Salah satu cara tetap mempertahankan aspek ekonomi di perindustrian Batam di tengah pandemi Covid-19 yaitu dengan tetap membiarkan karyawan bekerja dengan salah satu cara yaitu WFH (Work From Home). Akan tetapi, hal tersebut tidak bisa serta merta dilakukan karna akan ber-efek pada perusahaan yang tidak dapat melakukan protokol tersebut.  Maka demi tetap menjalankan perusahaan guna membantu krisis ekonomi yang terjadi, PT. Uni Metaltech Industry masih harus tetap beroperasi. Hal ini tentu dapat menimbulkan masalah baru, jika karyawan di biarkan bertindak seperti biasa tanpa adanya protokol pencegahan. Maka untuk itu perlu penerapan protokol pencegahan yang baik dan efektif. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dilakukan sebuah penelitian berupa pembuatan produk motion graphic sebagai media edukasi protokol pencegahan COVID-19 di PT. Uni Metaltech Industry dan dilakukan analisis setelahnya. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan metode penyelesaian Villamil-Molina (Development, Preproduction, Production, Post Production, Delivery). Hasil uji produk yang telah dibuat kepada ahli mendapat skor skala likert 3.76 “Layak” lalu diuji efektivitas dengan EPIC Model kepada 30 koresponden karyawan PT. Uni Metaltech Industry yang mendapatkan hasil EPIC Rate 4.37 “Sangat Efektif” dengan nilai rincian (Empathy: 4.38, Persuation: 4.34, Impact: 4.38, Communication: 4.38) dan hasil kuesioner terhadap pengujian teknik kinetic  menunjukkan hasil akhir “Sangat Efektif”

By the development of era, there's increasing someone's mindset to create an innovation, which one is the promotion is right on the target. Nowadays, performer of e-commerce apply some promotion to get the market. e-commerce's competing eachother to create an inovation by promotion, for maintain the market and increase the users. There is various kinds of online promotions available on today, but the effectiveness of online promotions is not yet known to be applied by e-commerce. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of online promotions. The research uses the EPIC Model Test which has 4 dimensions, namely empathy, persuasion, impact and communication. This study uses non-probability sampling because the population does not allow members of the population to have the same opportunity to be selected as a sample. This study also uses data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires. Through the distribution of questionnaires to 426 respondents in Indonesia who use e-commerce.                 The results was found that the Empathy of dimension is a very effective way for online e-commerce promotion. Followed by the Persuasion dimension, the Impact dimension and the Communications dimension. Overall results according to all four dimensions show that online promotion is effective in the e-commerce industry. Keywords : E-Commerce, Online Promotion, EPIC Model

The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of using Bali Go Live Channel as media promotion digital of Bali Tourism by using EPIC Model approach. Effectiveness measurement is done by obtaining value of empathy dimension, persuation dimension, impact dimension, and communication dimension from digital promotion conducted by Bali Go Live Channel to know how effective promotion is done. Determination of samples in this study using accidental sampling method as much as 100 respondents tourists. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis, validity and reliability analysis, simple tabulation analysis, and EPIC Model analysis. From the results of quantitative descriptive analysis can be seen that the measurement of dimensions empathy, dimension persuasion, dimension impact, and dimension communication entered in the range of effective scale. The results of this study show the use of Bali Go Live Channel as a digital promotion media of Bali tourism declared effective. This is shown from the EPIC Rate of 3.98 which fall into the effective category.

In recent years, the crop growth modeling community invested immense effort into high resolution global simulations estimating inter alia the impacts of projected climate change. The demand for computing resources in this context is high and expressed in processor core-years per one global simulation, implying several crops, management systems, and a several decades time span for a single climatic scenario. The anticipated need to model a richer set of alternative management options and crop varieties would increase the processing capacity requirements even more, raising the looming issue of computational efficiency. While several publications report on the successful application of the original field-scale crop growth model EPIC (Environmental Policy Integrated Climate) for running on modern supercomputers, the related performance improvement issues and, especially, associated trade-offs have only received, so far, limited coverage. This paper provides a comprehensive view on the principles of the EPIC setup for parallel computations and, for the first time, on those specific to heterogeneous compute clusters that are comprised of desktop computers utilizing their idle time to carry out massive computations. The suggested modification of the core EPIC model allows for a dramatic performance increase (order of magnitude) on a compute cluster that is powered by the open-source high-throughput computing software framework HTCondor.
