Photovoltaic systems installed in Ecuador benefit from the geographical position of the country, since, being located on the equatorial line, solar radiation is constant throughout the year, varying in the rainy seasons. The objective of this work is to evaluate the possibility of installing public lighting systems using photovoltaic systems in the Abdón Calderón parish due to the difficulties that exist today, thereby helping not only to reduce the country's energy generation problems, but also to reduce the environmental impact and provide autonomy to the inhabitants of the parish. An observational research was carried out, in addition to interviewing the residents of the parish related to lighting in the streets, as a result, it was obtained that in the future investments can be made to introduce the technology, improving with it the quality of public lighting, the environmental and social impacts associated with it.

Generation of solar energy has tremendous scope in India. The geographical location of the country stands to its benefit for generating solar energy. The reason being India is a tropical country and it receives solar radiation almost throughout the year, which amounts to 3,000 hours of sunshine. This is equal to more than 5,000 trillion kWh. Almost, all parts of India receive 4-7 kWh of solar radiation per sq metres. This is equivalent to 2,300–3,200 sunshine hours per year. States like Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, and West Bengal have great potential for tapping solar energy due to their location. Since majority of the population live in rural areas, there is much scope for solar energy being promoted in these areas. Use of solar energy can reduce the use of firewood and dung cakes by rural household. Many large projects have been proposed in India, some of them are: i).Thar Desert of India has best solar power projects, estimated to generate 700 to 2,100 GW, ii). The Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) launched by the Centre is targeting 20,000 MW of solar energy power by 2022, iii).Gujarat’s pioneering solar power policy aims at 1,000 MW of solar energy generation, and Rs. 130 billion solar power plan was unveiled in July 2009, which projected to produce 20 GW of solar power by 2020. Apart from above, about 66 MW is installed for various applications in the rural area, amounting to be used in solar lanterns, street lighting systems and solar water pumps, etc. Thus, India has massive plan for Solar Energy generation that may not only fulfill the deficit of power generation but also contribute largely in Green Energy Production to help to reduce the Climatic Changes globally.

A photovoltaic system is a set of devices that take advantage of the energy produced by the sun and convert it into electrical energy. The impact produced by the possibility of using solar energy in a controlled manner for different uses and purposes has allowed the development of complete systems of transformation, storage and distribution of the energy produced with photovoltaic systems as appropriate. The production of electricity from solar radiation using solar cells and photovoltaic panels is an application that has yet fully disseminated in Third World countries, such as Ecuador. The generation of electric power will depend on the hours that the sun shines and affects the solar panel, the type and quantity of modules installed, orientation, inclination, solar radiation that reaches them, quality of the installation and the power that can be delivered to the user. Ecuador is in a privileged location in terms of solar radiation, because the equatorial line that divides the planet into two hemispheres passes through it, being almost perpendicular to the radiation it receives. In addition, this does not change during the year and there a constant angle of incidence, characteristics that give photovoltaic solar energy a great potential for use. In the investigation, an analysis of how the prices of photovoltaic systems affect the Province of Manabí, the methodology used has been the bibliographic review to know as much as possible about what replenishes the costs of photovoltaic systems.

The rural areas of Abdón Calderón Parish are sites that today their population does not receive an adequate consumption of energy, first because the communities are far from the generation center and second because of the difficult access conditions of the territory studied. The power lines have installed next to the ravines where most of the population crosses rivers and streams, which cause difficulties mainly of humidity, falling poles among others, causing poor quality of service to consumers. Renewable sources of energy have distributed in the territory; one of the most prominent sources is solar energy, where solar radiation levels are high. The solution to the problems of the quality of energy in a first stage can have solved with small microgrids implementing photovoltaic systems, for this, we have been working on knowing the levels of penetration that can have assumed by the electrical system. The objective of the research is to be able to demonstrate the elements that conspire with the poor quality of the energy and propose in first stage microgrids that take advantage of solar radiation with the implementation of photovoltaic systems.

The article considers the role of trust in the economy, the mechanisms of its accumulation and the possibility of using it as one of the growth factors in the future. The advantages and disadvantages of measuring the level of generalized trust using two alternative questions — about trusting people in general and trusting strangers — are analyzed. The results of the analysis of dynamics of the level of generalized trust among Russian youth, obtained within the study of the Institute for National Projects in 10 regions of Russia, are presented. It is shown that there are no significant changes in trust in people in general during the study at university. At the same time, the level of trust in strangers falls, which can negatively affect the level of trust in the country as a whole, and as a result have negative effects on the development of the economy in the future. Possible causes of the observed trends and the role of universities are discussed. Also the question about the connection between the level of education and generalized trust in countries with different quality of the institutional environment is raised.
