In this work, inorganic paste was made from melting slag (MS) of MSWI ash and MSWI bottom ash (MBA) by geopolymer technique. Heavy metals such as Pb and Cu are highly contained in MBA. In the view of environmental protection and resource conservation, recycling of MSWI ash is desirable. MS and MBA were mixed to make inorganic paste. Compressive strength was measured to evaluate the characteristics of inorganic paste after the period of 1, 3 and 7day. Compressive strength of almost 90 MPa was obtained at the mixing ratio of MS : MBA = 9 : 1. And the crystalloid and crystal structure was analyzed by FTIR and XRD. Korea Standard leaching Test (KSLT) is also used to evaluate the environmental safety of inorganic paste. The leached concentration of Pb and Cu were 0.44 ppm and 0.15 ppm, respectively. According to this result, heavy metals were safety immobilized and stabilized.

ABSTRACTKNbO3 thick films were deposited on (100)c SrRuO3//(100)SrTiO3 substrates at 240 °C for 3 h by hydrothermal method. Film thickness increased linearly with increasing the deposition number of times and 130 μm thickness was achieved by the 6 time deposition. XRD analysis showed the growth of epitaxial orthorhombic films with the mixture orientation of (100), (010) and (001). Cross-sectional SEM observation showed that the 130 μm-thick film was dense and no obvious voids inside the film. In addition, the crystal structure change along film thickness direction was not detected from the cross-sectional Raman spectral observation.

Abstract To confirm the feasibility of the theoretically proposed method of forming free-standing germanene [Araidai et al., J. Appl. Phys. 128, 125301 (2020).], we have experimentally investigated hydrogen desorption properties from the hydrogen-terminated germanane (GeH) flakes. Thermal desorption spectroscopy analysis revealed that hydrogen desorption occurred during the heating under an ultrahigh vacuum environment, corresponding to mass loss of 1.0 wt%. Moreover, we have found that using an ultrahigh vacuum ambient and short-time annealing for hydrogen desorption is a key to sustain the crystal structures.
