The Impact

Background: The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has caused countries and various sectors of the society to initiate measures to prevent its rapid spread, and thus, numerous political and hospital authorities have adopted measures to care for affected patients, limiting the assistance of several hospital sectors, including the urology service of the Hospital Geral de Fortaleza (HGF).Methods: A retrospective quantitative descriptive study was conducted by analyzing the data of the years 2019 and 2020 (January to June) rescued through the Center for patient safety and hospital quality (CPSHQ) of the HGF, correlating them through methods and statistical and numerical analyses with the aid of Excel and Epi Info programs, to compare and observe the impact of the pandemic in the urology service.Results: A 26.23% decrease was observed in relation to elective procedures, 25.6% for emergency procedures, 16.57% for minor surgeries, and 46.44% for outpatient consultations when compared to the first semester of 2019 compared to that in 2020.Conclusions: It is clear that the pandemic has negatively impacted the volume of various HGF urological services, and new studies should demonstrate the consequences of the lack of assistance in the period described.

The results in this study are COVID-19 pandemic outbreak has a pretty bad impact on the capital market, where the occurrence of this pandemic has affected many investors in making investment actions that are very influential on the Stock Market.

Introduction: The parallel radiograph technique produce the accurate measurement so that it can be used to detect the small changing in the hard tissue. In the orthodontic treatment, the force which is given when the activation make the resorption of alveolar crest happen. The purpose of this study is to obtain data of the photo using radiograph periapikal parallel technique and the resorption of alveolar crest in orthodontic treatment during 3 weeks after the first activation. Methods: This quantitative descriptive study used the accidental sampling methode. The data was collected by using parallel radiograpy photo when the first aktivation of coil component in the removable orthodontic patient and 3 weeks after it. Then it was digitilized using the camera and proceeded by Easydent program. After that the tooth lenght of the first and second photos was counted. While to measure the a lveolar crest used the matematic proyection. Results: The result showed p>0,05 which meaned there was no significant differences of the tooth lenght between the first and second photos. The resorption of alveolar crest in this removable orthodontic treatment after the force was given during 3 weeks, was 0, 69899 mm. Conclusion: The parallel radiography technique which is used in this study could be used in the measurement of such condition with reccurent time and the accurate result, and the resorption of the alveolar crest in the insisive central mandibule effected by removable orthodontic treatment was in normal range.

The purpose of this research is to measure the percentage of management readiness of PKBM in following accreditation. This research was a quantitative descriptive study using a questionnaire as the research instrument. The sample in this study was 8 respondents who were PKBM managers in Rejang Lebong Regency. The finding obtained from the results of the PKBM readiness in registering institutions in SISPENA showed a percentage of 84.28571% so that it was included in the category of very ready to register their institutions at SISPENA. For the readiness of 8 standard documents, the research results obtained show a percentage of 71.25673% so that it was included in the quite ready category. For performance readiness/ implementation of activities, the results of the study showed a percentage of 62.32039% so that it was included in the category of not ready. Based on research findings, it was known that the obstacles in preparing the accreditation process were cost and human resources. The conclusion from this study was that PKBM managers in Rejang Lebong Regency were very prepared to register their institutions in SISPENA because all PKBM already have an NPSN as the main requirements for admission to SISPENA. In addition, it was also known that PKBM managers are quite prepared in preparing 8 standard documents because on average PKBM managers already have 8 standard documents. The manager of PKBM was not ready to prepare the performance/implementation of activities because the data found was not in accordance with 8 standard documents.

This article discusses the elements of language and language skills, specifically the elements of mufradat and qowā’id as well as the skill in writing Arabic (al-maharah al-kitabah). The present study aims to prove the theory of the importance of language element in language skill, i.e. the correlational relationship of the mastery of mufradat and qowā’id with the ability to write in Arabic of grade X students of MAN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta majoring in Religion in the academic year of 2016/2017. This is a quantitative descriptive study that uses the said students as the subjects. There are 27 students involved in this study who show that: 1) The average score of mufradat mastery of the students is 75.74. This score is including in the category of average. 2) The average score of qowā’id ability of the students is 42.74 which is including in the category of average. 3) The average score of the kitabah ability of the students is 64.81 which is including in the average category. 4) The result of r calculation referring to the Correlation Coefficient (R) regression formula shows the value of 0.800. The value significance obtained is (0.000). Thus, it could be interpreted that between the mastery of mufradat and qowā’id simultaneously with the ability to write Arabic of the students shows a positive and significant correlational relationship. Abstrak Artikel ini membahas tentang unsur bahasa dan keterampilan berbahasa, lebih tepatnya unsur mufrādat dan qawā’id serta keterampilan menulis Arab (al-Mahārah al-Kitābah). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan teori yang mengatakan pentingnya unsur bahasa dalam keterampilan berbahasa, yakni tentang hubungan korelasional penguasaan Mufrādat dan qawā’id dengan kemampuan menulis Arab siswa kelas X Agama MAN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan bersifat kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menjadikan siswa kelas X IIK MAN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta sebagai subyek sekaligus sampel penelitian dengan jumlah sebanyak 27 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Nilai rata-rata penguasaan Mufrādat siswa sebesar 75,74. Nilai tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sedang atau cukup. 2) Nilai rata-rata kemampuan Qawā’id siswa sebesar 42,74, termasuk dalam kategori sedang atau cukup. 3) Nilai rata-rata kemampuan Kitabah siswa sebesar 64,81. Nilai tersebut termasuk dalam kategori sedang atau cukup. 4) Hasil perhitungan r mengacu pada nilai koefisien korelasi (R) rumus regresi menunjukan nilai yang diperoleh sebesar 0,800. Kemudian nilai signifikansi diperoleh sebesar (0,000). Maka dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa antara penguasaan Mufrādat dan qowā’id secara bersamaan dengan kemampuan menulis bahasa Arab siswa kelas X IIK MAN 1 Sleman Yogyakarta terdapat hubungan korelasional yang positif dan signifikan. Background: Nail plants (Pteridophyta) are cormus plants whose bodies can be clearly distinguished between roots, stems, and leaves. However, ferns cannot produce seeds because they breed with spores. Nail plants are divided into 4 classes, namely (1) Psilophytinae (ancient nail); (2) Lycopodiinae (wire nail); (3) Equisetinae (horsetail); and (4) Filicinae (true nail). Community structure is a concept that studies species composition or composition and its abundance in a community. Method: This research is a quantitative descriptive study to reveal information about the community structure of ferns. The study was conducted on July 18, 2018 - August 18, 2018. Results: The ferns found in the Kusu-Kusu forest area were 10 species and the Soya region as many as 20 species. Overall the types of ferns found in the two study locations were grouped into 2 classes, namely Filicinae / Pteropsida (true nail) and Lycopodiinae (wire nails). The Filicinae / Pteropsida class has a greater number of species, both in the Kusu-Kusu forest area (8 species) and the Soya forest area (13 species). The Lycopodiinae class has a smaller number of species, both in the Kusu-Kusu forest area (2 types), and the Soya forest area (7 species). Conclusions: 10 ferns were found in the Kusu-Kusu Sereh forest area in Nusaniwe Subdistrict, while in the Soya District of Sirimau District there were 20 species.

Abstract: Most farmers are not high educated, however, they can get a lot of information about attitude from other people and media. This study aimed to obtain parents’ attitudes toward the formation of children personality in Talawaan Bantik, Wori, North Minahasa. Ths was a quantitative descriptive study. Data were colleced by using interview and observation, meanwhile data collecting tools were guided by using interviews, questionnaires, and documentation study. The results showed that the attitude of parents influenced the formation of the child's personality. Parents who cared their children with loving personality produced more responsible children, friendly children, and creative children. The attitude of parents who spoiled their children could produce lazy personality. The attitude of parents who gave physically punishment to the children could produced children with moody and timid personality. The attitude of parents who taught children to socialize with their surroundings coould resulted in children who were good in speaking.Keywords: attitudes of parents, farmer family, child's personalityAbstrak: Pekerjaan sebagai petani ditekuni orang tua yang mayoritas tidak berpendidikan tinggi namun sudah mendapat banyak informasi mengenai sikap melalui orang lain dan media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran sikap orang tua terhadap pembentukan kepribadian anak di Desa Talawaan Bantik Kecamatan Wori Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sedangkan alat pengumpulan data yaitu panduan wawancara, kuisioner, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian mmperlihatkan sikap orang tua berpengaruh terhadap terbentuknya kepribadian anak. Orang tua yang bersikap mendidik anak dengan penuh kasih sayang menghasilkan kepribadian anak yang lebih bertanggung jawab, anak yang ramah, anak yang kreatif. Sikap orang tua yang terlalu memanjakan anak dapat menghasilkan kepribadian anak yang pemalas. Sikap orang tua yang memberikan hukuman fisik kepada anak dapat menghasilkan kepribadian anak yang pemurung, anak yang penakut. Sikap orang tua yang mengajarkan anak bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan sekitar dapat menghasilkan kepribadian anak yang mempunyai ketrampilan berbahasa yang baik.Kata kunci: sikap orang tua, keluarga petani, kepribadian anak

This study aims to determine the understanding and readiness of Indonesian Vocational School teachers in Tegal Regency in implementing the 2013 Curriculum. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. Respondents in this study were teachers of Indonesian Language Vocational School in Tegal Regency who had implemented the 2013 Curriculum. The results showed that Teacher's understanding of Curriculum 2013 was in the moderate category, namely as many as 12 teachers (48%). Teachers who were included in the low category were 8 teachers (32%), and teachers who were included in the high category were 5 teachers (20%). While the readiness of teachers to support the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum is in the moderate category, namely as many as 13 teachers (52%). Teachers fall into the low category as many as 10 teachers (40%) and teachers who fall into the high category are 2 teachers (8%). It can be concluded that the teacher's understanding and readiness in supporting the implementation of the 2013 curriculum are moderate.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of basic technical skills of lay up and one hand set shot of basketball extracurricular members at SMAN 1 Turen Malang Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method. The research subjects were 20 participants. The data analysis technique in this study used the percentage formula. The results showed that the extracurricular participants did the lay up and one hand set shot skills test in the "Enough" category with 13 participants (65.00%). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the basic technique skills of lay up and one hand set shot of extracurricular basketball participants at SMAN 1 Turen Malang Regency are included in the "Enough" category.   Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang tingkat keterampilan teknik dasar lay up dan one hand set shot peserta ekstrakurikuler bolabasket di SMAN 1 Turen Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan metode survei. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 20 peserta. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta ekstrakurikuler dalam melakukan tes keterampilan lay up dan one hand set shot pada kategori “Cukup” dengan 13 peserta (65,00%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan teknik dasar lay up dan one hand set shot peserta ekstrakurikuler bolabasket SMAN 1 Turen Kabupaten Malang termasuk dalam kategori “Cukup”.
