnerability and lack of a protective parent. Furthermore, children living on the streets are at risk of being involved in chronic and relapsing conditions associated with drug abuse and other criminal activities. Recovery can be a very long enduring process. Moreover, some are also likely to die from hunger and there is a lot of potential that is buried as a result of living on the streets. This paper uses the ecological perspective to emphasise and articulate the role of the social context in shaping the lives of children.

This chapter examines the cognitive basis of social interaction by assessing the claim that children’s ability to understand the minds of others (or ‘Theory of Mind’ [ToM]) matters for their successful social interactions. To this end, it critically examines available research on the relation between ToM and social interaction during early and middle childhood, both within and outside the family. The chapter introduces ToM in a social context framework that considers the processes through which ToM has an impact on children’s social outcomes, and the circumstances under which an association between ToM and social interaction should be apparent. It sets an agenda for future research by emphasizing (1) the mediating role of intentional social interaction behaviours in explaining the relations between ToM and social outcomes in early and middle childhood; and (2) the moderating role of partner-related variables (including familiarity, the nature and quality of the relationship, and the level of partner ToM ability) and of social context in strengthening or attenuating the relations between ToM and social interaction.

Correcting a person’s false belief verbally seems to affect infants’ predictions of this person’s belief-based actions. However, the role of the context in which this verbal correction takes place has not been investigated. That is, it is not yet clear whether it is the social interaction between interlocutors that makes children interpret an utterance as a communicative act that alters the recipient’s mental states. Using a violation-of-expectation paradigm, we tested whether 18-month-olds (n=84) understood that for a communicative act to be successful in repairing an agent’s false belief, the agent had to discern the verbal statement. Participants saw how an agent put a toy into a box and left. An assistant then moved the toy into a cup. Before the agent reached into either the box or the cup, an intervention phase varied the social context within which communication took place. In a social context without any statement, infants expected the agent to search the toy at the original location. In a non-social context with a statement, infants had no clear expectations. However, in a social context with a statement, infants updated their predictions about the agent’s action, expecting her to search the toy at the actual location. Thus, 18-month-olds infer that a social interaction is required for a communicative act to be successful and to repair an agent’s false belief.

This text proposes to outline a brief overview of the conditions of production, circulation and consumption of journalism in a social context of deep media coverage, marked by ubiquity and interconnection. Critical-analytical, the article includes a literature review that combines studies of journalism with sociosemiotics, with the premise that media coverage promotes the autonomy of journalistic discourse in time and space and also fosters the access revolution. In the course of the information production cycle, circulation emerges with an instance of repositioning reception, also reconfiguring the role of production and catalyzing new communicative contracts.

Leadership in this 21st century need to shift their tents to cover major areas of technological revolution, especially interpersonal relationships among the global leaders due to globalization challenges. For this purpose, the chapter attempts to interrogate the concept of interpersonal relationship and its correlation with global leadership mindset. A literature review was conducted to establish the link between global leadership mindset on the interpersonal relationship, particularly cultural differences. Discourse content analysis was carried out to explain the collected information. It was established that job-related interactions and social interactions within the work enhance cordial relationships among peers, subordinates, and superiors. However, today's global leaders have been shying away from this responsibility. The chapter concludes that strategic partnership is required by the global leaders in the area of relational competencies such as social interaction, supportive networking, and avoidance of racial discrimination in order to achieve global performance.

The number of misinformation cases in online media made the Indonesian government along with volunteers to form a national media literacy movement, named #SiBerkreasi. However, the understanding of media literacy by the #SiBerkreasi movement is still limited to the application of rules and not literacy. Using a literature review, this paper criticizes #SiBerkreasi as a media literacy movement in Indonesia. The analysis starts by critiquing the understanding of media literacy in Indonesia looking at the context of Indonesian diverse society. The results show that media literacy in Indonesia is still understood from a positivism point of view where literacy teaches only what is positive and what is negative. As a result, #SiBerkreasi movement does not even touch the critical area of how media literacy should be understood in a diverse society. Beyond the #SiBerkreasi case, this work considers the role of social context and society in creating information.
