Main objective of the present study is to examine psychological well-being among Government and Private NGO’s abled person. A sample of 80 male and female Government and Private NGO’s abled person was drawn randomly selected Bhavnagar district area’s NGO’s. The psychological well-being scale: scale development and its correlates. Developed by Bhogle and Prakash was used for data collection. This scale in which five factors major meant. Data was collected by face to face interview method. Mean, SD and ‘t’ test were calculated for the analysis of data. Results indicate that there is no significant difference among Government and Private NGO’s abled person in psychological well-being.

Aim of the research is to find out the Psychological Well-being among School teachers. So investigator selected two groups one is government school teachers  and other is  non government school teachers, both groups have 400 persons. In one group has 200 and other one groups has 200 persons. The all subjects were randomly selected. Data were collected from Ahmadabad district. Scale was use for data collection is personal datasheet and Psychological Well-being scale developed by Bhogale and Prakash (1995), and data were analysis by “f” test. Result show, There is no significant difference between the psychological well-being of government and non government school teachers. There is no significant difference between the psychological well-being of male and female and urban and rural area.

Aim of the research is to find out the psychological Well being among B.ed college students, so investigator selected two groups one is male and other is female, both groups have 120 students. In each group has 60 male and other one groups has 60 female students. Data were collected from different collages of v.v.nagar city. Scale was use for data collection is personal datasheet and psychological Well being scale developed by Bhogale and Prakash (1995), 2×2 factorial design was used and data were analysis by ANOVA test. Result show, There is no significant difference between the Psychological Well being among male and female B.ed college student. There is no significant difference between the Psychological well-being among urban and rural B.ed college student. There is no significant difference between the effect of interaction on Psychological Well being among type of sex and type of area of B.ed college student.

The main objective of the present investigation is to examine the stress management among teaching and non teaching staff. A sample of 30 participants (15=Teaching & 15 Non Teaching) was drawn randomly drawn from the population. Stress Management Scale (SMS) by Dr. Pushpraj Singh & Anjali Srivastava was used for data collection. Data was collected by face to face interview method from the target population from different education institute of Ghaziabad city. Mean, standard deviation and t-test were calculated for the analysis of data. Results indicate that there is no significant difference among Teaching and Non-teaching staff participants in relation to stress management. Result revealed that Non teaching participants have higher mean score on stress management in compare to teaching participants. In simple terms it can be said that Non teaching participants have higher stress management.

The main objective of the present study is to examine the job satisfaction among government and private employees. A sample of 60 male and female employees was drawn randomly drawn from the population. The Generic Job Satisfaction Scale: Scale Development and Its Correlates, developed by Scott Macdonald and Peter Maclntyre (1997) was used for data collection. Data was collected by face to face interview method from the target population from different originations of Anand district. Mean, standard deviation and t-test were calculated for the analysis of data. Results indicate that there is no significant difference among government and private employees in job satisfaction.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the impact of gender and location of the college students on psychological well being. The sample for the study comprised of 100 college students from jalna city. In each 50 male students (25 urban and 25 rural male students) and 50 female students (25 Urban and 25 rural female college students). The scale was used for data collection psychological well being scale by Bholge and prakash (1995). Where gender and location were considered as independent variables and psychological well being as dependent variables. 2×2 factorial design was used and data were analysis by Mean, SD and ‘t’ values. Results revered no significant difference between male and female, Urban and Rural college students on psychological well being.

Latar Belakang: Perilaku merokok tidak hanya memberikan dampak secara fisik, namun juga psikologis. Berdasarkan hasil  observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti terhadap mahasiswa Papua di Salatiga, menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa yang menjalani masa studi  lebih dari 4 tahun, memilki manajemen keuangan yang kurang  baik, pengendalian emosi yang tidak stabil, pola tidur yang tidak teratur, dan lebih mendahulukan  konsumsi rokok  daripada kebutuhan dasar lainnya. Pria yang merokok ditemukan memiliki tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis rata-rata yang lebih rendah daripada pria yang tidak merokok. Tujuan: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kesejahteraan psikologis, serta membandingkan dua variabel tersebut pada responden perokok dan non-perokok di Kota Salatiga. Metode:penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif komparatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner: Skala Kesejahteraan Psikologis, data dikelola dengan menggunakan Teknik Analisis t-Test. Hasil: penelitian uji perbandingan setiap aspek kesejahteraan psikologis, menunjukan bahwa nilai t 1,018*, 0,584*, 1,930*, 0,177* dan 0,874* lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada aspek kesejahteraan fisik, mental, sosial, emosional dan spiritual bagi responden non-perokok dan perokok. According to data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia 2018, smoking based on age ≥10 years is mostly in West Java Province with a frequency every day and sometimes as much as 32%. The average number of cigarettes smoked was 28.8% (equivalent to two packs of cigarettes). Men who smoke were found to have lower mean levels of psychological well-being than men who don't smoke. Purpose: This study aims to compare the psychological well-being of smokers and non-smokers in Salatiga. Methods: the research used is a comparative descriptive quantitative study using a questionnaire: Psychological Welfare Scale, the data is managed using the t-test analysis technique. Results: a comparative test of every aspect of psychological well-being, showed that the t values of 1.018 *, 0.584 *, 1.930 *, 0.177 * and 0.874 * were greater than the significance level of 0.05. This shows that there is no significant difference in the aspects of physical, social, emotional and spiritual well-being for non-smoker and smoker respondents.

Hope is an optimism that is experienced even though the individual may have little personal control over the situation. This nature of hope changes the behaviour of patients and these changes influence various aspect of personality psychological well-being of patients and make their behaviour somewhat positive towards their disease to cope with it. One’s capacity to hope for things places an absolute limit on one’s power. Thus, Adult hope of patients helps them to deal with their disease in a positive manner. Diabetes is a type of disease in which patients have to face crucial time during their treatment period. The present study has been done to examine the influence of hope on psychological well-being, for this purpose the sample of 100 diabetes patients (50 male and 50 female diabetes patients) were selected randomly from Rajiv Gandhi Centre for diabetes JNMC, A.M.U, Aligarh. The adult hope questionnaire and psychological well-being scale was administered on diabetes patients to collect data. T-test and Pearson product moment co-efficient of correlation were used for data analysis. The obtained result revealed significance difference between male and female diabetes patients on hope and psychological well-being and relationship between hope and psychological well-being was found significantly positive.

The present study was aimed to investigate the emotional intelligence in relation to psychological well-being among students. The sample comprised 100 students (boys =50 & girls =50), who were randomly selected from Senior Secondary Schools, AMU, Aligarh. The mean age of students was 15 years. Well-Being Manifestation Measure Scale (WBMMS; Masse, et al. 1998a) and Emotional Intelligence Scale (EIS; Schutte et al., 1998) was used to assess psychological well-being and emotional intelligence. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and t-test were used to analyze the data. The results of the correlation showed that there is significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being. Further, the result of the t-test showed that girls scored significantly higher as compare to boys on emotional intelligence, while there was no significant difference found between boys and girls scores on total psychological well-being and also on its any dimensions.

The main objective of the present study is to examine the Emotional Quotient (sensitivity, conscientiousness, empathy and adaptability) among ectomorphic and endomorphic personality women. A sample of 30 participants (15 ectomorphy personality & 15 Endomorphic personality types) was drawn randomly from the population. Emotional quotient scale by Prof. N. K. Chadha was used for data collection. Data was collected by a face to face interview method. Mean, standard deviation and‘t’ test were the statistics calculated. The results indicate that there is no significant difference between ectomorphic and endomorphic women in relation to sensitivity, conscientiousness, empathy and adaptability. Results revealed that ectomorphic women have higher sensitivity, empathy and adaptability. On the other hand, the endomorphic women have higher conscientiousness.

This study was designed to address the relationship between and some components of psychological well-being and duration among prisoners in Hosanna town. To meet this objective, the researcher drew 100 out of 2,000 populations who were selected as sample participants of the study by using systematic random sampling techniques. A point Likert-type scale questionnaire was used. The data were analysed through percentage, correlation; t-test and analysis of variance. The result revealed that there is no significant relationship between some components of psychological well-being and age among prisoners. The study also revealed that there is a significant difference between male and female prisoners on the components of psychological well-being. The study suggested that it is advisable to create favourable conditions for the prisoner to develop a sense of good interaction among them. Finally, the correctional centre should develop a sense of belongingness and coordination among offenders to minimise stress and conflict in the correctional centre   Keywords: Components; psychological well-being; duration; prisoners.
